My Samsung Galaxy 5s will not receive any calls, I can text and call out but all incoming calls go to voicemail.. and no one at att customer service will take the call...I've been on hold for 2 hours and 15 minutes now and still holding. Does hours on hold with att count as minutes /phone usage ? Jk I know it does ...screwing me in both ends

Phone is only a few months old and was working fine last night - it ran out of battery but on being charged up this morning it was effectively locked. I received an error message that I could not make or receive calls and I had to restore via itunes. I have done so and lost loads of apps etc (my fault for not backing up) but still unable to make or receive calls. Anyone had anything similar and can advise who I should contact or what I can do.

i recently purchaced a used iphone4 on orange in the uk and although everything seems to work it will not send or recieve calls and texts or connect to internet,i have spent time resetting it through itunes myself and with an apple technician, iv done all the usual reset network and stuff and the sim works in my other phone. its like the phone has been blocked but it hasnt as iv done all the checks to see if it was stolen or blacklisted.please if anyone can help id b very grateful
i bought the phone from someone who lives in my village, there is no error code, when apple did a diagnostic on the phone they said it was running perfect. when you say carrier locked what exactly do you mean as i put a brand new orange sim in the phone and everything seems fine but the sim dosnt seem to activate so i tried it in my unlocked 4s and i got missed calls and txt's that id sent to it while it was in the 4, when i try ring it in the 4 it says sorry calls are currently not being connected to this number then goes to orange answerphone

Iphone 5 not able to receive calls
Post IOS8 update yesterday, today i experience a unique bug that doesn't allowed me to received the call while phone was locked and ringing....all the lock picture was blurred and I could not do able to do anything ...then just switched it OFF and ON. Happened twice... also while startup it took too long to detect the network
I and launch a service complaint regarding the same let see what apple do...
I dont know what apple is doing with iOS8?

FaceTime on MBP not able to receive calls only send
I have two MBP on my home network connected via wire and two iPads connecting wirelessly. MBP1/iPad1 can make FT calls to MBP2/iPad2 (...both would ring simultaneously). However, when MBP2/iPad2 tries to FT call, only iPad2 receives the inbound FT call. MBP2 does not receive it. Is there something in MBP2 (some setting) that's allowing it to make outgoing calls but "blocking" incoming calls?

To troubleshoot this issue where one of your Macs is unable to receive a FaceTime call, please follow the steps outlined below.
Troubleshooting FaceTime for Mac
You can make FaceTime calls using the FaceTime app. You can call FaceTime users whose contact information is in Contacts. You can add contacts and edit contact information in either FaceTime or Contacts. To place a video call, you may use a phone number or email address.
If you encounter issues making or receiving FaceTime calls, try the following:
Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences.If the issue persists, or if you see the message "Waiting for Activation", try toggling FaceTime off and then on.
Verify that the Date, Time, and Time Zone are set correctly:
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences > Date & Time > Date & Time.
Enable "Set Automatically".
Click the Time Zone tab and confirm the closest city is correct.
Verify that both parties are connected to an active broadband Internet connection.

Consult Using FaceTime behind a firewall for necessary ports to open in firewalls, security software and routers.

I have a problem with my iphone 4. My 3G always stays activated but I lose my network signal. The bars all get lost and I'm not able to receive / send sms, mms or phone calls. Could you guys please help me fix this problem? Ios 5.1.1
I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated. -
The wi-Fi button on my IPhone 4S is greyed out and will not turn on and therefore I am not able to receive wi-fi. How can I fix this problem?

All- I get this message ("iPhone can not make or receive calls. Restore from iTunes" (happend once while on airplain mode and now once while in wifi only area, out of cell range)). iPhone 4. Newest OS. Never happened with old OS! Cycling phone on/off does not help. Ignoring message causes phone to cycle off then on. After first time this happened, I restored. Six days later...same problem! Clearly a new fix is necessary. Suggestions?

iPhone 4s: Slide to unlock doea not work. Phone receives calls and messages but we cannot answer. We have tried numberous times to turn on/off to no avail.

I have two yahoo mail accounts. I went to bed and both were accessible on my iphone. I woke up and one was not able to receive any mail. I have deleted the account and added it back and changed the password. Still does not work. Any help?
Download the yahoo email app, if you already deleted and reinstalled the email account and still have issue.

Seems like a permissions error to me... maybe check the actual file it is attempting to scan... I know it is in your home folder, but just to be sure, you might want to check that everything is sane. -

If the device has been opened by anyone other than Apple the warranty is voided. -
Since installing iOS 6, I have had problems receiving calls and messages. Calls go straight to answerphone and messages do not appear until I switch off and on again. I have also installed iOS 6.1.1
Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously, ignoring the red power off slider, until the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. This should not affect any content on the iPad, it is similar to rebooting your computer.
