hi guys..i have bb curve 8520. i m nt able to receive data from other mobiles or pc via bluetooth. the mobiles & system can be paired with my BB but i cannt receive data from others. also it gives error message FILE TRANSFER SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE

If your other device is non-BB, then substitute, in the KB, the appropriate instructions for your other device. Unless you are on BB OS 6 or 7, do not skip the "Receive Using BlueTooth" step on the receiving BB...nothing will transfer if you do.

I can not receive files via bluetooth from other external devices nokia, samsung and other than apple. I can send files to them but not receive. What is the problem?

I sucessfully transfered files from my Nexus4 to MBP via Bluetooth
1. Go to system preference and select Sharing.
2. Check the Bluetooth sharing.
3. Specify directory to which you want to recieve files from Blue tooth device.
4. Turn Blue tooth off and make it on.
Your MBP is now ready to recieve files from Andoriod phone.

Receiving data via 802.15.4 radio

Hi,
I am familiar with using a bluetooth radio to receive data wirelessly through the serial port using VISA in LabVIEW. However due to the range limitations of my bluetooth radio, I'd like to have a go at receiving date via from an 802.15.4 radio. Has anyone any experience doing something like this and is it possible using VISA and a serial port? Presuming I know the data packet format, it should be ok right..?

No I plan on using a Shimmer device (see here) which as a 802.15.4 radio on it's circuit board to communicate to a laptop via serial port.
I'm not set on using the existing code as used with the bluetooth radio on the Shimmer, but if it will reduce the workload then yes of course I will. The existing code currently uses serial protocol so I guess I could modify the existing code?
My current setup is: I have a Shimmer (wireless sensor, accelerometer in this case) that has both a bluetooth radio and 802.15.4 radio. Due to my application needs, I would like to transmit data to the serial port via the 802.15.4. There is existing code which allows the Shimmer to communicate with the serial port using Bluetooth radio.
I'm not looking for code or anything, just wanted to know how to go about it and if I could use VISA which I'm fairly familiar with.

I assume that in your case you have two program lets say ZFOREGROUND and ZBACKGROUND (Called inside zforeground using submit statement)
zforeground has :
1. a input field to browse excel sheet or some file at the selection screen, and
2. button 'post all' to determine the background processing.
Now your requirement is such that you want zbackground to get scheduled as background job when post all button is clicked.

Not able to use GoogleTalk via WiFi

I am using BB-9320 since last 2 weeks.
But I am not able to use GoogleTalk via WiFi.
Since I don't want to connect my phone via service provider, so I have keep "data services" option off.
I am able to use internet and all other apps via WiFi, but just 1 app that is not running is "GoogleTalk"!!
I am not able to log in on GoogleTalk. It displays error that, "Data Service Unavailable".
What should I do?
Is there any other way to use GoogleTalk??

I'm afraid not.
This is the safties way, when you receive some files via BT. You should have control over it. In otherway someone can place some unwanted, dangerous file e.g. virus.
You can decide, delete it or record, and where. But notice, that when you open such a BT message, phone recognise art of file and prompt you where it store.

The only way to print from an iPad is to have a printer that supports AirPrint. Here's a link to an Apple support page on AirPrint.

AirPrint is way to print wirelessly via Wi-Fi but it requires that the printer supports AirPrint. The iPad cannot use Bluetooth to print and it will not print when connected via USB.

Not Able To View Data in Web Service Model

 I m trying to view a table using web service model.
 When i write the same code for binding it to context , i m able to view its data.
 But not so while using Web Service Model(not adaptive web service model).
 The code is:

Not able to see data in Pivot table

Hi,
I have a issue with pivot table i have a column which displays values 0 and 1 and another column called month when i am placing this month column as a section and values column as a measure i am not seeing any values means i can see the month as header but instead showing 0 or 1 its showing blank columns. previously i created similar kind of table it worked but at that time values column data type is number this time its char. can anybody help me out how i can see the data in the pivot table. i already tried converting this column to number but still i am not able to see data in that values column.

Hi copter,
Place the month column in rows and value column in measure section and check if results are coming.If still it doesnt come i suppose you dint apply aggregation rules to value column.In pivot view click values column and aggregate by /select min or max or either server complex and check your results.
(I suppose your aggregation rules is default)....Correct this one and you can place it in sections as per your requirement.
