Not able to see Consolidation Administration

Hi All,
I am not able to see the Consolidation Administration from Navigate--> Administer -->Classic Application Administration.
But i am able to see Applications --> Consolidation --> here i am able to see the created applications.
after creating the applications from HFM destop , i am trying to access from workspace i'm getting the error not registed with shared services.
i registered with "HFM Application Registration.exe" still i'm getting the same error.
in shared services also if i select the created application under HFM projects getting error " application is inactive". How to make active an application?
Please let me give the solution if anyone knows

In this case, I think that there is no real need to change the ports to fix the problem. What you should do is to reconfigure the Web Server from Hyperion Reporting and Analysis configuration. If after this, you still have the same problem, step back and redeploy to Application Server as well. In several occasions in the past I had to step back to the beginning (Shared Services) and reconfigure everything from scratch. Finally it worked though.
As far as we have understood by experiencing the same problem with 9.3.1, we have concluded that when you install the suite on a server that may not be a super hardware, you have to pause and wait between installation and configuration steps, in order for the services previously installed to start running for good. As soon as you start the shared services and the windows services console indicates the service as started, it takes however some time before it's really started. If during that time you go on with installing and configuring next products (hfm, reporting etc), the configuration reports success, but you end up with the problem of opening applications through the workspace.

Not able to see UWL Administration Page

I have seen the UWL configuration document which said to register the workitem types in the "UWL administration" page, but I cannot see that in the path system administration->system configuration->knowledge management

Not able to see hierarchial org structure by clicking on Expand this branch

Dear experts,
I am currently using the Online data extraction via sap for Nakisa Integration with SAP Landscape.
I have completed the configuration of Nakisa with the help of configuration guide and administrator guide - After completing administrator steps the org chart is visible - When i navigate to the org structure i can see the org unit under the org structure root that i configured as an administrator in the general settings section.
When i click the + sign ie on expand this branch i am not able to see all teh org units under the displayed branch.
Can you please guide me regarding how one can view the org structure below the selected branch when i click on expand this branch section.
Manager Personnel Id is not maintained for this org unit - Should the user clicking on the expand this branch be the manager of the org unit to see the org structure.

Dear Luke,
I am not able to see that navigation icons within an org chart box - The org unit that is displayed on clicking the orgchart does have branches in SAP but i am not able to see these navigation icons that lead me to these branches.
Is there any specific step that needs to be done to see these branches.
By the way what is the log file you are refering to is it the "PresentationResources.xml " or is it any other log file.

ITunes musical library located on a WD 2TB, ext. drv. Computer destroyed by virus; ED survived. Bought new laptop, connected ED. Not able to see library. ED shows as 'G:' 95% full. How can I reconnect my old library to new laptop?

I had my iTunes musical library on an ext. drv. WD 2TB, ‘MY BOOK ESSENTIAL'. Three weeks ago, my computer was infected by a virus that fried it. It did not affect the external drive. I bought a new computer: a laptop, Dell XPS, Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU, Windows 7 Home Premium. I have been able to connect the WD external drive; however, I am not able to see the musical library in my iTunes or Explorer. ‘My Computer’ shows the external drive as ‘G:’ 95% full. It reads, 32.1 GB free of 1.36 TB. When I click on the drive to see its contents, it shows nothing. The library in iTunes also shows nothing. Can anyone help, please? How can I reconnect my old musical library to my new laptop and iTunes? Many thanks.

Hmm, viruses don't generally "fry" drives. They can make bootable operating systems not bootable, hide data, and corrupt executable files. Software can potentially wipe all the data from the drive but it shouldn't be able to physically damage the drive. Bah! What's done is done.
As to unhiding your files assuming they are just hidden....
Hit Start > Run, type in CMD and press enter. Type the following at the prompt and then press enter:
attrib -h -s -r g:\*.* /d /s
This tells windows to clear the hidden, read-only, and system flags from all files on the drive, assuming of course your profile has the power to "see" the files and change them.
If that doesn't work then you may need to take ownership of the drive first. The drive may have security settings that make it "belong" to an account on your old system. Right-click on the drive in Windows Explorer and click Properties. Click the Security tab, the Advanced button, the Owner tab, then the Edit tab. Make yourself the owner, then you can make any other changes to the security settings you want to back on the Permissions tab. (If you can't change the owner log out and log back in as Administrator). For iTunes your account (or everyone) and SYSTEM need full access to all files. Any changes you make should be applied to "This folder, subfolders and files", should be inheritable and you should also replace the permissions on all child objects.

I could not able to see bi pulisher reports in dashboar

hi gurus(bi publisher)
since one month i have been facing problem with bi publisher reports
We have created flex chats using bi publisher and we have placed all the chats in dashboard,
when we were maintaining users and groups in RPD Administrator and all user were able to see the flex chats,
for that we have created XMLP_ADMIN group in RPD and we assign the uses to that group,Now we are using external tables for user and groups and
in the table i have created XMLP_ADMIN group in admin and i have assign user to that group
now the problem is ,administrator is able to see the flex chat reports but all other user r not able to see the bi publisher reprots
i was getting an error like access is denied please contact to bi publisher Administrator,such error i am getting
i did all the changes in security configuration ,i set security model as bi_server and i have given everything
even though users can not able to see the chats
is there any one using bi-publisher reports in dashboard with external table authentication? please
help me out form this problem

Given below different key comb. are maintained for same p.o , but as p.o was created then in message tab the first combination of fax was displayed and for this combi when clicking on print preview the message came for " Error in open _form " .
1) P doc type / P. org./ Vendor = Medium = 2 ( fax) / Date / time = 1 , is maintained
2) P Doc. Type / P.org / Pgrp = Medium = 1 / date/ time = 1 is maintained.
3) P Doc. Type / P.org =         Medium = 1 / date/ time = 1 is maintained
4)P org.                        =         Medium = 1 / date/ time = 3 is maintained
Here my querry is that as medium = 1 ( print output ) is also maintain then why Other comb, were not triggered , why only Comb. for medium -=2 ( fax ) was trigered , and after that as i changed the medium to 1 , i m able to see print preview , why ?
why i m not able to see p prwe for medium 2 ?

Sysadmin/All users are not able to see responsibilities after login in EBSR12

I came know the issue bcoz of profile change.
on part of iSupport setup on web node, followed metalink DMZ configuration in R12.
After I have changed below profile value, I am not able to see the responsibilities after login as sysadmin on webnode i.e new node B. but I can see responsibilities on node A.
Update Node Trust Level
To change the value of the Node Trust Level profile option value to External for a particular node, perform the following steps:
1.       Login to Oracle E-Bsonapness Suite as sysadmin user sonapng the internal URL
2.       Select the System Administrator Responsibility
3.       Select Profile / System
4.       From the 'Find system profile option Values' window, select the server and get the valie MINE8 into it.
5.       Query for %NODE%TRUST%. You will see a profile option named 'Node Trust Level'. The value for this profile option at the site level will be Normal. Leave this setting unchanged.
6.       Set the value of this profile option to External at the server level. The site level value should remain set to Normal
I need to follow metalink note for configuration DMZ in EBS R12. but I cant see the responsibilities of sysadmin.
fyi...I have cloned web external node by running adcfgclone.pl on node B by enabling web entry and web services only, remaining services are disabled. but as per metalink note, we should enable the Root Services also on node B. is it causing the issue after edit the profile on part of DMZ config in R12.
please let me know how to fix this issue?

SQL Authenticator Issue not able to see roles /groups in BPM Worklist

Hi ,
I had configured the SQL Authenticator in Web logic using the SQL Authenticator default scripts and i have inserted few users.
I am able to login to the Workspace using the users available in DB but i am not to able to see his group / role to which he belongs.
Even the user who belongs to Administrator group not able to see Administrator tab in BPM Workspace.
I have already added dbprovider.jar and i have configured jps-config.xml accordingly such that it point to custom SQL Authenticator.
Even set the Control flags to "SUFFICIENT".
Please some one help me on this.
Its a high priority task.

Could not able to see POs in URL (SRM-SUS-MM) Scenario

Hi All,
We have created a PO in MM(R/3) and was transferred to SUS through XI.
We could able to see the PO in TCode BBP_PD in SRM-SUS. But for some reason we are not able to see the PO from the URL.
We have Purchaser (SRM_ADMIN) and Vendor (ARAMI-02) assigned the roles SAP_EC_SUS_ADMIN_PURCHASER and SAP_EC_SUS_ORDER_PROCESSOR respectively.
My Org Structure is as follows:
We have an Organization defined as company. Function CCode deifined.
We have an POrg defined as POrg Function POrg Defined.
We have an Pgrp defined as PGrp Function PGrg Defined.
We have defined vendor Org. haven't assigned anything in function tab.
But defined some attributes needed for Vend Org.
The PO is coming into transaction BBP_PD(SRM SUS) through XI from MM R/3 but is not available in URL either for Purchaser or for Vendor.
Please tell me what needs to be done to resolve the above issue.

Planner not able to see Business rule

Hi There,
The issue here is ,we have attached some business rules to a form on "ON save" and through business rule security ,have given access to a planner user but with Planner login ,the he is not able to see that business rule attched with that form.i have checked with admin login ,it is visible.
Any idea why this is happening?

Have you added validate and launch access to the business rules for that user? If yes try restarting the services.
Also try removing and adding again the user with validate and launch access.
Try checking are you able to view BR under administration-> Business rules from the Planner's id ?

Not able to see planning applcn while addin in BR - Admnstration- Location

Not able to see application while adding in BR ->Administration->Location
When i right click on location i get select location window for Essbase and Plannig servr
when i select planning server i dont see that application...........
In Our enviornment we have 3 planing servers and u can access any Plannig application using any of the 3 servers
Here i was able to add the Planing application in Location on the other 2 servers but on one server when i populate application list it does not show that application

for sorting this out:
1. Stop the Planning, RMI and EAS,
2. Start the EAS, followed by RMI and Planning,
3. Log in to the planning application,
4. Try Creating a BR.

I m trying to change the logon page image and text, for that i made changes in visual administrator means i have removed the image and text from there and added new image and text with the same name,after that i have restarted the server but i m not able to see changes.
what i m missing ,i m doing this.
1. Go to the file path
\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com
2. Open the folder
a. com.sap.security.core.admin
b. Navigate Till root folder through servlet-jsp/logon
c. Inside the root go to Layout folder
d. In the Layout folder there exists those branding images
e. Replace the branding Image (Keeping the same name of ur image as that of the existing one ).
3. Restart the J2ee engine and the Portal .

Not able to see Master Rule Collection

hi Experts,
I m creating Portal Desktop by following one PDF, According to that PDF i created defulat framwork page and portal theme after that desktop and i have created one rule collection after that in desktop i have assigned default framwork and theme,
but in last step i m not able to see Master Rule collection .
Portal Content > Portal Administrators > Super Administrators > Master Rule Collection.
how m able to see this and what r the other steps required for creating desktop.

In your Rule you "Add IF Expression"
IF -> User = * -> Button Apply
Then -> Portal desktop = <Your Desktop PCD> -> Button Apply
In Main Rule "Add IF Expression" (No Delete de default configuration)
IF -> User = <Your User> -> Button Apply
Then -> Rule Collection = <Your Rule PCD> ->Button Apply
OBS: Take Care of this configuration. First Check this with your user (Not use the Administrator User), if everythink ok, Than you change for a determinate group, user, role.....

Not able to see that particular query which is executed from application

Hi Friends,
I have one application which is executing a number of queries in the current session. I want to know which query is taking how much time?
So I have executed following query in Toad for this purpose, but this is giving details of those queries only which are executed from either Toad or SQL developer.
I am not able to see that particular query which is executed from application. Please suggest me if I am missing something.

Actually I have done little bit research on EM console and go through SQL Monitoring Executions page but did not get the particular query details executed through the application.
I have also checked the link - AWR Baseline but not get any result.
As I am new in database administration activities, Please help me regarding this. You can also suggest me other solution except Oracle EM console.
