This one of the options we had explored, but it would be better if we can get the report by work center. The focus is to reduce the effort to get the report as there is need to get the same report for atleasr 8to 10 different group of work centers ( which are not in serial nos).
We would then need to put the work centers in the filters & save the layout.

I have an issue of selecting text in the PDF, where a part of the text is not getting selected and the remaining part is getting selected. The case I have mentioned here uses a Small caps font where SmallCaps is applied through the Indesign application and not the actual Small Caps font being used. I am able to select the text when PDF is created through Postscript File from InDesign. When Directly exported from InDesign I face this issue. Please see the highlighted word "COMPEMENTARY ACCOUNTS" in the below screenshot from the InDesign document.

Let me see if I understand what you're doing. You create an InDesign document, export it to PDF, and then try to select some amount of text in the PDF. Is that correct? Which program are you using to open the PDF?

Are you using Distiller, or opening the PS file in another app like Preview or Acrobat?

COOIS report: not able to select operations based on work centers

Hi All,
When accessing the COOIS report using operation listv& selecting the std profile.I need to get the operation perfomred on specific work center.
I enter the work center & plant code in the selection fields available in the "select at operarion level" & i get the all the work center.
Need to get list of operation performed at the entered work center.
The requirement is due to the reason that a order is performed in two or three production facilities & production guys needs to look at operation list for given work centers.

Not able to disable submit crash report since the box gets checked automatically.

I uncheck the box of'' submit crash reports'' and click OK. When I check it (Tools - Options), the box is checked again automatically.

Problem fixed -- found info in another thread. Needed to clear the print cache.

Not able to view Stamps in all .pdfs

I'm not able to consistently view stamps in pdf's I have to review, both directly on the browser and on the application.
Before understanding stamps were an Adobe feature, I uninstalled and installed different version of Java (currently 1.6.0_41), Internet Explorer (currently IE8). When I understood it was Adobe, I installed the latest version (11.0.2), but still it does not show in all pdf's. I have Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bits SP1.
I know stamps are in a certain pdf because a colleague of mine can see them displayed once he opens the file. Opening the exact same file, I don't see them. On another pdf, I can see stamps. The only difference I find between both pdf's, is that the one where I can see stamps is "PDF Version: 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)", and the one I can't is "PDF Version: 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x)".
Is there any Acrobat compatibility plug-in I'm missing? What can be the reason?

I faced same kind of problem some time back & found JInitiator as the cause. Try unintalling older Installation of JInitiator & reinstall it & it should work.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Sync works the same way it always has, connect the device, select the content desired to sync and sync.
All the media should be in iTunes already, iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
If this is a new computer, move the content from the old computer to the new computer.

How about field Distribution Channel and Division?
I am afraid some of these fields still not properly
set/transported to CRM.
In R/3, this BP has maintained under same Sales Area
which mapped in CRM Org Model right ?
What is role in CRM when you open the BP?
Have you check if there is any error in middleware
when downloading BP data to CRM?

Not able to convert word file to PDF using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard

Hi,
I am not able to convert word file to PDF using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard. When I try to convert, it starts the process and in between I am getting this prompt, as shown in figure below and the conversion process stops. The PDF is not created.
Note: The filename 'Acr85.doc' in the above prompt keeps changing and is random.
I tried clicking Yes, No and Cancel on the above prompt, but the conversion process just stops and PDF is not getting generated.
I am able to create PDFs from web pages. No issues with that. Not working only with Word.
Can someone help me with this.

In MSWord please changes the settings as "Adobe PDF" menu => "Change Conversion Settings" goto Tab Bookmark and clicks the option Convert Word Bookmarks. Now you convert the Doc to PDF you can achieve the Bookmark.

Not able to select images in iphoto 8????

Since I've installed iphoto 8, I'm not able to select my pictures as I did with iphoto 6. When adding images through yahoo mail for example, I was able to before locate my iphoto folder, and it would give me a drop list of all the pictures. With iphoto 8, all I see is "iphoto library" and its faded out and I can't select it.
Does anyone know if this is just the way iphoto 8 works, or is there a way to fix this. The only solution I have found, is I have to copy the pictures on to my desktop and then select them from there.

what's your os? if you have xp, you should try sp2...that fixed the problems i was having with my card when i upgraded...try telling windows to go to 5. sound through the sound devices in control panel and then go back to surrmixer and see if that works...

Not able to select a row in ALV in Webdynpro

I have developed a webdynpro application and I have declared component usage for SALV_WD_TABLE.
The data gets displayed in the ALV, but always the first row is selected.
When I try to select another row,I am not able to select.

I am enhancing a standard e-recruiting WD ABAP component.
It produces a search result as ALV.
I am not able to select any row in ALV by clicking it like we normally do in ALV.
I wrote below code to allow selection:

Or you can take a attribute READ_ONLY for the node to which ALV table is bound.
Set the readonly property to abap_false (for input field) by looping through the table.
Get the column references and get the textview reference for each column and use the set_read_only
method by passing the attribute name.
This way the textview will now become the inputfield when the read_only property is set to abap_false.
