Not able to sync since I upgraded.

Hello.
Ever since I upgraded to iCloud, my calendars in iCal have not been able to be synced to my iCloud (Mobile Me) since 10/14/2011.
I receive the following error message: "The server responded with an error. The connection with server ical.me.com has been closed. Try again later."
I tried changing the server address to ical.icloud.com but that server does not seem to exist. I am ready to upgrade to Lion but I want to make sure all my calendars are up to date in "the cloud" before I start.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I just figured out the print quality issue for my wife with her new iMac and new printer.
She replaced both at once and she couldn't understand why her Artisan 730 was lower quality then her Epson R280 when they had the same specs.
Turns out the newer printer had the option to connect via wifi which we used during setup.
The driver options are completely different depending on how you connect.
Once I connected via USB the correct options were available and the print quality was better.
Looking at the R2400 it dies not have wifi, but while researching the problem for my wife someone esle was having an issue updating to the latest printer driver.
If you go into the print utility from the Printer and Scanner system preference and under the general tab you should have driver 5.5.
One user had to delete the old printer driver before Software Update loaded the newer printer driver.

On my MacBook Pro (w Snow Leopard) I always had to reconnect my wifi at home when it woke up. I upgraded my router from an old Netgear to a newer N D-Link and stopped having to do that.
I would be surprised you would have that problem with an Airport Extreme, you might check to see if there is a firmware update for it.

I have a current (extensive) itunes library established years ago with an ipod classic. My email address, etc. has changed many times since then and I am not able to sync my music from my itunes to my iphone 5c. I'm sure it's due to a different email address/apple ID. How can I get them to sync so as not to have to re-purchase all of my music and podcasts?

The extensive itunes libary that was on an ipod classic likely as not came from an itunes library. The music that is on the itunes library will sync to an iphone once the iphone has been authorized through the itunes store. If it is as you say that all this music came from an 'itunes library' then there should not be an issue syncing this music to an alternate device.
If on the other hand this music came from multiple itunes libraries. It will then be a matter of logging in with each apple id login which was used when purchasing the songs to then re-downloading the songs to that specific apple id login. Once you have purchase music from the itunes store using an apple id login the music then follows the apple id virtually indefinately.

Is this a brand new phone? If it is, which iTunes version does it say it requires (see side of box)?
With a Mac running 10.5.8 you can install the last version of iTunes 10.6

An older iPhone 4S should work with the above but if it is a brand new one I don't know. If the box says it requires iTunes 10.7 then you will have to upgrade to OSX 10.6.8 at least in order to run iTunes 10.7. You provide no information about your computer hardware so I can't tell you if this is even possible.
1) Make sure your computer meets Snow Leopard technical specifications - http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575 This mostly means making sure it is an Intel Mac and has at least 1GB RAM (more is recommended). To check RAM, go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac". Now continue to "More Info...". It should say you have at least 1GB of "memory".
2) Apple no longer carries 10.6 in its stores or online. Telephone Apple to purchase a Snow Leopard disc. In the USA: (800) 676-2775 (contact information for other countries: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57)
Alternatively you can buy from online retailers but anticipate paying much more than the original price which is the price still charged by Apple
3) Backing up your computer before upgrading is always a good idea.
4) After installing from the DVD, update your Snow Leopard installation using Software Update or manually downloading and installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v.1.1 - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399

C3-00 v4.60 not able to sync to OVI

I have WIFI at home (and several other places) but not a data plan through my cell provider. In WIFI areas I've been able to set up OVI email and eventually also get the communications app to connect to my gmail account (after dozens of attempts). I can also browse the web with the Opera app and can also browse the OVI store. I would like to be able to sync my C3-00 calendar with a web based system for faster data entry and so I can share access with select others. I would prefer to use a non-proprietary system like gmail, but I have set up the OVI web based calendar since I don't seem to be able to sync to the gmail calendar. However, I am not able to sync to the OVI calendar either. After following some setup instructions I found on the Nokia/OVI web sites, when I go to Settings->Sync & backup->Sync with server->Server Sync it prompts "Synchronize data with ovi.com ovi.com? Calendar, Contacts, Notes" (yes it lists ovi.com twice) but it never works and says "Data transfer not possible. Check data connection." Can anyone please let me know how to fix this problem? Also, is it possible to sync to gmail calendar? If so, where are the instructions?

I am experiencing the same problem. What I think is happening is that the 'server sync' function always uses GPRS or Edge, instead of Wi-Fi, no matter how much convincing you try.
I have seen some postings that say you need to remove all data packet access points from the phone configuration. So far I haven't see how that's done though....

i was replaced my iphone 5 due to camera problems,
then i cant gte my itunes match on my new iphone 5 again,
all the music are gone, and not able to sync,
also, i tried to disable and enable over and over again the service on my iphone, still not able to do that,
forced power rebooted, problem is not solved...

After the first install of iOS8 my iPhone5 locked up with a picture of a cord connected to a device linking to iTunes. After taking my iPhone5 to the Apple Store, an Expert was able to get my phone operational again. However, when I returned home I found I no longer had options in iTunes to SYNC or BACKUP my iPhone5. I suspect that ITunes does not recognize my IPhone any longer. For the past 1.5 years I have no problems updating or syncing my iPhone…it was only after I upgraded to iOS8 last week.

No, you're not alone. Same behavior here since upgrading my 3g to OS4:
Every time I turn on the check mark at the check box for "Sync notes with Outlook" and choosing "Use" the check mark disappears so the following sync process is working without notes syncronisation.
I tried several things without results. Are there any ideas in the meantime?

ITunes will not shut off. Since I upgraded the software, itunes opens no matter what program I am using and when I close it , it will just reopen over whatever I am using. this is very annoying!!!!

This is probably occuring because your Mac is attempting to wirelessly sync with a device. Try unchecking the checkbox that reads "Open iTunes when device is connected" (this option can be found under the general page of iTunes when you have a device connected).

I am facing issues with my music on my iOS device. I have five devices connected to my apple id. And out of which a Windows Machine and iPhone is not able to sync the purchased songs on the the Windows machine and the iPhone.

Because rest of the devices are synced to MacBook and they are able to sync the content normally. I have even subscribed to iTunes Match but the problem is still not fixed.

Firstly... a little Clarity...
Devices refer to iDevices... iPod... iPhone... iPad. .. Not Computers.
Authoriation applies ONLY to Computers... of which there is a Limit of 5 per Apple ID.
If the issue is with iTunes on your Windows Computer... Perhaps you need to Re-install iTunes...
