Not able to trigger the Leave Request Workflow from EP

Hi,
There is a problem that I am getting as follows and I need an urgent help :
I am using the Leave Request Workflow WS20000081 in R/3 4.7. The problem that I am getting when I login as "A" who is a boss of "B" and got the mail in inbox in corresponding workflow for Approve or Reject the Leave Request. Now when I "Approve" the Leave Request from R/3 Inbox, then the workflow move for the processing, but if the same Leave Request is to be "Approve" from EP having either the SAP Transaction iView or IAC iView, it doesn't process the Workflow further neither for Approval nor for Rejection. And the workitem remains as such in EP Inbox.
Can someone tell me what to do so that it will trigger from EP too.

Hi,
If u have no authorization, even the job log finishes the request won't be deleted.
Once chk the log step by step.....to have some more inf reg authoriations...
Or once goto RSRQ and give the request no there and chk the status of the request whether it is deleted or not?
Atlast try to log-off and refresh the session completely and try.

Manager is not able to Approve the leave

Dear Freinds,
Please help me in solving this below issues.
EE has applied for leave thro ESS. Manager have recd a confirmation from Work flow system . But the same is not reflecting in Manager MSS . Therefore he is not able to approve the same . However, Manager is able to approve the leave for others.
I cheked in PO13 and the realationship and dates are perfect. Can anyone tell me what could be the reason.
IS there any T-code to check the Email communication that both had.

Please check the workflow log in the system using transaction SWI1 for the date on which the EE has applied for leave,
check the Agent assigned for approving the leave by clicking on the Agent button - confirm that this is the same manager.
Also this is assuming that in MSS under the UWL other employees leave requests are visible,
so as to eliminate portal side issues.

Not able to open the existing PDF files from Content Server in VL02N

Hi All,
In Delivery transaction VL02N, we are not able to open the PDF file attachments which were created in the Past (Ex. 01/01/2014) from the Content Server. Recently upgraded to Enhancement Pack 7 and not sure whether the issue is due to this upgrade.

Employee not able to view the Leave/Absence Types

Hi experts,
I have done the settings of Workflow with leave types in table V_T544S_WEB with grouping 40 against the leave type.
Workflow task iD is TS21500004.
The User Grp is set to 40.
But when the empolyee checks system shows no data available .

I hope you are using the standard workflow id and you have assigned the same to the rue group and absence type in table VV_T554S_WEB.
But for the absence to be displayed check the table VV_PTARQ_TCONSTR_LIST and the settings against the rule group.
Also you can check the applied leave and the status in the Create Leave Request application - Overview of Leave tab. There is another application Leave Overview where also you can check the status of the applied leave.

Not Able to Update the PSA Request.

Hi All,
I am facing one Problem I am having 10 requests in my PSA.9 requests are updated in to my Data Target but last 10th request is having some erroneous records which I didnu2019t notice that error records next day I have seen the error request in PSA then I have corrected those erroneous records. Now I am not able to update this request to my data target.
When I went through the PSA manage tab there I have selected the erroneous request and when I press the button Update with Scheduler that is going to the Info Package Screen there I am not able to see my data target. When I start the info package its giving error (Data Target is not defined)
My data target is contain the Aggregates is there any issue with the Aggregates.
Any one please advise on this how to update this error request.

check your authorization, it seems you have only loading authorization not deleting.
creat one more infopackge and select PSA and datatarget option try loading using this infopackage.

Not able to compress the init request for non cummulative cube

i'm not able to compress request for stock init( for some plants) in non cummulative cube with a marker update the job is cancelled when I see the log it is showing no. of sql lines
and job terminated.
what may be the cause of the problem

You need to restrict the number of the request that you are going to compress for every job. Try also to enlarge TableSpace, in particular the temporary TableSpace, that you can subsequently reduce.
Consider that any other job, like query from user or other uploads, reduce the speedof the compression.

Leave request workflow from R/3

Hi Experts,
                We have implemented workflow for HR Time management (leave request) with ESS and MSS configuration.The workflow Template number is WS12300111,which works on the class concept.It works from portal side i mean ESS and MSS,the same workitem which is available in R/3 too,when tried to execute throws and information message that this cannot be started from Business workplace.
                My requirement is to start this from R/3 too,kindly suggest solution .

Hi Lokesh
   You cannot use the workflow template WS12300111 for R/3 use. Its only for ESS/MSS use. If you have the requirement for applying the leave through R/3 which T-code you will use. what all the data to be filled to trigger the workflow. Ask your functional. As per i know WS12300111 cannot be used for R/3 use. If you have the requirement to trigger from R/3 which t-code will be used and need to use triggering event and create new workflow template.

Not able to trigger the idoc

Dear All
i need to trigger idocs from ECC6 to PI system, but it throws a message that destination port does not exists. both the RFC destinations are created and tested successfully ( could able to login remotely after testing)
ECC 6:
Logical System : T90CLNT090
RFC Destination : PI7CLNT001
Port : HIDDU
Partner Profile : PI7CLNT001
PI 7.1 :
Logical System : PI7CLNT001
RFC Destination : EC6CLNT800
Port : SAPECC
i went into the transaction we02 selected the idoc.. and edited the port and partner type and tried to trigger.. but "destination port "SAPECC" does not exists...
do i need to edit the IDOC in programme level, if yes, steps to edit the IDOC

Hi,
you need to pass the port of the SAP ECC created in the idoc i.e port should be HIDDU and not ECC..
Check at the partner profile parameters that the port assigned is HIDDU and rfc desination should be PI7CLNT001..
this needs to be handled at the partner profile configuration /distribution model only...
but not via programme...
Before this ensure that connections created are working fine (both connection and authorisation tests)..

    Iam calling a WF from a BSP application by using the FM

for this fucntion module iam passing a table to the parameter
X_CONATINER = t_values
but I am a bit confused that how this table is assigned to the workflow conatiner.
what I want to know is I need to assign the values of t_values to the WF conatiner elements .

Not able to Remove the ZEN 20GB Safely from compu

Hi All
When i connect my Zen 20Gb to my comp win xp sp2, it gets detected and i am able to get a new icon under removable dri've and am able to save data's in the Zen's dri've but when i want to disconnect it from the comp, i right click on the usb icon on system tray and click on safely remove the device, i select usb mass storage ZEN ( F: ) and click on stop, now it comes with an error msg that some application is still in use, i am sure i have closed all application and none are running, it happened y'dsday also, and i get the icon on the zen which says do not disconnect, finally i have to shut down the pc to remove the device why so, what could be the reason

It's important to shut down every program at least. There are tasks like Explorer though that shouldn't be shutdown ideally, and of course Explorer is one of those programs that might well have its hooks into the player. Again though, as long as you're not actually using it then you can most likely disconnect safely.
If the worst comes to the worst then just shut down the PC. You know it's not using it then!

Not able to access the native c code from servlet

I want to call c function from servlet using JNI . I created the .so file and gave the library path . But when i try to load the library it says "Unsatisfied link error ". I am using tomcat on linux .. any more setting has to be done in order to call native code from servlets ?

Not able to pass the BEx date prompts from liveoffice

Dear Team ,
Environment : BI 4.1 SP3 ,Dashboards 4.1 Sp3 and Live office 4.1 SP3 .
Bex query has date range variable ,we built dashboard with Live office .Issue is we are failing to pass date variables from dashboard .To pass 1- March -2015 , We tried with 20150301 ,[20150301] ,01.03.2015 ,03.01.2015 ,01/03/2015 and so on .It shows L00 error .
Please share your toughts/expertise .

Leave request Workflow WS12300111 not working

Hello All,
We have ESS/MSS portal and ECC6.0. I have started with pilot ESS leave request project
When i create the leave request from ESS, i am getting message ' The leave request has been sent.'
Evne i am able to the see the task in UWL(MSS) in tracking tab. But if log in as a manager to approve the leave request, its not displaying the task. I have checked the workflow, its getting stuck. Then i have checked leave process(test application) in R/3 alone in transaction PTARQ. I have given my person number and mode 'R'. Its throwing error message " No document created : HRTIM_ABS_REQ 124 conflict with absences/relocation (IT2001/0330)
But i have customized workflow properly in 1. SWU3 ; all are green except guided procedures
                                                                      2. Maintained the WS12300111 in workflow template for all
                                                                      3. Request have to approved
                                                                      4. task is generated
                                                                      5. line manager as agent (OM maintained properly)

Hi ,
I have changed the pernr ,date and working fine now.Moreover task is also general. But the workflow started but stuck in the step 'Approvel Process.
Its stops at Node number 38 . I have checeked the step history :
Green (Sub)workflow created
Green Background Processing Started
Green Execution started
Green Error Message Created for Admin
Red    Exception occurred Error handling for work item 000000390153
I just want to execute the leave request workflow from PTARQ, keeping as me as requestor and approver. If its success , i want to test with ESS. But now its stuck in R/3 test itself. Please help.
