Not able to type body/subject in the mail ?

Brand new iphone bought for Christmas. I start at Home where the mail app is at the bottom, I can write in the email address I want to send, but when I go to the body the key pad isn't showing up. (I'm using Yahoo email)
Is it because I don't have a texting plan? or I don't know how to press it correctly? or what is it, is the phone broken? Please help.

I would be inclined to connect your iPhone up to your computer and in iTunes click on your iPhone then click Restore. Assuming you have done that and that your iPhone's software is up to date then if it still doesn't work properly I would suggest that the best thing is to get it swapped out.

I understand that Apple just opened up iCloud Drive to be able to access your documents or anything within your iCloud account. I like the feature of being able to access docs from Pages, Keynote, and other apps. However, it's unfortunate that I simply cannot access my iCloud Drive from the Mail app. Is there a step that I'm missing to access my documents via iCloud Drive within the Mail app? I am trying to authenticate at Filevault preboot using external Serial (RS232) to USB convertor where USB port is connected to my mac machine.But on preboot I am not able to type the password using console where my machine is connected.

I am using an external keyboard which is actually a Device KeyAT who do the keyboard simulator kind of operation over Serial (RS232) to USB connector.
I have a controller machine connected with Serial Port and MAC machine is connected by a USB port to that device.
I am able to type the password on OS X login screen but on using the same device and set up on Filevault preboot I am not able to type the password.
This connector is detected as a USB 2.0 composite device in System Hardware table.
Can someone hints or point out a potential cause or to rectify this issue.

So the menu bar reads iChat, File, Edit, View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ? (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
Type in:-
~/Library/Preferences
Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

Not able to type a password when trying to create a domain

Hi,
I am trying to create a domain and in that wizard, in Administrator name and password for weblogic user, I am not able to type the password. Whatever I type it doesn't get reflected in the UI . if I press Next button Error comes as password is mandatory. I am using Linux OS.
P.S. I am able to type in Name and description fields.

Password Field Not Editable in Domain Template on Linux

On Linux, when creating a new domain using a developer template in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Configuration Wizard, the password and confirm password fields are not editable, and you cannot enter a password to create a domain.
Workaround: Do one of the following:
To work around the issue each time it occurs: Click the close window "x" button in the upper right corner of the Configuration Wizard. In the confirmation dialog that appears, click "No" to return to the Configuration Wizard. Now you can enter the password and confirmation password.
To fix the issue permanently:
Kill a scim processes. For example, kill "pgrep scim"
Modify (or create) the file ~/.scim/config to include the following line:
/FrontEnd/X11/Dynamic = true (follow case sensitivity)
If you are running VNC, restart the VNC server.
Run the Configuration Wizard again.

The change between Firefox 3.6.* and Firefox 4 is how location bar search works. In Firefox 3.6 it uses Google "Browse by name" search. With the browse by name search, it performs a Google search and if there is a clear match it will take you to the site, otherwise it shows the Google search result. With Firefox 4 it just performs a Google search if you type something which is not recognised as a URL.
To get the Firefox 3.6 behaviour on Firefox 4 you need to change a hidden preference.

V490 server not able to type at ok prompt

Hello Guyz
The problem is that when I power on the server with max diag post it will drop at ok prompt with all post result passed. But I am not able to type anything at ok prompt. Input device & Output device are set to ttya when checked from os console. Since autoboot parameter is true it will boot automatically when i do a normal power on. RSC is not configured and I am not getting anything on it. Also graphics card not available in server.Troubleshooting steps done till now.
1. Powered on server in normal mode and with disk drives removed. It will stop at ok prompt with error cant boot. But not able to type anything.
2. Replaced PCI riser card which includes NVRAM.
3. Tried powering on the server with all minimum configuration possible still no luck.
4. Swapped the only one system board to other one and checked.
My seniors suggested to replace system board. What you guys think? Please help. Thanks..

Historically, USB-to-serial adapters will often just fail to function in such circumstances.

I suggest you go beg, borrow, or claim by eminent domain an old computer that has an actual hardwired serial port and try again.
I know. All this shouldn't be that hard, and it's frustrating. It should "just work".

After the battery drains to 0% the computer switches off.... *Makes sense*
Once I put the charger power chord back in for an extended period of time I hit the power button and then see the login screen.... *Makes sense*
However it won't let me type into the login box therefore having to force a restart and lose any saved data or data open when it died of battery. *WEIRD*
This happens every time my computer runs out of battery. I understand that obviously not letting the laptop die is a good idea, however it seems like there is something wrong as it allows me to login yet won't let me type anything...
Any solutions? Anyone else experience this?

Known bug. Quit the Camera App, double-tap the home key and delete Camera from the recent apps bar. Fire it up again, should be good.

Many people are having probalems with this right now. The only solution I've seen that seems to consistently work is the one posted by Brackers28 here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23020591#23020591. This only works if you still have access to your old email account. If you don't, you'll have to have Apple help you reset the password for your old account so you can turn off Find My iPhone and sign into your account with your correct ID.
