Not able to update any apps from new apple id.. Old id im not using anymore., cannot access the old one.. But during update time asking for same old password of old apple id

If you change your Apple ID, all the apps you purchased with the previous ID will no longer updatable for you and this problem will continue. You see your old Apple ID because you are likely still using some of the apps purchased on that ID.

    If your device is signed into an old ID of yours that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
    If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID.  If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
    Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.)  Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID).  Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library).  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

    If you are... and have a Valid Payment Method associated with your account...

    I am trying to update apps on my ipad2 but not able to do so . Every time I click on an app to update it says unable to download app followed by the options "done" and " retry ." moreover some of the app icons I am clicking on just flash but the apps do not open .

  • Not able to download any apps from Application Manager

    I have no idea what's going on, but I cannot download anything from the CC.  Application Manager opens and give me all the options of what to download, but everything is giving me an error.  I went and followed the steps and uninstalled everything but redownloading still doesn't work.  Below is an example of the error I'm receiving Any help would be appreciated.

    After going through a lot of the forums and following what I thought was the proper process (downloading the CC Cleaner & going in and manually deleting the files on my Mac) I am now getting the following message when trying to install Photoshop.

    Settings>General>Software Update is currently only available for IOS 5 and above.
    If your are using IOS 4, you need to connect to iTune (computer) to update software

    It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

    Okay - let's cut to the chase...
    If the Menu Bar (File, Edit... Help) shown in my screenshot below is not visible, use CTRL+B to display it. Then click on Help/Check for Updates. If one is available, you will be able to select it at this time.
    Note the item at the bottom of the list; About iTunes. Selecting that will show you which version of iTunes you are using.
    An alternative method to display the Menu Bar is click on the box in the top left of your iTunes window...
