Not able to update MARM using MATMAS03 iDOC
Hi, We are trying to update UOM fields (LAENG etc) in MARM table using iDOC MATMAS03. We are sending iDOCs from Business Objects Data Services. The iDOC is loaded successfully but it is not getting posted correctly. I don't get any error message but I just get warning message that "The data for the maintenance status S cannot be transferred.".
When I look into MARM table then record is not updated.
We tested same iDOC to update MARA table and we can do updates in MARA without any issue. Problem is with MARM table.
I don't think this is Data Service issue so I am posting this in ABAP forum. Please feel free to move to right forum.

I have several questions/points to make.
1. Do not send / for fields that are to be ignored. IDocs do not work the same as batch input session.
2. Are you entering X in the check box structure? Material Master/Article Master have check box segments that correspond to a regular segment. For example if you enter a value in field LENGTH of segment E1BPME1MARM, then you need to enter an X in the field LENGTH of segment E1BPME1MARMX.
3. Are you using the correct IDoc type? What is the industry-specific solution of your system? I have experience on the retail system which uses IDoc type ARTMAS03 (for article master). This IDoc type uses segments E1BPE1MARART, E1BPE1MARARTX, E1BPE1MAKTRT, E1BPE1MAKTRTX, E1BPE1MARMRT, E1BPE1MARMRTX, etc.
4. Is the port and partner profile set up correctly? Check with your basis consultant.

Arun.Always check the ET_MESSAGES when calling the update. If there are "A" type of messages, it's not going to update. If there are "E" type of messages, depending on your "SAVE" or "HOLD" flag, it might not update either.

Not able to update the project using 'BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN'.
I want to create a project , with reference to an already existing project.
I am using 'BAPI_PROJECT_GETINFO' to get the data of the existing project.
The bapi gives the following:
1) e_project_definition.
2) e_wbs_element_table.
3) e_wbs_hierarchie_table
I am passing the u2018e_project_definitionu2019 to 'BAPI_PROJECTDEF_CREATE' to create project.The project is created successfully.
But I am not able to update the project with u2018e_wbs_element_tableu2019
and u2018e_wbs_hierarchie_tableu2019. I am using 'BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN' to update the project.
The program is not giving an error, but it is also not updating the E_WBS_ELEMENT_TABLE and E_WBS_HIERARCHIE_TABLE.
I am attaching the code below.

But i see one issue with your coding, always check the return table message type and use commit work, instead of sy-subrc check. This fails for BAPI's -

Apps can only be updated using the same Apple ID and password they were originally purchased with.

In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes, sync and see if it is working now.

Hello, I am not able to download itunes 10.5 on my dell laptop. It says to try to download separately and then install. However, an error message still comes up. Due to this, I am not able to update any applications. I am using windows vista. If I reinstall itunes entirely, will I loose my many playlists that I have? And will this effect the same playlist that I have on my ipod???
Installing, and uninstalling, applications never touches or removes the data.
Clean out and uninstall all the apple programs and software thru Programs and manually.
Might want to use Revo and CCleaner
I always use manual standalone installers (and keep a couple backup versions)
itunes 10.5 may affect iTunes media playlists, not sure, depends on what you have.
A search of these forums will show some threads.
I'd clean up vista, you need SP2 or later, and specific error message?
I wonder as you arenot the first with a dell if maybe the OS or included software.
Security programs like Norton and older versions of Kaspersky have been implicated.
Also settings in IE that affect pop-ups and plug-ins. -

If you change your Apple ID, all the apps you purchased with the previous ID will no longer updatable for you and this problem will continue. You see your old Apple ID because you are likely still using some of the apps purchased on that ID.

I'm having the same problem as maujmasti.
After upgrading my iphone 3gs to ios 6.1.6 my wifi connection stopped working. When the network requires a password it displays a message that the password is incorrect and when it's an open network it says that it wasn't able to connect.
I formated my iphone in attempt to fix the problem. It worked for a while but a few days later I could not connect anymore. The weird thing is that the wifi connection started to work again for another day or two but after that it stopped for good.
When I tap on the blue arrow beside the wifi name, all the spaces are blank (IP adress / subnet mask / router / DNS ...).
I've tried a lot of things that I read on the forum and nothing works.
I could try to format my phone again but the problem is that I can't do an iCloud backup, not via wifi neither via iTunes. -

I have an ipad2 that has ios4.3.5 that I'm trying to update to iOS 6. I'm not able to update because of unidentifiable apps. I'm assuming that these are apps I tried to get but couldn't open because I needed iOS 5 or higher. These apps are still in my app store always needing updates, but I can't open or update because I don't have iOS 5. If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

If your device is signed into an old ID of yours that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device). -
