I recently bought an iPhone 5c from someone, and I went to activate it at the Sprint store and they said it was still connected to the other guy's account. I can't contact the guy. Please help me, I would like to be able to use this phone...

You will have to contact the "other guy". Otherwise, the current state of the iPhone is "Activation Locked" (described below) and you will never be able to use it.

I opened a new acount in order to keep a set of music purcheses separate from my established account. A clean way to see and manage this set of purchases. The account is not linked to any devices.
When I log in I cannot use to purchase music. The response I get is that it has not been used in iTunes and to review my account info.
I don't know what I did wrong

The iPod's firmware is corrupt. You'll need to restore it again in iTunes. If necessary, place the iPod in recovery mode for iTunes to recognize the device. Use the instructions in this Apple support document to walk you through the process of placing the iPod Touch into recovery mode.

I have a habit of restarting my computer, when things don't work, I find it helps, and sure enough, everything works. Today, it happened again. Does anyone know what is causing this to happen?

Not able to use my money

In iTunes I have an account balance that I am not able to use. I tried to buy different items and it wont allow it, but I can buy "FREE" ones. Is there a min amount that I am requaired to have in my account? OR is there some other reason why I am not able to spend out of my account. I used a 50 gift card and spent all but 6 bucks. Now its requiering a credit card or gift card code. But I still have a balance.

Are you attempting to purchase items from teh iTunes Apps store?
If you ar ein Canada, you cannot use gift card balance to purchase apps.
You can only purchase songs, videos or movies with a gift card.
You need a CC to purchase apps in Canada.

You don't have a copy of it on your backup of your downloads and you've checked your computer's hard drive for it ? What you can re-download will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. Sign out from your pple Id on your Device and Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and then Sign In with your Apple Id here and Under your Primary Email Address click on Resend Next to Verification Email Sent. Now Go to your Email Account and Verify your Apple Id again by clicking in the Link inside the Mail that you might have received from Apple. Now Sign In on your Device and try to make a Purchase and if it is for the first time then you will be asked to Review your Account and if you have entered your Credit/Debit card in your Account then you will have to just Enter your 3 Digits CVV Number and then click on Done. And then you can try downloading any Application from AppStore or Music from iTunes Store and check if its working.

I have a iphone 4 which was purchased in the UK 2 yrs back. I use this phone in india. Since today morning the screen has become unresponsive and i am not able to use the slider to unlock the screen to be able to make or recieve calls or perform any other fuction on my phone. I spoke to apple customer care in india about this problem and they suggested to try restoring the phone which didnt work out. Now they say that I will have to get this repaired in the UK since apple doesnt have apple stores and service centers in India. I think it is some hardware issue. I am not in a position to send it back to UK since i dont have any friends or relatives there in the UK nor i am traveling to the UK at this point in time. Pls help me out and suggest how can i get my phone replaced in India.

I am using an older AirPort Extreme as my base station and I want to extend the range by using a recently purchased AirPort Express. When I try to find either device using the AirPort Utilities function on either my new IPad 4 or my older MacBook Pro neither device is detected. However the utility is seeing that we are connected to the Internet which is through the Extreme. What am I doing wrong?

For now, leave the AirPort Express powered off.
Power off the entire network....all devices.....in any order that you want
Wait a few minutes
Power up the modem first, and let it run 2-3 minutes by itself
Power up the AirPort Extreme next, and let it run a full minute
Keep powering up devices one at a time about a minute apart until everything is powered up (leave the Express off for now)
Open AirPort Utility and check to see if the AirPort Extreme is visible.
If it's not, click the AirPort Utility menu at the upper left of the screen, then click About AirPort Utility. Post back with the version number of AirPort Utility that you see there....which should be AirPort Utility 5.6.1.
