I am not able view full name of external business partner in Lync online meeting.it is showing only First Letter and position title.

It is difficult to find the names please help me, what will be the problem.

Did the issue happen for one partner or for multiple partners?
Did the issue happen for single online meeting with external business partner or for multiple online meetings?
Please update to the latest version for Lync server and Lync client and then test again.
In my Lync environment, on a Lync online meeting which included external federation users, I can see the full name of them.

Sir, your Apple ID can be used as an iCloud account as well. They are both the same thing.

I went to a apple store at South Park, Charlotte NC,
and found out the worst customer service (in my case)
They don't have answers and don't understand about "dont let any customer go away sad or mad"
I explain to them that I did everything they said to fix the problem, even to dounload the iOS 6.1.3
that was supposed to fix the problem.
they said fix the problem in other phones but not in mine.
So here I am with no wifi and bluetooth, with apple technicians and experts that don't know what to do with the problem that the sofware they developed cause in my iphone 4s.
and the solution is for me to pay $199.00 US dollars for a problem that I did not cause.
wich means to buy something else from apple to fix a problem that it is not my fault.

I would like to have an answer from you guys and see if someone there have a better answer for me that shows support, values and integrity as a grest company with solutions for your customers.

Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

BPEXT - External Business Partner Field is cleared in BP Tcode

Making any change in the customer/partner details in XD02 Tcodefor the same customer number, the BPEXT - External Business Partner field is getting cleared in BP TCode as well as from the table BUT000
Please let us know for any SAP Note or workaround through which we can solve this issue.

Please go to TCode SNRO and check if the buffering is active for object BU_PARTNER.
If yes, you should disable it to have a sequential numbering.
Go to Edit menu - set up buffering - no buffering

Sending e-mail twice to External Business Partner

Hi,
   Our system is sending two e-mails to our supplier, one of them with details about his data and another one with user and password.
   Where can I define one e-mail only with both data? Suppplier data and user/password for external Business Partner.
    I configure until now into the SE61 the "PARTNER REQUEST ACCEPTED" message, but still sending two e-mail like I said above.

Not able to delete file from external hard disk

I connected my external hard disk to my macbook pro. But am not able to delete any file since it says the file cannot be deleted when I move it to trash. Could you let me know how to delete a file from the external hard disk?

How is your HDD formatted? NTFS? FAT?
Did you write files with rights? When you strike +I on any file, you can see its rights; if you're read-only, you may change your file's rights.

Not able to write on an external hard drive

I recently bought a external hard drive (Seagate) and formated that to NTFS. I used this to store files from my PC. Recently I bought my iMac, and when I connect the hard drive, it recognized it, but I am not able to transfer files from my iMac to the hard drive. Any suggestions on how I can achieve this?

Mac can't write to NTFS formatted drives.
If the drive is plugged into a Windows PC, you could write to it via file-sharing with Windows, however.

External business partner number generation

Hi all,
Our client has the following requirement:
Business partner numbers must be generated according to certain rules, which cannot be replicated using standard number ranges.
My option is to define a single external number range, and then implement an algorithm that generates BP number. However, I'm not being able to identify where I can make this implementation. I have tried to find a user-exit or a BADI in order to do this, but I wasn't successful.
Can anyone help me identifying an exit or a BADI for Business Partner master data?

To avoid the problem of data loosing, pl setup number ranges as follows:
Menu: SPRO --> Cross-Application Components → SAP Business Partner → Business Partner → Basic Settings → Number Ranges and Groupings → Define Groupings and Assign Number Ranges
Maintain both internal numbers and external number ranges here. The external number range should correspond with the R/3 vendor number range. Then you will not have a problem of data loosing.
You have another configuration point in SRM that enable you to define number range by backend for PO, RS and RQ.
Please read the configuration help taht give you an example in transaction SPRO.

We have implemented a BADI to prevent vendors of certain acct. group from rpelicating to SRM from R/3. Now we want to change the number range of business partner in SRM, which is external no. range. I want to confirm can we delete the external no. range and create a new external no. in SRM under the navigation, will it cause any side effects. SPRO->cross apllication->SAP Business partner->Busniess partner ->number ranges and groupings.
Preste no. range is
400000 - 600000 (PO) external
700000 - 1000000 (XI) external
I want to delete the PO no. range and create a no. range for XI which will look like:
400000 - 1000000 (XI) external.

Updation of Organizational name changes in Business Partner

Hi group,
I need one clarification from anyone of you.It is regarding the updation of the Organizational changes made in "maintain Organization" (PPOMA_CRM) transaction (in Basic Data tab)in Business Partner (BP) transaction.
For some organizations, it is working fine but for smoothers it is not.I have tried that both in Quality and Production systems. Actually I have to update this in Production system.
I could not get why it happening so??
I came to know that it is an SAP bug..
Has anyone of you ever encountered this problem??
If So, could you please suggest me something about this??

Changes are only possible from PPOMA_ORG and BP gets automatically data, in fact it is not possible to edit the partner in /nBP. Not sure if an execution of program HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE is required after changing basic data, but try this too. Also check if all steps from note 550055 are done.

Why Firefox does not start the Lync online meeting anymore when updated to the version 21.0?

The version 20 worked well. Now the one and only choise is "Get me out of here". I renew the certificate but even "I understand the risks" did not help in the version 21. Now I have to run IE to get the online meeting opened.

Not able to use remote desktop externally on a WRV200

Hello all,
Untill 5 minutes ago I wasn't able to get remote desktop to work from an extern computer to my computer which is wireless connected in our network. It worked from a network computer from the beginning.
I have port 3389 correctly forwarded to my static intern ip address (same way as i did with my ftp server which works properly, so I guess I did it wright)
Just 5 minutes ago I found out that it does work when I enable DMZ (see bottom for DMZ details).. What am I doing wrong? I prefer not to use DMZ since it will automatically forward all internet port requests which arent forwarded to any of the other computers, which makes my computer quite vulnerable, wright? (I am using the win xp firewall, but still)

Edit 2: I have remote desktop excluded in the windows firewall, but thats logic since remote desktop does work from another network computer and with DMZ enabled

The DMZ screen allows one local PC to be exposed to the Internet for use of a special-purpose service such as
Internet gaming and videoconferencing through Software DMZ. Whereas Port Range Forwarding can only forward
a maximum of 10 ranges of ports, DMZ hosting forwards all the ports for one PC at the same time.

Enable the logs on your router. Then try to do remote desktop. It will fail of course. After it does, view the logs, there might be ports listed in the incoming logs that you failed to forward.

Not able to copy data to External Drive

ok so I did do a search on this problem, but i started a new thread b/c I think i may be having a slightly different issue...please hear me out..
I have a Macbook, running Mac OS X Tiger (version 10.4.11). I have had a 500 GB external HD (MyBook) hooked up to it (via USB) for the past 4 months or so, never really had any issues, was always able to transfer files, no problem.
However, today i suddenly ran into some serious problems. I tried to transfer some pictures to the external drive and after copying 200 or so files it gave me an error, said a specific file could not be transferred (specifically it said "the Finder could not complete the operation because some data in "IMG_3435.JPG" could not be read or written. Error Code - 36 "). At first I thought maybe that specific file was corrupted or something but i checked it out and it looked fine. So I then I tried transferring another folder of pictures, and then I got the same error right away (after transferring 3 files), for a different file. And now i'm at the point where I can't transfer ANY files to my external HD anymore! (T_T). And it's weird, when i transfer folders, it will transfer the folder itself but not the files. Strange..
I'm so confused because it was all working fine before for months, and now, it all of the sudden doesn want to copy files to the external drive. (?)
my question is, what is the problem here? What are my options for solving this? is it my external drive, or is something wrong with my MacBook? Space is not an issue here, as there is plenty of space on external drive for the files to be copied. And I NEED to transfer files from my Macbook to an external drive because my MacBook HD is going to fill up any day now (currently have 3.5 GB free on a 74 GB HD...my macbook is about 2 years old).
Oh and i should mention, i just checked and the formatting for the external HD (the Mybook) is MS-DOS FAT 32. It currently has about 350 GB free. In another thread about this problem w/ transferring files, someone mentioned external hd's with MS DOS FAT 32 not being ideal for use with Macs, and recommended reformatting it. I just not sure if I should do this right away though, because my husband uses the external drive as well to backup stuff from his PC (so it's not being used exclusively for Macs). However if this is really the only solution then I'll just go out and buy another one to use exclusively for my MacBook and reformat it...

Error -36 = I/O error
I have this similar issue before with my external HD. The worst case is that suddenly my external HD would not connect at all. Mac OS does not recognize the device. I end up reformatting the whole HD to Mac format.
I guess the problem is that Mac is having problem reading and writing to a windows formatted drive. I have a few thumb drive that will only work on windows pc but not Mac. Couldn't reformatting it under Mac either. Weird...

Not able to send workitem to external email id or Lotus notes.

Hi,
I am using standard program RSWUWFML2 to send workitem to external email id like lotus notes. When I execute this program i get the message "Work item xxxxxxxx sent to xxxxxxxxxxx".
As per the documentation of the program, program should process the workitem and send the same to external mail id. Please let me know if i miss something.
Below are the settings i did for program.RSWUWFML2
Job suffix 2
Tasks (blank = all) : task name of the workitem to send is entered. only one task is entered.
New Work item = X
One message per workitem = X
