Not accepting Apple ID and passcode

My ipad 2 is not accepting the Apple ID and the passcode. I'm unable to use the ipad. Can any pls help me in this.

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.
If you purchased this iPad new then return it as soon as possible and demand a refund.

    Don't know how it happens. Have you signed in successfully with your Apple ID in App Store or iCloud? Is your iPad connected to network?
    You should make sure that your iPad is connected to a stable network. And then you should type in the correct Apple ID password.

    I finally went to General/Reset/Reset All Settings    Before I could get it to work. *****. I blame the latest update, but that's just because I have no other significant event on which to place the blame.
    Use case when mine got hosed; in case Apple is reading:  was watching a rented movie.  Paused it for an extended period of time (helping wife with groceries). While I was away it went to screensaver and eventually went to sleep. Upon return, I hit menu to bring it back to life and was greeted with the authentication error.   Bah!

    Are you by any chance using an iPhone app to control the AppleTV? Try using the remote which came with the AppleTV instead. I read a thread yesterday where people using an app couldn't log into Netflix until they discovered that they needed to add a space to the end of the password (when using the app). The same might be true for the Apple ID.

    Depending on what kind of computer you have, you're gonna need to put that backup in the appropriate folder or itunes is not gonna be able to see it for you to use.

    Yeap, that's what I was afraid of. I have a valid card and a valid billing address, I just don't see why they're keeping people like me from using their service, and what the actual roadblock is in getting an iTunes Store for Serbia.

    If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID.  Then you can go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your ID back to the way it was.

    Perhaps you have been given the incorrect user id deliberately.
    If this is the case and the phone won't work, then you are stuffed and there is nothing you can do.  You will never be able to use the phone again, so cut your losses and return it for a full refund and buy a new phone from a legitimate source next time.

    Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

    I am assuming that you are trying to log in with the English language. If this is the case (or any other language for that matter), see if there is a button on the login screen that allows you to change your language.

    Have you tried turning off automatic transitions ? Choose file - project properties and follow the dialogue box to change duration with a slider.  iMovie also doesn't allow a transition to be more than 50% duration of the clip its attached to. In other words if the clip is 4 seconds the transition cannot be more than 2 seconds and remember that relates to the first clip as the following clip (right side) is pulled back to overlay it.
    Does this help.  Perhaps you already know this ?
