Not all calendars displayed when try to accept invitation
I am trying to accept a calendar item sent via email but the calendar I want to accept it into is not displayed. how do i fix this?

I can not change the display when I move the ipad from horizontal position to vertical positionHave you got a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If so, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can lock rotation either by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. If there is no lock symbol then try a reset and see if rotates after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

When i connect my Vision M to my PC and go into creative Media explorer not all the artists are displayed in the drop down list, i can find them when i go into Creative Media Organizer though..does anyone have any suggestions as to why this would be

Not all calendar entries sync with icloud
Because Mavericks no longer allows you to sync Outlook calendar entries directly to iOS devices, I've started using the Mavericks calendar. But not all of my calendar entries sync to iCloud and I don't know why. If I make a calendar entry in Calendar it syncs to iCloud.com just fine. If I make a calendar entry in iCloud it syncs to Calendar on my Mac. But if I send an external invite to my mail account, it creates a calendar entry in Calendar but DOES NOT sync to iCloud.com. I would have expected my local Mac Calendar and my iCloud.com calendar to be identical, but all of my external invites are missing from iCloud.com but present locally. Can anyone explain why? I can't find anything on forum searches similar to this.

My iOS7 calendar on my iPhone 5s continually freezes when I attempt to accept/decline/maybe (respond in general) to any invitations that come through to the device... The main ones I get (so the ones I am experiencing the issue with) are from Microsoft Outlook Exchange Account (also synced through Mail app).
I have attempted to go via the emails I receive with the invitation and the device freezes when attempting to action the request through the Mail app also.
I'm hard reset the phone, I've removed and re-established the account in the phone, but nothing fixes the issue. It might work for one or two invitations, but it will start freezing again without a pattern...
This is a real pain, because these meeting requests etc are for work meetings and interviews!

When an email comes in for a meeting invite if you click on the Date and Time in blue it will walk you through opening the invite in your calendar and then I can Accept/Decline without issue. If you click on the Invitation icon, which seems to be what users intuitively, in the the email then it freezes up the mail app., see image below. -
Images not displaying at their normal size, and not all keywords displaying, why?
Not sure what's going on inside Adobe Bridge CC 2014.1, but why is it that my images are not displaying at full size. Bridge says they're displaying at 100% but I know that's not the case, because when I open the same images in Mac OS Preview (OS 10.10.1 Yosemite) at 100% they're much bigger. Is there a viewing preference setting I'm missing?
Also, I use Bridge and Photoshop on two mac pro desktops: one at my office and one at home.
At work, I created more than 30 keywords in Bridge for several hundred images that reside on my external thunderbolt hard drive. But when I take that hard drive home and connected it to my home mac and then open Bridge, only a handful of keywords appear. I don't see the full list of keywords that I created at work. But in Bridge, I didn't see any option to save or export keywords as a file.
Although the image metadata does appear, because whatever keyword i assigned to an image at work does display on the home mac, I just don't see the entire keyword list.
Can or should Bridge therefore only be used on one computer? Is it not possible to transfer the entire Bridge keyword list from one mac to another?

I've discovered what is causing the problem, but I still need a way to fix it, if possible.
The cause of the problem is that in Windows 7 Control Panel > Display I have set the size of "text and other items" to 150% (otherwise everything is much too small too read on my screen's recommended resolution of 1920×1080).
I discovered that Irfan Viewer was also displaying at the incorrect resolution, but I managed to solve that problem by right-clicking on the IrfanView.exe icon and following Properties > Compatibility and selecting "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".
I tried the same procedure with Thunderbird, but it made no difference. It is still displaying at the incorrect resolution.
Any suggestions?

Filtering in excel - not all options display in drop down list
I have found an issue with the filter drop-down list in Excel 2010. I have now been upgraded (by my employee) to Excel 2013 and same problem still exists.
Problem: I highlight the row containing the column headings; then click on filter (available via the Home tab); then click on the down arrow in the column of interest (in this case "Council Names" column); the drop-down window appears but not all
council names are displayed in the selection list, even though those council names are still in the list. I am aware of the 10,000 option limit with the selection list, but my spread sheet has well under 10,000 rows (unless there is something hidden that I
do not know about).
I have found work-arounds for the problem by searching google for answers to similar problems. I have also spoken to my employee's IT HelpDesk. I will explain the work-arounds I have found below. However, my main concerns now are:
(1) What is the cause of the problem? Is there are better fix that addresses the cause, rather than having to use work-arounds?
(2) Is the issue an indication that the spread sheet has been corrupted in some way? - I need assurance that this is not an indication that the spread sheet is unstable and such problems could multiply or already be existing. (The reason I ask
this is that I had an earlier version of the same spread sheet where the problem did not occur, but it appeared in a later copy - could the copying of the sheet/workbook have caused the problem?)
Workarounds found:
(1) Select the entire sheet, then select the filter button in Home tab
(2) select all the columns manually (click in top left cell and drag down until all data selected), then select filter button
(3) Ensure all rows in the column of interest are filled in, then select filter button

Thank you very much! Yes you are right - I have looked at the Current Region and the Council Names within that region match those in the filter list. The Current Region does not contain the entire sheet.
[By the way - there were some errors in my original post: employee should be employer and in my description of the problem the following should read
"...even though those council names are still in the spread sheet". I assume that this would not change your response?]
Further questions
(1) It is odd, though, that an earlier version of the same spread sheet had a complete list of council names (the current range on this sheet contains all of the required rows of the sheet). How did the current region change between versions (I did not knowingly
do it)?
(2) Does the above mean that the file, workbook or spread sheet is damaged/corrupted in some way? If yes, can this be corrected and how?
(3) In addition to (2) above - what is the safest way to copy an excel workbook to minimise risk/avoid future corruption? [I have been copying and keeping earlier versions, partly for testing reasons, but also as a safety measure for the project as
we are making changes all the time and may decide we wish to go back to the previous version(s)].

Not all services display on Azure Portal (preview)
I've had 2 subscriptions and these show up correctly on manage.windowsazure.com and portal.azure.com
I added a new subscription (bizspark) and had services on one subscription migrated to the bizspark subscription
manage.windowsazure.com shows everything correctly; all my sites, services show up
portal.azure.com does not show my new subscription: its plans, websites, etc do not show up here.
I know that portal.azure.com is under preview, and on top of that, maybe the migration from one subscription to another one left something out; but it seems like there is a bug., so I wanted to report that somewhere....Hi,

Changing printing default so not all calendars are selected to print
When I print with the new version of iCal, all calendars are selected to print by default. Under the "old" iCal (v.2.0.5) only the selected calendar (or calendars) are designated for printing. Is there a way to change the default in Leopard's iCal so that only the selected calendars print?
I have nearly 30 calendars I manage (I know this is excessive but it is a reality in my job) and I generally print only one or two calendars together at a time.Looks like this is indeed a software bug. According to the iCal help:
+By default, the calendars that are currently selected in the main iCal window will be printed. Selecting or deselecting calendars here doesn’t affect what’s checked in the main calendar view; it only affects what’s printed.+
+If you select a calendar group, all calendars in the group are printed.+

Not all calendars represented in reminders
I have seven calendars (currently, 5 of them are checked and shown on the main calendar), yet when I choose which "list" or calendar I'd like a particular reminder to be included in, I'm only given a limited selection of four of my seven calendars. This was not the case with my earlier operating system. Any suggestions?

I see that you are experiencing issues with Calendars in iCould on your MacBook Air. As a preliminary troubleshooting step, you may want to sign out of iCloud then sign back in to see if the issue is resolved:

Not all links work when migrating iweb to ftp
I migrated my iweb site from mobilem to another host and now some of the movie links that I use are not working. Everything else is working like text and photos but the movies I get the quicktime icon in the place for them. What am Idoing

yes, that is in web server mime type configuration.
.mov is a well known file extension and is default to video/quicktime mime type.
mp4 or .m4v extension is rather new, it's mpeg4 layer and not all web hosts config .m4v extension.
you can config it yourself (adding extension to mime type), but if you don't know how you can ask your host to add mime type video/mp4 for .m4v extension.
other file extensions can be used with video/mp4 are: mp4 mp4v mpg4 m4v -
Not all playlists sync when i sync my nano. 3 or 4 are left out for some reason. any suggestions?

Get HTTP/1.1 409 Conflict when trying to accept invite into ical server on Lion

We have setup the iCal server on our lion servers and we just got an invite from a client and this is the error we get when trying to accept the invite. {HTTP/1.1 409 Conflict} I think the invite came from an Outlook system but it is an .ics file. Is there a way to solve this issue?

I guess you have to manual re-deploy your WebApps using wdeploy. Please make note of your changes to the web.xml prior for re- deploying the WebApps.
