Not all my photos are being displayed

To give you an example, we took 350+ photos on our recent trip to Maui. When I try to sync those photos from my Imac to my Iphone, only 54 photos are downloaded. It look like there is plenty of room for all of them. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

This anomaly often has to do with the source of your cover art. If your 15% translates into less than, say, 100 items, then you may consider adding the artwork manually one by one.

Hi Ingo2711, Thanks a million for your reply. That's probably what it is. Now next thing, my iphone will not switch on at all. No water damage or physical damage. I brought to an irepair place and he was first able to see the photos on my phone somehow but when I brought it back to get fixed he couldn't. I have been told by a few people that it may just be the charge port or battery or unfortunately the logic/motherboard. What is my best bet? I'm not able to afford to get it officially fixed if it can be. Any recommendations? By the way, thanks a million.

I assume that you have enabled contacts syncing with iCloud in Settings>iCloud on your devices. If so, and some of your contacts don't appear on icloud.com, open the contacts app and tap Groups. Do you have any non-iCloud accounts listed such as On My iPhone (iPad), Gmail, Yahoo or an exchange account?
Also, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section). Do you have the Default Account setting there, and if so, what is selected as your default account?

Not all lexical parameters are being bound

Reports SQL parser is binding to only 2 of 4 variables. SQL TRACE option confirms this:

This is a report which has previously worked and where the SQL code and the lexical parameters have not changed (but the layout changed slightly). Could this be yet another corrupted .rdf file? If so, how is this circumvented?

The issue has been found and solved.
The SQL code is loaded into a lexiconal variable and run from the query. For example,
:P_WHERE_COURT = 'and cabchck_cort_code = :p_court_code';
This was in the BEFORE_REPORT trigger. It worked.
However, the third and forth lines (with the TO_DATE function call) were not working. In the SQL statement, the functions referenced the :P_DATE fields but they weren't bound.
The date statements were loaded in the same BEFORE_REPORT trigger as the court and location lines. By moving all of the code into the AFTER_PARAMETER trigger, the errors went away and the SQL processed normally.
Why would this move from BEFORE_REPORT to AFTER_PARAMETER have done this?

New version of ITunes installed - Not all music files are being recognized

My system crashed and Itunes was automatically 're-installed.' My music is located on my external hard drive. When I reconnected my music to ITunes about 3000 music files did not appear in my library. Before the re-install all music files were available in the library.
The music files are all still located on my external hard drive. Strangely, when I copied my music on my external hard drive to create yet another back up of my music many music files were missing on the copy. The missing files were a combination of downloaded music from a cd and purchased, no trend.
I welcome any advice on how I can get 1. my ITunes library to read all of my music files (which are in ITunes format) and 2. how do I copy all of my music on my external hard drive to make a safe back up (I-tunes back up is not an option because not all of the music appears in my library)

I tried to restore my phone. The only thing that's stuck is my photos. It says downloading 19 of 277. It's been like that for over two days. I tried to restore it again. I even tried to turn it off and on. Not all my photos are copied onto my computer. :(

This happened to me, it took me 44 hours to restore my photos. I explained everything under a similar question just two days ago. Mine got stuck for six hours on 139 of 811 and again at different places the last was 8:00 last night at 800 of 811, finally completed at 4:00 am this morning. Keep it plugged in, close to your wi-fi, make sure you wi-fi in connected in settings . Keep it in the locked sleeping position and don't use it. Tell everyone not to text or call you for the next 24 hours. If you have to use it don't unplug it, text back or answer the call an then immediately lock it and let it sleeps. When you use it it stops the restore and has to start up again. Hope this helps

Not all my Contacts are being imported to my Verizon Razor Phone

I have configured my phone to connect with my computer via bluetooth and set up a specific group of contacts I would like moved to my cell phone. I had deleted all my phone contacts prior to make sure I was working from a baseline and only 10 of my 95 contacts move to my cell phone and only the first number listed in the contacts is imported.
Any Sugestions?

Then I would guess that they belong to a group that is "selected" for the sync and not the other ones.
Have you explored the advanced sync options by any chance?
I know that you can enable such a function for the calendar appointments (no sync before such date etc.) but for the contacts, I'm not sure.

Why are all my Widescreen ratio being displayed in 4:3?

I just bought my Apple TV and All was well until I synced my photos. All my photos have the dimension of 2592x1944 (jpegs), they're all landscape.
After suncing them to Apple TV, I go to the "Photos" menu and View these photos, they show up with black bars on both left and right side of them, much the same as SD TV shows.
The weird part is that when I turn on "Ken Burns" effect the photos fill the whole screen. ***!
I hope I'm not doing something, because why would I want to see my HD (or Widescreen) photos in a 4:3 ratio? Didn't Steve Jobs in the Keynote say that we want to see out photos in HD on our Widescreen TVs and Apple TV will do that for us?
Can anyone help with this?

I suspect that your photos are being displayed in 4:3 ratio because 2592x1944 is 4:3 ratio.

After all the updates (itunes 10.6, iphone 5.1, and iphoto) all my photos are suddenly being synced with my iPhone.

After deleting files, there does not seem much improvement on the disk space.

I recovered from time machines's backup harddisk
Time Machine may be using the disk space - if you have Time Machine enabled and not the backup drive connected, TM will make local snapshots, if you have free disk space. See Pondini's webpage for more information: Time Machine - Questions 30. What are Local Snapshots?
I disable these local snapshots on my portable macs, to be sure, how much space really is free.

Connect your devices to the computer with the USB cable (one device at a time) and import the photos via iPhoto or Image Capture.
If you have not changed any default settings on your computer, iPhoto will automatically launch when you plug in the device. Then follow the import prompts.

Use iPhoto. What's the problem with iPhoto import? It's a two clicks job. Select your device and click import.

Hi I was doing a back up on time machine to my samsung 1tb exgernal hard drive and now my mac book pro is not recognising my hard drive???? I am devastated as all my photos are on it. Can anyone please help?

Was this your first TIme Machine backup or were you running an update to Time Machine? If the latter then most of your data is probably recoverable from that disk. If not proceed with this emergency recovery. I would not erase the Time Machine backup you already have in case there is data on it you can recover, even if it did not complete. (I don’t know if Time Machine will wok on a partial backup.)
Before proceeding further you should try to secure your data. You are close to losing it (or have lost it) and the instructions below will try to make a copy of it without having to boot the operating system. You will need an external drive which you will erase as part of this procedure.
Boot the recovery partition:
          • Press the power button and as you hear the bong,
          hold down the Command and R keys.
          Once booted, click on Disk Utility.
Format (and erase) the destination recovery disk:
          Plug in the drive you are about to erase.
          Select the volume that is NOT your system disk.
          Click on Partition.
          Pull down under Partition Layout to 1 Partition.
          Click on Options…
          Select GUID Partition Table.
          Name: Emergency Backup
          Format: Select Mac OS Extended (journaled)
          Click Apply.
          Click Partition.
Make a copy of your system disk on the recovery disk:
          Drag and drop the named system disk to Source (often called Macintosh HD):
          Drag an drop Emergency Backup to Destination:
          (Do not reverse these.)
          Click Restore (the lower Restore button).
          Be patient for it to do a full backup of your system disk.
Save the ailing disk/SSD. You might be able to recover data on it buy placing it in an external enclosure. Once the disk is in an external enclosure, if the disk will not spin give it a gentle tap. I have revived several disks that way. If it still won’t spin then bother with the recovery software below.
If it will spin try using DiskWarrior or uFlysoft data recovery.

After Force Quitting, as LarryHN recommended,
Select the iPhoto Library in the Finder. By default it is in your Pictures folder.
Ctrl-click or right-click the iPhoto lIbrary. Select "Show package contents" from the panel, that will pop up.
Look for a folder named "Importing" or "Import". Remove this folder, but don't touch anything else.
Then launch iPhoto again.
If iPhoto now is working again, check the folder you removed, if there are any photos that you want to keep and save them.

iCloud is not downloaded, it is a part of iOS5.
Do you possibly have iCloud and a MobileMe account set up on the device? If so, remove the MobileMe account.
