Not all of my messages are coming through my email????
My computer restarted this morning and now my thunderbird email isn't working properly. Some emails are coming through but when I check emails on my iphone there have been other emails coming through (on my phone) which are not showing up in thunderbird on my computer?? I haven't changed anything, all I did was restart my computer. Help please!!
Not sure what would cause that but you might try setting it up as an Exchange account to see if you have more success, as explained here:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/32784/sync-hotmail-with-your-iphone-or-ipod-touch -with-exchange-activesync/. (If you don't want to sync contacts or calendars just turn these to off.)

This is what it is and what it does. You both have to have iOS 5 installed on your supported device. If that's not what your setup is, then that's your answer. -
I have just had an iPod mini but my messages are coming through on my iPad and my iPhone how can I stop this happening ? Do I need to reset my iPad ?
To prevent messages from reaching both devices you can turn off Messages on the device you do not want to receive messages but keep Messages on on the device you do want to receive Messages.
You might also look at this option for both devices.
Settings > Messages > Send and Receive > review the a riotous choices for how you can e reached and select the ones that are most appropriate for you and the device you are setting. -

Not all of my bookmarks are coming into my iPhone from my PC via the Firefox server. Only one folder of my bookmarks is coming in. Never had this problem before. Other sync instructions in Preferences can be changed and are properly executed (tabs vs. no tabs, history vs. no history, etc.). Have read other "solutions" in this area of Help (have signed out and signed back in, very good WiFi and 3G connections, plenty of room on my iPhone, even got a new sync key). Still only get about 5% of my bookmarks which was not a problem before. Have v.3.6.14, under Windows 7.

My text messages are coming through out of order! I have checked the software and the time setting is on automatic!! Very frustrating... any other advice??
When reception allows the iPhone sends and receives the messages, this is also dependent on the reception of the other phone you are communicating with. If you really feel you have a problem, contact your Carrier about the problem.

talkingqueen56 lets get the device running smoothly again! To make sure I'm on the same page, messages are coming in as the phone number instead of the saved contact? If so, is this happening with iMessages and standard text messages?

I have a new 5s - my text messages are coming through on my I-pad but not my new phone - why?
My 5s developed a fault so Apple gave me a new phone - backed it up with I-cloud but now my text messages are only coming through on my I-pad not my phone and can't work out why?

We want to provide you all the answers that you need. Verizon Messaging is a great application that we offer. When you logged into the website for the messages did you sign out when you were done? If not it still may assume you are online and wanting to receive messages.

Not all forwarded text messages are making it to my email
I forwarded 4 text messages from my phone to my email. 3 of the messages made it to my email. The fourth one has yet to show up and I tried 4 times. 3 time yesterday and once (so far) this morning. Anyone know why this happens? This isn't the first time that it has happened.
I do not have a data plan on my phone.This isn't the first time that this has happened. The last time, I contacted Verizon and they were of no help. They couldn't tell me why.
I tried to forward that text a little while ago and it has never made it to my email. I give up. I wonder why 3 texts forwarded and one didn't. It's a mystery to me. -
Me and my husband share the same Apple ID
I logged onto my Mac book and the messages popped up, it shows all messages sent from my phone and my husbands.
There are some random conversations in there that I didn't send and my husband is denying.
How do I (a) see what phone sent these, and (b) is this possible to not be either of us?You cannot see what phone/device sent the iMessages, unless you look at that particular device and they have not been deleted from the device.
Anyone with access to the Apple ID & Password can send iMessages on that Apple ID from an iMessage capable device. -
I'm having trouble getting all of my apps and photos to sync to the new computer and only about half of my music will copy over. What am I missing?
It will only move "purchased" songs - i.e. those bought through the iTunes store. Anything that you loaded into iTunes from another source (CD, bought elsewhere, etc.) has to be either reloaded from that source, or brought over via iTunes "Home Sharing".
In my own experience, Home Sharing works the best - although it can take literally days, depending on how large your music/ap/movie library is on the original computer. -
Texts are coming through as email addresses
twice when ive texted a coworker from my cell phone and they show me the message it says that the sender of the text is my personal gmail account NOT my phone number like it should be why the **** is it doing this?
If you go into Settings - Messages - send / receive
Your phone number is usually in gray and cannot be changed \
But you should be able to tap on the email and unselect it
What happens if you try? Any error message?
And have you tried to reset your phone and try again?

Can't locate email content? All of a sudden my email content has disappeared from inside MacMail? The actual emails are coming through but I am unable to view them in the content area! Nothing has been done to have changed this?
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2. -

Hi, i downloaded ios 5 to ipad 2 and when I rebooted, all 2000 emails that i had recieved, read and trashed are downloading again. They are coming through 25 at a time eaach time I check mail. How do I stop this happening?
Use your PC to sign-on to your mail service using the browser interface they provide. Delete all the e-mails you don't want on the server. That will prevent the iPad from downloading them.

PDF Maker/Outlook 2007 crashing issue
