Not all photos are uploading to Photo Stream?

I have an iPhone 4S and usually when I take a photo, a copy of it appears in Photo Stream (on the iPhone). It is also synced to my Mac Mini and new iPad.
But recently, photos I take with either my iPhone or my iPad don't get uploaded. And in fact they don't even show up in their own Photo Stream group?!
Are the servers having trouble or is there something else wrong?
I have tried:
• Switching Photo Stream on/off
• Doing the above and powering the device on/off
• Resetting Photo Stream via iCloud.com
• Ensuring I am am connected to wifi (even taking pictures whilst connected to wifi)
• Ensuring battery is charged (even tried charging and fully chared)
Bascially in the past 48 hours 1 out of about 60 photos has uploaded, which is pretty annoying as I really needed Photo Stream to work these past couple of days.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

On an iOS device, new photos you take will be automatically uploaded to your photo stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi. Note: My Photo Stream does not push photos over cellular connections."

Not sure why some photos would not be included.

  • Not all photos appearing in My Photo Stream - how about my videos?

On a recent vacation I took several photos and videos with my iPhone 5.  Most of the photos appear in My Photo Stream but some do not.  I e-mailed the photos to myself so that I could share them but the videos are too large to send.
Why don't all my photos appear  in My Photo Stream?  How about the videos...should they appear in the Stream as well?  Is there some way to force pushing the items?  (I have backed up my phone several times to the Cloud but still with no success.  Photo Stream is turned on in Settings and the camera app is closed.)
Thanks for any help you can provide.

For example.  When I share a photo stream with my dad and brother and mother all the photos they are putting in the shared photo stream are taking up space on my iphone!  I'll be out of space in no time at this rate.

    Hi...
Tap the Photos icon in the Dock at the bottom of of the screen.
If you don't see the photos there, tap Settings > iCloud
Turn Photo Stream off then back on then restart your iPad.
Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears.  Slide to power off.  After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on

Open your iPhoto Library, go to that particular album and verify that you can view the full sized version of each image by double clicking on them.  Report back with the results.

  • Why are some photos on camera roll but not in photo stream. Unable to backup as camera roll size is too big for free 5gb.

I assume you have Photostream on, correct?
In order for the photos to be moved into Photostream, you must exit the camera app, and be on a wifi connection.  Both of these criteria must be met before the sync occurs.

  • Why are not all photos taken with an iphone available on the icloud, even that i made some fotos at the same time. Some of them are afterwards available on fotostream others not

If they are in photos view then they are in an event unless you have a corrupted library
    How are you"merging" the photos?
most common issue is either bad sort (view menu ==> sort events) or bad camera dates
select one and show event to see the event

I think you can solve your problems by removing your AppleID email address from BOTH the Messages setting on your iPhone and the iMessages settings on your Mac.
    On iPhone:
    Settings > Messages > iMessage > Dissabled
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > touch the "(i)" < touch "Remove This Email"
    On Mac:
    Open "Messages" application
    Click "Messages menu > Preferences
    Click "Accounts"
    Select your AppleID account
Under the "You can be reached for messages at" settings, uncheck your AppleID email address and your phone number
Then uncheck the "Enable this account" setting
And lastly, ask all of your friends with iPhones to delete all iMessage conversations (blue bubbles) in their entirety.
To test, send a friend a new text using their phone number (not their email address) and watch the color of the bubble.  If it's green then you are using SMS.

  • HT201317 Is there a way to "stream" older photo's to my PC stored on my Iphone before I upset up "Photo Stream?  NOTE:  My Photo Stream "pushing function is working, but I can only push "new" photos to my PC.

Is there a way to stream  "older" photos to my PC that were stored on my Iphone before I implemented "Photo Stream?  NOTE:  My Photo Stream "pushing" function is working, but I can only push "new" photos to my PC.

It might not be streaming but have you considered copying the photos directly off the iphone onto your PC?  I plug my phone in via the USB cable like usual and in Windows Explorer, navigate to Computer\Apple iPhone\Internal Storage\DCIM\860xxxx  and there they are. Copy & paste and you have pictures.
    Hope it helps.

  • Iphoto will not enable photo stream

My iPhoto will not enable Photo Stream.  All software is up to date and I have the latest version of iPhoto, in fact Photo Stream was working last week on my Mac.  Now all I get is the msg "iPhoto cannot enable Photo Stream".  Any thoughts ??

Hey dave2468, as you can tell by my original post, this problem surfaced several months ago and out of frustration for lack of an answer to the problem - I called Apple for support.  I was fully prepared to spend the $50 bucks to resolve this issue but fortunately didn't have to.  My problem did get resolved after about 1 &1/2 hours on the phone and the solution revolved around resetting my password for my account...can't tell you why other than ghost in the machine issue.  Yours may be different issue but wanted to let you know how this ultimately got resolved.  I have had no further issues relative to this problem since my phone consultation.  Best of luck - I know how frustrating these things can be. • Not all photos in Event got synced

I found that not all photos in my events were synced into my iPhone recently, but it used to be ok.
I have already selected to sync "Selected albums......include ALL event" options in iTunes.
The event folder itself was synced but not all photo in the event get synced to iPhone, just some of them. Anyone got an idea on what happen ??
    Thanks.
    3Gs, 3.1.2
    iTunes latest
    MacOSX 10.6.2 on MacPro

Well...first a quick question, any reason why you have not updated to 10.6.2? Your profile indicates you haven't installed the combo update, which has a number of bug fixes. You might want to first repair permissions, then install the update, which can be obtained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL958. Once done, repair permissions again & check for any updates to iphoto, if that's what you're using.
Then, lets see if we can fix this mess. I'd suggest first removing ALL photos from your phone by un-checking the various albums or folders you have selected in itunes and hitting the APPLY button. Once you've confirmed that there are no photos on your phone, delete the photo cache on your computer, again, as described earlier. Then launch isync from your applications folder & under preferences select reset sync history. Once complete, reboot your computer, launch itunes, connect your phone, select what photo albums you want and hit apply.
Are any of these photos in a music slide show? If so, try disabling or removing the music BEFORE you try and sync them back.

  • I can see all of the thumbnails in my library but when i click on photo it becomes an ! not all photos do this but wondering if there is a fix

i can see all of the thumbnails in my library but when i click on photo it becomes an ! not all photos do this but wondering if there is a fix

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
What version of iPhoto do you have? Assuming 09 or later...
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

  • IPhoto to Aperture 3 import - not all photos get imported...

Hello - My library is not huge, only about 8000 photos. Just bought Aperture 3 and imported my iPhoto library into A3. Seemed to go without issues. Today, as I re-organize a few folders, projects, etc., I realize that not all the photos were imported. About 700, to be exact. Every named Event in iPhoto imported over into A3, but not all photos within each Event (now Project). Any thoughts on what could have happened and how this could be avoided?
I could import each Event individually, but then I would loose all my keywords. Any work around you can think of? Thanks!

    Try rebuild your iPhoto Library:
Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
I would import each event individually, but I would like my keywords preserved
Using the iPhoto Media Browser (File -> Import -> Show iPhoto Browser) will get your keywords too.

  • HT4890 I do not have photo stream on my i cloud menu. How do I get it there?

I do not have photo stream as part of my i cloud menu, what do I need to do to add it to the main menu?

Photo Stream is a part of iCloud that lets your devices sync photos from your ID connected devices but its not viewable from the iCloud servers (iCloud.com).
Instead it "pushes" your images taken on iOS 5.1 devices to your other devices (Mac, iPhone and others).

  • HT201317 can not activate photo stream on my Mac

I have iPhoto 11 v 9.1.5 and OsX Lion 10.8.3 but can not activate Photo Stream on my Mac because it is not activated. The place to check activation is faded.
    Help?

You need iPhoto 9.2.2 or later for Photo Stream and 9.4 or later for Shared Photo Streams:
The following is from iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
What do I need to use Photo Stream
To use Photo Stream, including Shared Photo Streams, you need an iCloud account, compatible devices, and up-to-date software:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 6.0 or later
Mac with OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.2 or later and iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later
PC with Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and the iCloud Control Panel 2.1 or later for Windows
Apple TV (2nd generation) with Software Update 5.1 or later
You can still use Photo Stream without Shared Photo Streams if your devices meet these requirements:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5.1 or later
Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and iPhoto 9.2.2 or Aperture 3.2.3 or later
PC with Windows 7 or Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and the iCloud Control Panel v2.0 or later for Windows
Apple TV (2nd generation) with Software Update 5.0 or later
