Not all rows have been retrieved.Data may be inaccurate

Hai all,
I have 12500 records in my table..when using disco, when am fetching all the records it is always displaying only 10,000 records.. and it displays the a/m subjected error and displays only 10k rows..
Any suggestions ?

I have a user that is getting this error when she attempts to print the report.
However I've run the SQL separately & I don't understand why the error is occurring. The SQL returns only 40 rows and the default return is set for 2000 rows.
Any ideas?

    Question: A column stores a number (or sequence) for say Invoice Number and it has values like say

    now auditors want to find out how many invoice_numbers are missing....offcourse in real life there might be millions/billions of rows...
    using only SQL how can one find out this info quickly.

    Instead have a DELETE_FLAG or END_DATE or something indicating the row is now effectively deleted. Nice one, but that implies you don't work on table but on a view and INSTEAD OF trigger, to avoid any delete directly inside your table.
    But in that case, you must avoid any SQL*Plus (or any other tools) access, do not update directly the table, or add a trigger on delete for your table and raise an error.
    Well, that depend of application code.

    I have had this printer for about two years now.  All of a sudden it has decided to stop working, and I cannot get it to work now.  All connections have been connected and all software drivers updated.  What can I do to resolve this issue?  Thanks.

    Driver has been downloaded from HP site correctly.
    Also, used different lap top but the respond was the same.

    Weekly refresh of a test db from prod, using rman DUPLICATE DATABASE, failed with “RMAN-05556: not all datafiles have backups that can be recovered to SCN”
    Background Summary:
    Weekly inc 0 backup of production starts on Sunday at 0100, normally completes around 1050.  Includes backups of archivelogs
    Another backup of just archivelogs runs on Sunday at 1200, normally completes NLT 1201.
    On the test server, the refresh job starts on Sunday at 1325.  In the past this script used a set until time \"to_date('`date +%Y-%m-%d` 11:55:00','YYYY-MM-DD hh24:mi:ss')\"; -- hard-coded for ‘today at 11:55’.
    For a variety of reasons I decided to replace this semi-hard coding of the UNTIL with a value determined by querying the rman catalog, getting the completion time of the inc 0 backup.  This tested out just fine in my vbox lab, even when I deliberately drove some updates and log switches during the period the backup was running.  But the first time to go live I got the above reported error.
    Details:
    The key part of the inc 0 backup is this (run from a shell script)

    Investigation of the ftp portion of the refresh script confirmed that all backup pieces were copied from the prod server.
    So what am I overlooking?  Having reverted back to the original script to get the refresh completed,

    Yet, why does backupset 5 of the noon archivelog backup show archivelogs from 10:30 to 10:40  if they had been deleted by the database backup script which has a delete input ?  It is as if the database backup script did NOT delete the archivelogs and the noon run was the one to backup the archivelogs (again ?)

    I hope this posts in a readable, understandable manner.  I really struggeled with the 'enhanced editor', which I normally use.  When I pasted in blocks from the rman report, it kept trying to make some sort of table structure out of it .... guess I'll have to follow that up with a question in the Community forum ....

    I figured it out!!!
    Hey guys! Here's what I did that saved my project.
    -SHORT VERSION-
    Use the Finder window on your Mac to copy and paste your old project (the one not showing up in imovie) to a new folder so that iMovie will see it.
    -LONG VERSION-
    CONDITIONS:
    The project has to exist on your hard drive. To see if it's hiding around somewhere go to:
    Home (your name)>Movies>iMovie Library (right click and select Show Package Contents)
    In the iMovie Library folder (the default is usually the date) open it to see if your Project is inside. If it is, you are in luck!
    RESTORING PROJECT:
    Open iMovie
    start a new folder under the iMovie Library (again, the default is usually todays date)
    Close iMovie
    In the finder window (as explained above in the CONDITIONS section) select the files and folders of your project and copy them (in my case these consist of folders called Analysis Files, Original Media, "MYPROJECT", Render Files, Shared Items)
    There should now be a folder with today's date in that Show Package Contents folder.
    Paste a copy of your project;s files into this folder.
    When it is done copying, open up the "Original Media" folder and all of your images and clips should be present.
    reopen iMovie. Your project should show up in the Libraries list.
    *If your full project isn't showing in the iMovie timeline (mine just had empty bubbles where all my clips and audio should be) try dragging and dropping the clips and images from the project's "Original Media" folder into the import section of your project. Once the files were reimported, iMovie recognized them all and put them back in the correct place for me.
    Hope this helps someone!

  • "all files have been deleted..."

    i noticed the other day that a good chunk of my songs were not playing properly. at random moments during songs a half second of another song would interrupt the current song and then skip forward one song. i thought i'd restore my ipod and reload all the songs again. now my computer is having trouble recognizing the ipod. i can only restore the ipod if the computer has been off for x amount of hours. once i restore the ipod and then try to transfer my library i get a warning that says that its having problems saving all the files to the ipod and that all files have been deleted. it will only save the first two songs of the library. if i try to play the second song the ipod freezes up. if i try to restore the ipod again the computer will not recognize it unless i turn off the computer and wait. i've tried resetting the ipod while still connected to the computer but to no avail. i've tried this numerous times. hopefully someone out there can help.

    I take it that your mum has not made a habit of making regular backups to an external disk?
    There are data recovery services that can often recover deleted files; however, their services are quite expensive. To maximize the chance of recovery, have your mum do a shut down from the Apple menu and don’t use the MacBook Pro again until you’ve chosen a data recovery service, given them your MacBook Pro, and have received it back from them.

  • Clear all rows in a Bean Data Control

    I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6
    In my use case I have a screen that interacts with a Bean Data Control I have followed the steps in the following URL to create a Bean Data Control

    My screen successfully interacts with the Bean Data Control. This screen lives in a Bounded Task Flow (BTF). I can add rows using a Create Insert binding and can delete Rows as well. Once the user gets all rows into the Bean Data Control that they want inserted to a DB table, I can iterate through the Bean Data Control and post those records to the DB. It is possible for the users to add rows to the Bean Data Control and then link to a brand new screen which is in a different BTF which leaves rows in the Bean Data Control. Now the user goes back to the original screen. Upon returning, I want to empty (clear all rows) for the Bean Data Control so that they have a fresh start. Could you please provide guidance on what I might need to do to be able to clear a Bean Data Control when entering a BTF

    You can create a method to clear your Bean Data Control and call it with an invokeAction with property refresh="ifNeeded" and refreshCondition="#{pageFlowScope.isTimeToClearAll}", so pageFlowScope.isTimeToClearAll must be true only when you need to clear the BDC.

  • How do I download an iTunes purchase when it says "All purchases have been downloaded for this Apple ID."

    I have a season pass, so I've already 'purchased' all episodes as they come out.
    I get an e-mail saying a new episode is available, I go to iTunes, then Store > Check for Available Downloads...
    After a few seconds, I get an error: "All purchases have been downloaded for this Apple ID."
    This happens to me frequently. Eventually (usually when the next episode comes out), it just works.
    It never allows me to start the download. Since the episode isn't recognized as being on my Apple ID to download in the first place, I obviously can't "re-download" it. Neither checking for downloads, nor redownloading will alow me to get the new episode.
    Since I only have one Apple ID, I'm obviously using the right one. I just logged out of my Apple ID and back in, nothing. I changed my password and updated my Apple ID details, logged in again, nothing. I don't have any special firewalls/scanners/security software, just Apple's built-in Mac OS firewall.
    This is iTunes 11.0.2 (the current version) on my MacBook Pro.
    So... how do I get the episode?

    I pressed my Apple support person to verify if this was a known issue, here is her response:
    This is Irish again from the iTunes Store Support.
    I have confirmed that this is a known issue. Please trust that Apple is currently working towards a resolution. I know that this has been said a lot, but I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
    As an alternative, we recommend our customers to try downloading the latest episodes through our iTunes in the Cloud feature.
    For those of you who do not know how to download the episode manually:
    1.     Go to iTunes and log in
    2.     Go to the iTunes store, home page
    3.     On the right, click on "Purchased"
    4.     At the top, choose "TV Shows"
    5.     On the right, choose the TV show you want to download (eg: Walking Dead)
    6.     Choose the Season (3 for Walking Dead)
    7.     A window of episodes will open, scroll down to episode 30 and you'll notice it says it's not downloaded yet. 8.     Click on the Cloud icon and start downloading.
    Not as easy as clicking once on "Check for available downloads!"

    The duplication is unnecessary. Exporting creates a duplicate of the file. So now you'll have a duplicate of a duplicate. Exporting is not "working on" a file.
    No it's not merging, it's exporting from one to the Finder and into another. No matter what lose something. If you export the Original you leave behind all the work you've done in iPhoto. If you export anything else, you lose the non-destructive editing and the ability to revert to the original. With merging you preserve that work. Yes, you can trash the old Library when you have completed the manoevre but no it's not the same thing as merging.

    has details of the options in the Export dialogue. But in brief:
    Current gets you the iPhoto Preview, used for sharing via media browsers. It's a jpg, medium quality missing metadata. Original gets the file you imported, unchanged and then you can export different version of the current version at different qualities. If you choose to export anything except the Original you do not get a Raw. There's no such thing as an "edited Raw", and you lose the connection between the original and the exported version. That means you've taken a non-destructive workflow and turned it into a destructive one.
    The Tiff will certainly be higher qulaity and less likely to suffer generational loss in future editing but the file sizes are vast, often more than 10 times the size of the jpeg.
    Put it this way, it would be cheaper to buy Library Manager than the disk you'll need to contain all the Tiffs. Unless you plan on a lot of editing, I'd go for a high quality jpeg as a reasonable compromise.
    To be clear:
    So, I guess my new question is, how can I edit the Raw image and keep it in a RAW format that IPhoto recognizes so that I can reprocess without any loss at a future time, or is it that once you edit a RAW image, then it is no longer a RAW image?
    Once you edit a Raw it can no longer be a Raw. End of.

    The only thing you may need is to display the menubar at the top of the iTunes window. Use the CTRL button, CTRL+B and Store is on that menu.
