Not all the connect strings are shown from tnsnames.ora

Hi Guys,
I am having a very strange problem. While trying to create a new connection in SQL Developer (I am using Version 1.1.2.25), and choosing " TNS " as connection type, I am just able to see 15-20 database entries, where my tnsnsames.ora contains more than 100 entries. And these 15-20 connect strings seem to have been picked randomly. So its like I am seeing the 1st entry, 4-8th entry, 20-24th entry from the tnsnames.ora.
Any idea what needs to be done?

Hi there,
I found what was wrong and would like to update it for the benefit of others. The tnsnames.ora was read upto all the entries which was in correct format. All the entries after the first incorrect entry was being ignored.
E.g. if you tnsnames.ora is having 100 entries and entry number 50 is in wrong format, then SQLDEVELOPER will only show entries upto 49. Entry 50th onwards will not be shown.

Hummmm, you might not be missing anything... From what I understand, really the only new visible add-on apps type programs are Newstand and Reminders. The Notification Center seems to be about how your info and alerts are pushed to your screen and you control that thru the phone settings>General>Notifications, the panel is accessed by swiping downward from the top of your screen. Weird I know, should be more obvious. Enjoy!
Don't forget, you can now use the volume button on the side of your phone to take photos. I really like this!

If it is still slow after removing Symantec, you may need a RAM upgrade. Yosemite can run very poorly on older machines with only 4 GB RAM.

I don't believe this is possible, but you can deauthorize all your computers and start over if you are concerned.

All of the webpages are showing up "strange" not all the colors are showing, not all the correct boxes are showing, and there are numerous errors in the error console (which doesn't help me)! Is there just a way to reset everything to go back to normal??

I am simply trying to move a site from a Windows 2003 32bit server to a Windows 2008 R2 64-bit. The database was on and is remaining on the 2008 server. Trying to run the new site results in:

This error pops up more than a few times in the forums but do not seem unique to my situation where I know the connection string works fine from another server. Any insights?

To find all the child records are processed before parent records

When i am trying to process consignment pulls and my client is using third party tool to insert the data into interface tables. My logic is written in such a way that it should pick parent record associated with child but there is some delay in child records and not all the child records are being pulled with parent.
In a brief, i need to write a condition in such a way that my parent cursor should pick all the child records with max(last_updated_date) and then it should be processed.
eg: I have a family and need to catch bus with all my family members. I need to check now for the last family member who get into and should wait for atleast 2mins so as to ensure all my family members are in. I am unable to achieve this with count. Please do revert back soon.

Thanks for the info. But its not a concurrent request something like we can filter with start date and completion date. Its all about selection of records from headers and lines table and not able to make those selection of header records with a delay of say some 2minutes until all the child records are inserted.

Not able to download all the rows to excel sheet from alv grid display

Hi experts,
I am not able to download all the rows which are displayed in alv grid display for some material numbers.
for some materials i am able to download, i used two ways to download 1) from icon(local file) on grid 2) menu list->export.
i checked in debugging till selecting the spread sheet pop up window, i am able to see all the data in internal table.
Can you suggest me what will be the problem....

After a UPSA connection edit, all my user profiles are "missing from import"

I've got a problem with my User Profile Service Application. I edited my existing connection to add some new OU containers to the list, after the networks team had done some
restructuring to reflect an organizational change. Then I ran a Full Synchronization. But now all of my user profiles show up under the "Missing from Import" list. I still have 943 profiles in SharePoint, and not surprisingly, people search isn't
working. I suspect that I did something wrong in the process of selecting the Users OU containers in the AD tree (in Populate Containers), but I cannot see what, since I replicated the selections that had been made for an unchanged department, to
the ones that had been reorganized.
Any help appreciated.

According to your description, my understanding is that all the user profiles are showing up under "Profiles missing from import" list after you edited the existing User Profile Synchronization
Connection.
For your issue, it can be caused by that your User Profile Synchronization Connection is unable to connect to your AD. Please make sure the account used to connect to Active Directory to import
profiles has access to the Organizational Unit you are importing from. By default this account is the Default Content Access account. And the Default Content Access account must be a domain user account and it must have read access to external or secure
content sources that you want to crawl by using this account.
Then you need to check if the “Profile Synchronization” job status is “succeed”.
Also please check the “Sync filter” for the service, and make sure the account are not include in the Exclusion Filter for Users.
For a workaround, you can just delete the existing connection , recreate it and perform a full synchronization.
