Not all tracks play in playlists on iPad

I have various playlists set up on my Windows 8.1 laptop. some of which I sync with my iPad.
I have noticed that although all the track names etc. appear in the Music app on the iPad, when I play the playlist, all the tracks do not play. I have two questions:
1) Is there a way to find out if the files are on the iPad but not playing, or if they're not actually there, and
2) a) If they are there, how do I get them to play, or
b) If they're not there, why not, and how do I get them there?

I too have a Beep and have the same/similar problem. I run Spotify connect from my phone or laptop and connect to the Beep. When playing a playlist or radio station it will often repeat tracks and sometimes just get stuck playing the same couple of tracks over and over. If I try and queue tracks it is even worse. For example if I queue tracks 1, 2, 3 ,4 and 5. It will play tracks 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. This seems to have been a problem ever since Spotify introduced the "Play Queue" screen showing "Current Track", "Queued Track" and "Next track". The "Queued Tracks" will list the tracks I have queued, i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. But the "Next Tracks" will list tracks 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. And that is what plays. This makes queuing absolutely useless. Infact the whole "Current Track", "Queued Track" and "Next track" thing is a complete mess.

First, to access documents you must use an app designed for that specific Document type. So Pages will not be able to open PDFs. The Documents app by Readdle can handle PDFs though. In the latter case, you'd open the app, click the menu icon at its top left, and click Open to go to your iCloud Drive. With Pages, if you had files outside the main Pages folder, click + then iCloud and navigate to the file's location.

Thank you - I have done this now but resetting and restoring from another device didn't really help. However, syncing via iTunes was a bit more successful as it occurred to me that many of my contacts are in MS Outlook on my PC and I was able to copy them over. There are still some contacts missing and I am continuing to try and figure out where they originate from to try and get them to show up.

All tracks playing automatically

I have sync'ed my iPhone with iTunes. One of the Playlists has several Tracks. When the first Track is fully played the iPhone stops. I have to press again Play button for the second Track. How do I make all the Tracks played automatically in serial?

Look at the songs in iTunes on your computer (list view). Does each song have a check mark in the box to the left of the song's name.? Unchecked songs have to be clicked on individually to play them, checked songs will play one after the other.
To check or uncheck all boxes on a PC with one click, hold down the Control (ctrl) key and click on one of the checkboxes with the mouse. You can use this in a library, a playlist or in search results.
To check or uncheck all boxes on a Mac with one click, hold down the Command (cmd) key and click on one of the checkboxes with the mouse.
Then sync your iPhone again.

Try deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-try the photo sync and see if they all then copy over - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page.

Not authorized to play songs bought on iPad on computer

After downloading itunes 10.5 and ios5 on my iPad I tried buying a song on my ipad2 to see if it would automatically download on my laptop. It did...but when I go to play it a box flys up and says Im not authorized to play it on this computer. When I enter my info it tells me this computer is already authorized...but still wont play it. I also tried things the other way, bought a song on my laptop and it did download it on my ipad and was able to play it. So somehow the computer is jacked up. I read another post and tried the suggestion to log out of itunes and deauthorize my computer and to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
FYI - Im running Windows 7 - 64bit, iTunes 10.5...and only use one itunes account and apple id...have only ever had one.

First, have you added them to the itunes library? Second have you authorized the computer through itunes? To do this open itunes, click on store and click on authorize computer.

I can not launch and play videos on my ipad

I can not launch or play video on my I pad. I get about:blank white page.

What website is this from? The video may be rendered in Flash which is not supported on mobile devices.

Not all tracks of a CD show that are imported

I have imported Maroon 5's CD - "Hands All Over" - twice now into iTunes. There is a track (track 12) called "Moves Like Jagger". Both times only 11 tracks show on the album view, but in song view I can see the 12th track. Any idea why it doesn't show in album view?

I thought you'd cracked it. But here are the actual facts: Album name is "Hands All Over" - Artists are primarily Maroon 5 . I have now discovered that there are two tracks that don't show up!! In the album view, only 11 tracks show - they are the ones that only have Maroon 5 as the artist. But track 11, which is with Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera, and track 12 which is with Lady Antebellum do not show up on the main album view. They do show up as "singles" if you know what I mean without the album artwork in the space above the main album. But if I didn't see that I wouldn't know the tracks were on the album. Very irritating.
When I "get info" the album name just shows "Hands All Over" - the same as for every other track, so that's not it, but I think we are on the right track (! - excuse the pun) - must be something in the metadata.

Just upgraded to 2.2.1 and not all songs play

On my iPod Touch, I just finally upgraded the software from 1.x to 2.2.1. Now, only a few songs will play. Others appear to play but there's no sound. Odd thing is, it's like my last 3 or 4 purchases that play (some songs and one album--going back about a month) but older purchases do not play (only have purchased music, no imported CDs on the iPod).
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not really sure what to do. Am going to synch it to remove all songs then re-synch them back on, but didn't know if there was a better solution.
It seems like I'm reading that 2.2.1 is a little buggy, I'm wondering if I will run into other problems as well.

I would simply restart the touch and, if that didn't do it, a reset.
Restart: Hold the Sleep/Wake button down until you see the red slider and turn the touch off. To restart it, hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple logo and then let go.
Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down together for about 10 seconds. When you see the Apple logo again, let go.
FYI - 2.2.1 was a minor update to fix a few little things. It is only buggy in some people's hands. Most of us have experienced no problems.

Not all photos on photostream sync to iPad

IPhoto says I have 197 photos in my photo stream. I recently had to delete my iCloud account on my iPad 2 because the notes were not syncing. When I added my iCloud account back only a few photos from the photostream synced back up. What can I do to have all photos on photostream sync back to my iPad?

iCloud only keeps photo stream photos from the last 30 days. Your backup would include your camera roll photos but they can only be accessed by restoring the backup to your device.

Not all tracks listed in music artist

I have an iPod "video".
I have some tracks from the same artist, and i have only one album while some tracks haven't album info, in the music > artist the iPod shows only the tracks of the album.
But if there's 2 or more album, there's also an "all album" option that will list also tracks without album info.
U have the same problem? It's a bug?
I had an iPod 2G (HD broken...sigh!), and i haven't this stupid bug...

Most likely they are marked as a Compilation album. Those go at the end of the coverflow list.

Not all audio plays back on my display

I got a new 24" LED this week. Today, audio quit playing on any streaming video or audio that wasn't quicktime. I've tried both Safari and Firefox. Anything flashed-based won't play through the display, as well as any YouTube or other embedded videos via a web browser. When I switch the audio control panel back to the built in speaker on my mac pro, it's normal.
Only audio within the web browsers is affected. The system alert, audio files, iTunes, etc., are all fine.
I'm guessing some kind of software conflict, though earlier this week I lost connectivity to the I-sight camera, and tech support had me reset the NVRAM (which didn't seem to work), and then unplug/replug the power (which did work). That issue is still an open ticket, pending it possibly happening again.
Is is possible these things are related in some way?

I had that problem too. I don't know why that happened and I thought that after last software update of iTunes that was caused. Also music from iTunes and playing of DVD disc was wrong. I don't know much about technical side of computers for now and wanted to go Apple Seller with that problem. I was lucky that I saw your post and thank you very much!

IPod freezing and not all songs play

My ipod freezes and cannot unfreeze until battery goes low. How do I get this problem fixed? Also, after I download a song and transfer it to my ipod, the ipod doesn't always play the song. It may play a few seconds, but that's it. I try to redownload the song and the ipod still won't play it. Need help with this thing!!

Zen Vision M Not listing all tracks in alb

I bought a Zen Vision M (30gb) Sunday. I've loaded about 60 CDs so far - about 24 gb left. I discovered today that on a few albums not all tracks are listed. The tracks are in the player, because I can find them and play them via playlists. But they don't show up under album or artist. Is this a bug? If not, how do I get the album to list the complete contents?I'm new to MP3 players. Thanks,?Mark B.
