I've been informed by Nokia that once your comes with music subscription has ended you are no longer allowed to transfer your music to your mobile device, even though in there terms and conditions it says you can even change your mobile device after the service period for a period of two years and transfer the music what is going on ?

Yeah, having to pay for re-downloads was kind of the last nail.
I just spoke with the Nokia Care people here in Sweden though, and - interestingly - these people claim that transfer between PC and phone should be possible after the subscription runs out. There's a slight "however" though - it seems this transfer is only possible "up to two years" after the subscription ends? The same as re-downloading of the tracks.
I imagine that if they (hah, fat chance) manage to sort out this CMW-MU migration thing, and it's possible to both transfer and re-download tracks again, you need to transfer all the songs you've downloaded to the phone in order to update the DRM license. Because, and this is interesting, all the songs I've had in my phone at some point (but since removed) can be transferred back to it. The problem is only in transferring songs that I've downloaded to my PC but never transferred to the phone before they made the switch from CMW to Music Unlimited.
This would suggest they have severe problems with their DRM licenses... (among other things)

I have gone through and downloaded the missing versions of iTunes (10.6.8, 10.7) and when i try to upload them onto my computer, I receive and error message saying I need version 10.6. Please help!

Disk utility does not allow to restore Macintosh HD after I deleted a small size (1GB) partition

Hi, when I tried to create a new 1GB partition (on my Mac mini 2011, using Mac OS X 10.7.3) and then to delete it I could not restore (increase) Macintosh HD size using Disk utility (diskutil list shows the same value for Macitosh HD (498,17GB) partition before and after I deleted a new created 1GB partition).
Please help, how I can restore the original size of Macintosh HD when Disk utility does not allow to restore Macintosh HD after I deleted a small size (1GB) partition?

The bottom right corner dragging does not help in my case, because it shows that Macintosh HD partition size is maximal, but its real size did not change after I removed 1GB partition.
Maybe any other idea can help me, for example some built-in tool like diskutil which allows to view and manage unused partitions in terminal?

To disallow any price changes, set the Tolerance Key limits for Price Variance (PE-Price Var in Purchasing) for PO in IMG to Zero. This will compare the new price (Effective Price w/ Cash Disc) to the material price in the Material Master. Also set the msg no. 207 (in App Area 06) as a "E"-error message. This will stop end users from making changes.
If the Tolerance limits are set to zero and the message 207 is set as E, it should work.

What version of iPhoto? How are you trying?
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
If you have an iOS device that syncs with contact & calendar data on your computer you should migrate this information too. If that isn't possible create a dummy entry of each type in your new profile and iTunes should offer to merge the existing data from the device into the computer, otherwise the danger is that it will wipe the information from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Imovie 11 will not adjust volume of music track

So I put together a skit with background music and laugh tracks. I shared a copy with a friend and he told me when he played it the volume of the background music and laugh track were too high. I went back in and tried to adjust and even though I turned everything down (even to 0%) they still play at the same volume. I have now removed all but the video clips. I removed any ducking and reverted back to the original settings.
Can anyone give me advice on how to make the adjustments?

I think I found my answer.. I searched the internet looking for information on this issue.. and apparently, you are not supposed to drag music to the timeline. You only drag it to the background... an unexpected software change that renders all of the previous work on my movies invalid. I am going to have to go back into all of them and re-do my music.
Sound effects (.CAF files) work on the timeline.
Now.. I have another issue....
My stills in the movie are locking it up...
I have found clues that I have not yet investigated. It appears that you have to use iPhoto to organize your stills before you import them. We shall see if this works.

None of them will play when pasted to the timeline.

Anyone know the best way to not allow a user to change the payment terms after the AR document has been created in AR? This is affecting aging because users are changing the payment terms without permission. What is the best way to control that?

Frequent change in payment terms is something business should introspect. Payment term is decided and agreed upon with customer/vendor during the initial stages.
However from IT perspective, it can be controlled keeping some system controls.
1. Limit the Customer master change transaction to very limited users or to a manager. There should be internal approvals by management for business to make a change. Bring this into force.
2. Regularly run the customer master change reports and provide the trend to management to restrict or limit the changes.
3. Use Change Message control for master data by providing necessary warnings or error messages when master data is changed.
4. In the sales order level, there is every possibility to change the payment term. Based on the user authorization get the payment term field greyed out and provide change access to accounting or to a specific user upon approvals. This is a bit complex process but I feel this brings up controls and stops the process from exploitation.
5. Also activate 'Sensitive fields' KNB1-ZTERM for payment term field in customer master. This brings up another layer of confirmation of change by other users.
6. Another back route, not recommended in all cases, is to subsititute the required payment term during accounting document posting.

ICloud is not installing all my music tracks it only installs 16,600 of my 21589 the other 5,000 go to step three and take an average of 60/70 seconds each to upload, at that rate it would take 3days 15 hours to upload

The last time I had a problem, about 6months ago, I found an eMail support service direct from Apple itunes and eMailed them. Within 24 hours they replied with a soloution, however that service seems to have been withdrawn. So can anyone help me with the following problem: I have 21,653 music tracks. Paid y money and tried to upload them to iTunes icloud. Step 1 & 2 went well, completed in just over an hour. However step 3 for uploading artwork and any remaining music tracks, of which there was over 4,000 for some reason, is taking on average 60/70 seconds to upload each track. At that rate it would take nearly 4 days to upload non stop. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

The enter button or tapping the keypad will not allow a search to occur after I type in a keyword????

Firefox will not allow me to use the enter button or even tapping the key pad on the go/magnifying glass button in the search window. I can type in a few keywords in the google or yahoo keyword search window in the top right tool bar but it will not let me enter. It also will not let me search or enter on any website with a search window. I can't even type in a username/password to access my banking. This just occurred several days ago. This is a linux Acer 8gig netbook.

This may or may not be the problem but clips need to be in a storyline, not just butted back to back, to apply transitions. Meaning if you lift clips form the main storyline and just have them back to back on the line above (but not in their own storyline) they will not allow effects to be applied. You need to either move them back to the main storyline, or create a new storyline containing the clips, and then apply the transition.

Adding additional music tracks after beat-marking 1st track

I've begun a project by first adding a music track. I've beat-marked that track and now would like to add a second track.
When I drag the second song into my project, however, I find it completely obliterates the first track.
Is there any way to simply append the second without erasing the first?

I have the same question with a little twist. I'm using the iMovie 11, last version before the new one. When I try to ad a second song behind the first beat marked song, it seems to just wrap around the first song.
