Not allways all Users Displaying

Users without admin privledges are not displayed if an admin has not logged in in the boot session.
There is a darker background color when all Users are displayed

Task List URL (to FR Report) opens in new window, but not for all users!

Hi all,
I am not sure if this is the correct forum to ask the question (for me it looks like an IE topic), but perhaps anybody can help me anyway...
In one of our Planning apps (9.3.1) we defined several task lists and tasks that link to relevant FR Reports (URL Tasks). If I open the URL task in basic view the relevant FR Report opens in the same IE Window (in the main frame of the planning app). If my colleague opens the same task the FR Reports opens in a new IE Window.
My problem is that I dont have any ideas where I can set the relevant property. Is that a planning property, a workspace property or an IE property setting??? Where can I adjust the settings that for ALL users the URL opens the Report in the same window??????

P.S.: We are on IE8.

Have you both got the same settings in Tools > Internet Options > Tabs Settings
There was also a bug though I can't say if it is related to your issue

Outlook 2010 not finding all users in the "To" line

I have a user that has an issue with searching in the "To" line when sending an email.
She has sent an email to this person before, and with most users, she can type first or last name and come up with the users. But there are a select few that she can only find by typing their last name. I understand that while she can still find the user
under the last name, she is wanting to find the users by first name. I have removed cached mode, removed the cached email address and put it back in by sending a test email to the other person, but no luck, and I have gone in and found the user in the global
address book (Which searches by last name) and nothing This user can only be found by last name. I have been told that she can only search by last name if it someone who is in our organization, and I verified that the person she is sending to is on our domain
and is not an outside user.
Is there something I am missing or can try so that I can fix this for the lady who wants it to be the same across the board, or is this something that she will unfortunately just have to deal with.

After some research, I found that when we search for a recipient by the text we type in, auto-complete looks at the following fields:
1.Display Name
2.Primary SMTP E-mail address (i.e. [email protected])
3.Exchange Alias (i.e. abc)
4.legacyExchangeDN attribute in Active Directory
Auto-complete does not search against any of the following criteria:
1.First Name (if it is different from the display name, for example if the display name contained a nickname instead of the legal first name, which is listed in the recipients’ “first name” field in Active Directory)
2.Last Name (unless one of the above four fields starts with the last name)
3.Username (unless one of the above four fields starts with the username, or is set to match the username)
Please add the recipient's name(especially first name as the sender need) to the display name of the local contact, this should work.

User export does not export all users....

Hi all,
EP60 SP2 P4 HF8. Datasource is Database.
I'm exporting all users via the Export/Import iview in the User Administration role. However, the export file only shows part of all the users, not all. SAP Note 801393 descibes this problem exactly, but the proposed solution does not work either.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I've got the same issue.
When using the export function from the portal, the user list is not complete.
The stream seems to be cut off when too many users need to be exported(Length/size issue)?
Did someone find a solution?

ACS Replication does not replicate all users

Hello,
we have two ACS 4.0 solution engines. both are configured correct for acs replication. after starting the replication not all users from the primary ACS are replicated to the slave ACS. All uses are in different groups and the not replicated users are not in the local or unknown user group.
does anybody have a hint to resolve this problem?

I have deleted a user which was dynamicly discovered and afterwards added to a user group. After added the user manually again the replication was successfull.

White screen displays sporadically during interactive content and not for all users

We have an unusual thing happening with some users (5% or less) experiencing a white screen/program lockup when interacting with the training. We think this is related to missing java script file(s), but we aren't 100% sure.
Training is occurring on a variety of different laptops and workstations across the country. All are suppose to be using the latest version of IE (and java). There is no commonality between hardware, users or where in the program the issue occurs.
Some people experience it in module 5 when they have to type data, and others may experience it in module 2 where they just have to click the continue button ( any module for any action - it truly is that random). What's more we can't reproduce the problem on machines that have the latest java files. We have looked over the physical layout of each slide but can find no commands or objects that would cause the problem.
Has anyone experienced this type of sporadic issue? Does anyone have a suggestion for how to fix it? -

Server Admin is not showing all users in "Show Users

I've discovered that a previous upgrade from Tiger to Leopard in 2009 has lead to newer users not be displayed Server Admin 'Show Users and Groups'. New groups display fine.
We upgraded again to Snow Leopard a couple of months back and so are running the latest admin tools.
I really can't pick why these accounts aren't showing so any points would be appreciated.

After numerous reinstalls failed to solve this problem, I discovered that on my system, it has to do with using an external monitor (via DVI port). When I drag the Firefox window from my laptop screen to an external monitor, "Show All Bookmarks" is suddenly empty. Dragging the browser window back to the original display (laptop) does NOT fix it. Firefox must be RESTARTED on the original display. When Firefox re-opens, "Show All Bookmarks" functions normally again.
WORK AROUND: the only way I can view "Show All Bookmarks" on my external monitor is to first open both the browser and "Show All Bookmarks" windows on the original display, drag BOTH windows to the other monitor and be sure to leave the "Show All Bookmarks" library window open in the background. If I forget and close it by accident, the problem happens all over again.

Restrict View of quotation only by its creator and not to all users

There is a team of Marketing users who are responsible to send Quotations to Customers for Sales Inquiry.
One Marketing User is sending quotation to his generated lead/Customer. Similarly another user is also sending a quotation to his own generated lead/ customer.
Now, after the quotations are sent, while pulling a report, all marketing users are able to view every Quotation sent to different customers created by different users in one screen.
We don't want one marketing user to view another marketing user's quotation, since there is a possibility of information leakage (Sale Price-Quote) due to which we are loosing customers. Somebody from marketing team is leaking the information to competitors.
Kindly suggest a way to control this problem.

Are you talking about only in report or do you want to control this in VA23/VA22 transactions as well? If you restrict this in report users could watch this in display quotation transaction.
And also let me know which report you are talking about? Share the Tcodes please. If this is standard one then its better to remove that from user's role and create your own report. Use authority check object in that report and give access to every user so that they can view their own quotations.
Search the google with authorization check coding. Create an authorization object with ERNAM field and give every user name in every user's role. If this is confusing for you, you could seek help from your technical guys.

RODC does not receive all User and Groups

Dear NC,
i have one RODC in a Branch Office Site.
I have selected several Usergroups to be replicated to the RODC with nearly 800 Users.
But when i have a look into the RODC i can see that only 400 Users are replicated to the RODC.
I do not understand why this happens.
Can anybody offer some useful hints please?

Have you tried to verify whether replication was successful?
To verify successful replication to a domain controller
Open a Command Prompt as an administrator: On the Start menu, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
If the User Account Control dialog box appears, provide Domain Admins credentials, if required, and then click Continue.
At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
repadmin /showrepl <servername> /u:<domainname>\<username> /pw:*

Application association does not show all users associated

Hi,
We have a problem with the User association in a lot of Application
Objects. In the Application object we cannot see all the users, from the
User object we can see the Application.
This happend when a User was associated to an application, the one who
made the association had rights to modify the user but not the
application. We now have a lot of these objects and we need to have the
association list complete.
Because there are a lot of Application Objects, association all apps by
hand is a lot of work! Does anyone know a way to let ZEN reconnects/review
all the associations and put them in the list?
We have:
Netware 6.5 SP2
Zenworks 6.5 SP1

Round Down (or not at all) and display as percent to 2 Decimal Places

Hello,
I have a report in SSRS with a number of computations done in the tablix. I need to format an expression such that the value will be displayed as a percentage with 2 decimal places that is truncated(not rounded).
For example,
0.66666 should be displayed as 66.66% (not 66.67%)
0.5 should be displayed as 50.00%
I have done much Googling and have tried everything I can think of but no luck.
I would appreciate any help anyone can provide.

When applied to a hardcoded numeric value, your solution seems to work perfectly:
=Left(0.66666 *100, 5) & "%" ---> 66.66%
I had to modify it slightly when applying it to one of my calculations as whole percentages were not displaying .00 to the right of the decimal point. This is what I modified it to:
Left(Format((Fields!CorrectAudits.Value/(Fields!InCorrectAudits.Value + Fields!CorrectAudits.Value) * 100),
"N"), 5) &
This works perfectly when applied to this particular calculation, but for some reason when I apply it to the following calculation I get funky results:
Original calculation:
= SUM(Fields!CorrectAudits.Value)/SUM(Fields!IncorrectAudits.Value + Fields!CorrectAudits.Value)
Modified calculation:
=Left((SUM(Fields!CorrectAudits.Value)/SUM(Fields!InCorrectAudits.Value+Fields!CorrectAudits.Value)*100), 5) & "%"
Results:
0.66666 ----> 66.66 %   (This is as desired)
0.25      -----> 25%        (Should be 25.00%)
0.07692      ------> 7.692 % (This should be 7.69%)
Adding the Format "N" piece to this calculation fixes the issues with 0.25 and 0.07962 but causes 0.6666 to round to 66.67% (not the desired result).
Do you have any ideas? Am I doing something wrong and just not seeing it?

CCX / WFO Not Recording All Users

I've setup CCX and WFO in a lab to test compliance recording. My lab consists of the following:
- CCX 8.5.1
- WFO 8.5.2
- 3 AD users with device profiles (agent1, agent2 and agent3)
- 1 laptop with CIPC configured for network recording
When I login agent2, calls are recorded. I've verified this by logging into the WFO webpage and playing back the recordings.
When I login either agen1 or agent3, calls are not recorded. The WFO CTI logs show the error '
Not enough active connections. Not qualified.' Below are the complete CTI logs.

Resolved... Apparently you need to add the physical phones and the device profiles as recording devices. The documentation is somewhat lacking in this regard. Anyway, hopefully this helps someone else.

Time Machine not saving all Users

Hi,
I have just used Time Machine for the first time and noticed that it was saving "x" of around 142gb as its first save.
However, I noticed that when I go through the back up history, whilst it saved my wife's account/user files it hasn't saved mine. The icon of my "house" in the Places section doesn't highlight when you scroll over it with the mouse. It does in the "Now" window.. but page through the back up history and it's not saved. My files are also not found in the Users folder.
Any help really appreciated.

Are you using File Vault?
That's the only reason TM won't save your home folder on each backup. It should, however, save the encrypted disk image when you log out.
If not, start with a Finder window showing your home folder, then go into Time Machine. It should appear that way.
And be sure you're not looking at the first (lowest) window in the "cascade" of the "Star Wars" background; that's the +Today (Now)+ window, representing what's currently on your system. Navigate to the actual backup (behind the Today window) or via the timeline on the right.
