Not being able to connect to itunes store

We have 4 iphone 4's in our house and wifi. This past week we could no longer connect to the itunes store. We try rebooting the phones, checking for iso updates and nothing seemed to work. But I realized that we replace the wifi modem last week, so I went to setting and clicked on forget this network and then signed back in and things worked again.

I've also had the same problem eversince the 7.1.1 update. I have tried all the suggestions on the website and these forums.
I even contacted Apple who have refered me straight back to these forums and the FAQ's.
I'm disgusted that the response I got was a bulk standard 'don't bother us' attitude.
Still in the long run it will be their loss as all these customers can't buy goods from them. I've spend about £60 elsewhere in the last few weeks that I would have normally spent at iTunes.

  • Not being able to connect to itunes store with mobile modem

Hello. I just bought a t-mobile web n walk internet modem. I found that I could not connect to the itunes store using this despite the internet working fine. I was also having no problem connecting to the itunes store when hooked up via airport. I could find no answers posted anywhere on how to fix this. I fixed it by selecting 'view my account' from the 'store' menu and then entering my password and pressing 'done'. After this I could then access the itunes store via my mobile modem as well as airport. Thought I'd post this so that it hopefully helps anyone with the same problem in future. Karma an all...cheers

This is due to the restrictions placed on Apple by the copyright holders for content in Brazil & other Latin America countries. Until all & I mean ALL of the major copyright holders for content in Brazil & any other country negotiate with Apple, so Apple can distribute in a specific country, there is nothing Apple can do.

  • How do I fix not being able to connect to itunes on ios 7.0.2

Ever since ios 7 I haven't been able to use itunes or sign in to my account for the App Store

    Many thanks.
With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

I have updated my iphone 4s with ios6 and now im not able to connect to itunes store. I can open the apps store but cannot install any app?  Anyone facing the same issue..

I have a 4S and upgraded to iOS 6 last week without any issues.
Have you tried resetting your phone (hold the power and home buttons down together until the silver apple appears)?

    Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.
    In the meantime ...........

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

For those who are getting annoyed, I have found a solution which requires you to create a new apple ID without using credit card information:
    1. Go the app store
    2. Hit cancel when it asks you to sign in (If it doesn't, continue to step 3)
    3. Find a free app and try to download it
    4.  you to sign in option will appear, it will ask you if you want to use existing ID or create a new apple id. SELECT CREATE NEW APPLE ID
    5. Follow the steps and when it gets to the stage it asks you for your card info, Choose 'None'
    6. Full in all you name and address etc... And click next.
    7. Verify your email and Enjoy downloading FREE apps
    8. Say thank you as I do appreciate your love :)

  • The clock on my ipad seems to be stuck? Could this have anything to do with my not being able to connect with FaceTime ?

The clock on my iPad seems to be stuck ? Could this have anything to do with me not being able to connect with FaceTime ?

In order to backup to iCloud the iPad must be plugged into a power source, connected to WiFi and locked - meaning that it must be asleep - or with the lock screen only visible. This is for automatic backups.
If the iPad is not responding at all to any user input, try restarting it or resetting it and see if you can take the steps necessary to back up. You can initiate the backup manually as well.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Once it opens type the following command...
    netsh winsock reset
Hit enter and it should say something like winsock reset successful now reboot your computer
IT WORKED....... cleared all the "action2 on the CPU and loads IStore perfectly

  • Want to update my iPad apps but my iPad is not able to connect to iTunes store.

want to update certain apps....but when it starts updating it say that it  cannot connect to iTunes store.

You have to be running iOS 5 in order to update via the iPad settings. You are running 4.3. You will have to update via the latest version of iTunes on a computer. After you update to iOS 5.1.1, you will be able to do OTA updates from the settings on the iPad.

  • I am not able to connect my itunes store

i am not able to view my itunes store account or download updates since last month please suggest me.....
    thanks

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 n above) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • HT1491 ***!!!  I have not been able to access the itunes store for many months now.  I backed up all my purchases and reinstalled itunes and I still cannot access anything at all.  Anyone else have this problem?  I'm on an Alienware comp with Windows upda

I have not been able to get onto itunes to check my account or purchase anything for about a year now.  Got an Alienware system with latest Windows.  When I pull up itunes I can access my old music but cannot access my account to purchase anything new.  Just reinstalled itunes and it still does not work.  I am ready to just quit.  Anyone else having this issue?  Solutions?
    Thanks!

If this is an Alienware system, the most likely culprit is the Bigfoot Networks LSP as per the following document:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
Head to the Downloads and Drivers page at Dell for your particular model of Alienware. Look for available updates for your BigFoot networking device. If you update those drivers, does that give you back your Store access?
