Not being notified of emails?

I've received a few emails and my BB hasn't notified me. It worked earlier. Just wondering if maybe I changed a setting I wasn't supposed to. I delete all calls/emails/texts so I know that my inbox isn't full *sigh* :/

There has been some degradation of RIM data services among many of the US carriers this afternoon, ATT, TMobile and Verizon.
There is a trouble ticket issued and hopefully it is being cleared as we speak.

Why dont you just change your Apple ID (your email)? Make a new Apple ID and do the security questions that you will remember. Also, make sure you write down all the info with your Apple ID for later refrence.
To create a new Apple ID, follow the easy steps below:
Settings > Itunes and App stores > Tap "Apple ID: (YOUR APPLE ID IS HERE!)" > Tap "Sign Out" > Tap "Create New Aple ID"

Settings App > Notification Center > Phone > Seelct the alert style you want as well the otehr settings (should be self explanatory).
Aslo Settings App > Sounds > New Voice Mail.

Not being notified of bad email addresses or non delivery

I recently changed my email to a mac account from a outlook address. I sent out a number of bulk notifications with 30+ addresses. I suspect that some of the email addressed are not good but I have not been notified of any failures due to bad addresses. As a test I sent an email with only 3 addresses, all bad, and all were returned.
As such, I don't know if there a problem with bulk email not been sent or with return notifications.

Generally, when you send an email to an address that doesn't exist via OWA or Outlook, you will receive a NDR explaining that delivery has failed.

Container element is not being displayed in email

Hi Experts,
I inserted an element from container into email text as below
The task has been pending in inbox for more than &ins_num& days.
The value of &ins_num& in container is 9
In output I get
The task has been pending in inbox for more than days.
Please let me know what is wrong. The binding works fine. No error in workflow.

Check on the Following things:->
1> The Container Element has Initial Value defined, If Yes - it should symbolise in Green Colour.
If 'Not', then check the WF Log and see whether this Container Element is fetching the Values orr not.
2> If the Values are not being Fetched, then the Problem lies with the Binding of these WF Containers.

Bursting - empty tag not being cleared in email channel loop

If you check the following, I pass the cust num and email address to the email delivery channel for the subject line.
<xapi:message id="222" to="[email protected]" attachment="true" subject="Unigas Statement to be emailed to ${CUST_NUM} to ${EMAIL}">
Problem is, that if the cust num or email address tag is empty, the previous tag value is used! its like its not being "cleared" between bursting loops.

Since your email is failing I am going to assume the rest of your script is working. So I am looking specifically at these lines:
$process = '../includes/process_mail.inc.php';
if (file_exists($process) && is_readable($process)) {
include($process);
The things that need to be confirmed here are that the path is right and it has proper permissions. Have you tried eliminating that "and" statement in your "if" and see if those work independently. I have a feeling that if the path is right that the file does not have the proper permissions on your server for global read access which would make, "is_readable" fail and thus end your script.
Can you test those and post back?

Password not being included in Email Notification

I am trying to include the password for a newly-created user, in the body of an Email Notification being sent out.
But, the password is not being displayed.
As we all know, IDM uses the following variable for "*Password*" :
*<Field name='password.password'/>*
So, I included the password variable in my Email Template, as follows :
*<Variable name='mypassword'>*
*<select>*
*<ref>user.password.password</ref>*
*</select>*
*</Variable>*
But, when the Email is sent, the password is displayed in the email body as follows :
Password = "*Lighthouse_Fake_Password*"
How can I get the password to be displayed in the Email?

Hi Michael,
since passwords are stored in encrypted format, you can not directly display them using user.password.password.
You have to first decrypt them. Use below rule by passing account id to it.

Users not being notified AD password is going to expire when connecting to corporate wireless network

Hi All
In my company we are still on Windows XP. Every month there are hundreds of calls generated for users who connect primarily to the company network via our Corporate wireless and the passwords expire but they are not notified it is going to expire.
This means when users passwords do expire they are then not able to connect to the corporate wireless and the only way to get them up and running again is for them to call the Service Desk and they will then reset the password back to what it was previously.
This has been logged to the companies 3rd line team and they are telling me there is no way to resolve this. I find this pretty unbelieveable as WinXP is a long established Operating system across most companies in the world and having the above
scenario is a massive security risk.
Does anyone know of or have experience of this?

NSNotification observer not being notified

My project uses NSNotificationCenter notifications to communicate between sections of code asynchronously.
In one case, I have a request to pull profile information from a server, and when the server responds, I post a notification containing the profile data.
My observer does NOT appear to be receiving the notification, and I am scratching my head trying to figure out why.
The code uses this mechanism all over, and to my understanding this is the only one that is not working properly.
Observer:
    [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self

Posting:

I have a breakpoint at handleProfileFetch but it is never reached.
I use this elsewhere, just fine -- for example:

For some of the notifications, there are multiple observers set, and they too seem to get the notifications.

Thanks for the response. I inherited the current project and it is my belief that it uses a lot of complicated interaction and I am just trying to stabilize it and add a couple of changes for the next release.
I'm not an expert on the available forms of inter-thread communications, but notifications has been working in most places it is being used in this project. Typically, when a response from the server is received -- via page did finish loading, the xml response plist is passed to the waiting observer(s), typically a view controller method, and the results are displayed. I did have a couple of cases where the same view controller was an observer twice, set once in init from nib, and again in view will appear, and it processed the data twice, but I'm weeding those out as I find them.
I just don't understand why, in this one case, the view controller is never seeing the notification. I've put a breakpoint and traced that the notificationis being posted when the page finishes loading, but a breakpoint in the selector method in the observer is NEVER reached.
My goal today, is to change where the request is made from the initial login to the server, to when the view is to appear, and hopefully that will work better. What complicates this particular server call is that there are 5 places a profile can be requested to be displayed, each with it's own VC, each for a different possible profile, and the one that isn't working is the login profile. Go figure.
The notifications are use throughout, as a means to keep everything asynchronous and non-blocking with potential overlapping requests for different view controllers, so I think they are being used properly. It is just weird that this one is failing.
I posted here, just in case there's something I'm doing wrong, such as a typo in the notification name, or filtering out by object or receiver name, that I'm just not seeing because I've looked at it too many times. It's always good to have another pair of eyes.
Well, for now, off to re-arranging where in the code the request is made.

Imessage not being delivered to email

So i sent an imessage to my friend email because thats where shes been texting me from.I sent a imessage and the message doesnt say delivered or nothing but it got sent in blue.the following day I tried again and the same thing.I want to know if it was still sent to her email if it doesnt say delivered and my sms is off.

If there is no red indicator on the message indicating the message was not sent, the message was sent.
I don't pay attention if delivered is provided or not, which is not accurate.

Multi server administration MSXOeprator not getting notified via email

I created mutli server jobs and they are working fine except that I don't get any notification via email.
The target and master are configured with DB Mail and it is working fine. But for the multi server jobs.. it isn't.
I tried the operator that exists in both target and master and also the msxoperator.
What am I doing wrong?

Enable DatabaseMail on the SQL Server Agent -> properties -> Alert System (check the checkbox), and then restart SQL Server Agent.

What is wrong with the iphoto not being able to email pictures?

I reset my password on my email account and reset the mail account password on my macbook air as well. I still get a message stating that the email server didn't recognize my username/password combination. Is there something I am doing wrong? I double checked to make sure the passwords are the same.

See if this works. On iPhotos' menubar, iPhoto > Preferences > General tab.. > Email photos using: Mail

Original Picture not being sent in email!

Good Morning all, So here's my question and thanks for your help. I made a duplicate photo (command+d) which is what I do to every picture I want to add effects to so I know which one's I have altered, so I was trying to send my friend the original and the one I added effects to so he could see the difference, and the only one he can see is the one I added effects to. I got on the phone with Apple care, and each picture has a different name ending in .jpg. I have tried several times to send the original, even by itself, and on my friends end, it shows an attachment, but nothing is there. Does anyone know why I can no longer send the original? I have also tried repairing my permission's but that didn't work. Thanks again for your help!

Try exporting the original (File -> Export) and see it that works. If it does we’ll know the library is okay and can look at the mailing process. IF it doesn’t we’ll need to look at the Library.
Also, how do you go about emailing? What app do you use?

Do I need to go into the apple store?

Check your settings> notification center> and make sure an alert style is selected. I would also check the sounds under settings. Also make sure do not disturb is turned off. If nothing works, try resetting your settings.
