Not being offered update from Build 10041

Despite trying both Fast and Slow settings and checking at least once per day for several weeks, I am not being offereda ny update from 10041.
Additionally, I would like to get any update as an ISO so that I can relocate testing from a laptop to a desktop machine that is configured with dual scanners and printers directly attached.
Suggestions please as to what I should do.

Here is more information and hopefully a better explanation. My version of
LR-5.7 (OS X 10.8.5) apparently does not save the .NEF (Nikon RAW) edits
done in the basic module. That means that I can correct exposure,
highlights, shadows etc. but once I go to another picture and returned to
the edited one the histogram (on the edited photo) and specifically the
clipping triangles are white or some other color. This is normally suppose
to indicate that some channel or all channels are clipped in the
highlight/shadow areas. If I adjust any slider in the Basic panel even as
little as one +/- value or press the J-key, the histogram will now show the
original edit. Moving on to another photo and then returning to to
previously edited one and again the edits are "not saved" and I have to hit
the J-key or adjust a slider to see the previously edited information
reflected in the histogram.
This is especially frustrating for fours reasons. If I have edited a shoot
and return to it I cannot see from the clipping information whether the
original edit was correct and of course I might re-edit it (to some now
incorrect value). This brings up the second issue synchronization. I can't
rely on it because if I go back to fine tune a specific image in the batch
the triangles are white or some other color for that and every image. I have
to hit the J-key to show/hide clipping or the back slash key to see
before/after previews. This is the third issue which is very time consuming
and inefficient regarding my workflow. The forth issue is that I have
noticed that normally when an image is saved in PS, LR adds a copy of the
saved version to its catalogue. I have noticed that the PS to LR saves are
all wrong in terms of exposure (they are much lighter in tone) than the
original LR edit and the PS edit on my screen. If I check the PS to LR photo
in LR I notice that the Basic panel values have been changed and that I have
to sync the image with the originally edited RAW/NEF LR file to get it to
look the same.
Note 1). I am using an Apple cinema display and a calibrated Eizo ColorEdge
monitor to view my NEF files. I have reverted back to using LR 4 however I
am not sure if I should expect compatibility problems with Camera Raw 7.4 in
LR 4 vs. Camera Raw 8.6 in LR 5.
Note 2.) I am going to do an import converting everything to .dng to see if
this is a work around.
Note 3). I would be interested in knowing if this issue is related to the PS
RAW engine ver. 8.6, the Adobe created NEF calibrations or LR 5.
Note 4). I have duplicated this issue in OS X 10.8.5, OS X 9.xx and OS X
10.10.1
Hopefully someone else has noticed this problem. Any shared information

Update from build 9860 to 9879 breaks permissions

After windows 10 applied the update from Build 9860 to 9879, I have experienced a host of problems that appear to be due to broken filesystem permissions caused by the update process itself -:

Trying to fix the filesystem permissions also seems to make things worse -:

folder to even be able to use the PC at all.
It would be good if Microsoft could provide a "FixIt" to correctly set the permissions on these locations, but more importantly fixed the update process to not break them in the first place.

I did a reinstall which was working OK - until I installed the visual studio c++ runtime(s). I have installed the 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013 ones but am unsure which has caused this breakage but am now getting the same contract messages and am

Please check to see if a borderless paper size has been selected before printing.
If borderless printing is enabled, you may experience a cut off on the outside areas of the image. This is the only way that an edge to edge bleed can be done.
To retain the entire image, the bordered option would have to be used for printing.

SQL-Server detection/discovery does not work in win 10 build 10041

I'm using the default .NET-function to detect SQL-server-instances in the network. It works fine in win xp, win7, win8 up to win 2012r2. It also works in earlier win 10 builds, but it's broken in build 10041.
It's reproduceable with the powershell-call
[System.Data.Sql.SqlDataSourceEnumerator]::Instance.GetDataSources()
On other systems the function call takes about 10 to 15 seconds before returning a list of SQL instances in the network. Under win 10 build 10041 it returns immedeately without any results.
Please fix this problem before the final build!

I have a older MacBook I upgraded memory two 3 gb from its original two but it still will not let me update from snow leopard to maverick I have plenty of available ram does anyone know why

I believe it is running an older version of maverick it is 10.6.8 but it will not let me update any further . Not able to update from 10.4.11 up to 10.4.9

Hi all!
I am having a problem that I simply cannot figure out!
I am running Mac OSX Server 10.4.11.
My iMac is the 1st flat panel: PowerPC G4 700 mhz.
I know that when I 1st intalled 10.4, that I went to Apple and did all the Updates as far as I could go - which being a non-Intel was 10.4.9.
Just got the daughter a MacBook, and somewhere, sometime while I was figuring out how to share folders, I am now back down to 10.4.11.
I went back to Apple downloads and am attempting to re-update back to 10.4.9.
But! None of the downloads seem to work!
I think I have tried them all...
single steps (ie: 10.4.2, 10.4.3, 10.4.4, etc)
combo updates (10.4.9 tells me I should be able to get there from 10.4.1)
There are so many different downloads!
Universal, Combo, Intel, PPC, Server, etc.
Being as I am a PowerPC and a Server version, I have tried those labeled "Server Combo PPC" first.
It should work, but it is not.
Any ideas?
Anyone know which updates I really should be using?
BTW, Software Update finds me nothing.

None. Mac OS X 10.4.11 is an update from Mac OS X 10.4.9; the version number is delimited by periods, and each item in the list is treated as a separate number for the purpose of determining what is newer. 11 is higher than 9. The Mac OS X 10.4.9 combo updater will update from Mac OS X 10.4.1, but you're running 10.4.11, not 10.4.1, and there are no free Mac OS X updates available for that OS.

VPN not working after Update from SLS to MLS

Hi folks,
last weekend I updated my Snow Leopard Server following the suggested procedure, installed first Mountain Lion and then OS X Server. Now I have a problem.
Setup:
- Macmini Server located in my private LAN, running SLS as a virtual machine (VMware)
- connected to the Internet via an AVM FritzBox 7270
For HTTP (80) and VPN (500, 1701 and 4500) the ports are forwarded to the virtual machine - everything was working well before the update (access to Website & VPN from both internal and external). The VPN connection is used either with an iPhoen or with my Macbook pro.
The website is still working like expected. VPN service is not working properly anymore. I can access it from internal, but not from external.
So, to make it clear, nothing but the server OS changed in the setup.
Any ideas? Changed ports from 10.6 to 10.8?

Non-Admin not being shown update button on XP

Non-Admin users on XP are not being shown the option to trigger an update.
The mozilla update service is installed but as normal users aren't able to start the update process it never gets as far as starting it.
When a new update is available a link to the download page is shown in the About box rather than a button to start the update.

That is good. It would be better if that were the case with a standard account on Mac OS. I can no longer trust that button because it will start downloading an update if there is one, even though I disabled Firefox updates completely.

Applet not loading in IE from Builder 904

SUMMARY
When I launch my Form from Builder the first time it works. Any subsequent launches from Builder do not work. Instead IE shows HTML in the browser window. The only way to get it to work again is to restart Builder.
If I change my default browser to Firefox this problem does not occur. (However I need to use IE as that is what the clients will use and there are differences in the layout.)

Upon first run from Builder IE shows 'ORACLE FORMS' in the browser area. The Information Bar in IE says
'To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options...'
I click the Information Bar and select Allow Blocked Content. Then the Applet loads successfully.
On subsequent tries I do not get the Information Bar. And the following HTML appears in IE.

This problem occurs with any Form I've tried.
I've tried changing IE security settings to the most insecure settings (for both Internet and Intranet). This hasn't worked.
I've tried Disconnecting and Reconnecting within Builder but that doesn't work. Builder has to be restarted.
I've tried uninstalling JInitiator. After it reinstalls the same problem occurs.

I've found a workaround that I can live with. I made a bookmark in IE to:

Then when I launch the Form from Builder and get the HTML I just click my Bookmark and it works.
