By default any floating-point literal in Java is a double, so the trailing D that specifies that explicitly is redundant.

I may not be making myself clear on what I have done;
Initially, I went through the steps to answer the security questions; I was only able to answer one, then I reached the maximum amount of attempts for the second question.
I then tried the steps; to the page to click on 'manage my id'; then I signed back in and clicked on the line on the left side of page that reads "password and secuirty"; which then states; "We apologize, but we were unable to verify your account information with the answers you provided to our security questions - You have made too many attempts to answer these questions. So, for security reasons, you will not be able to reset password for the next eight hours".
The thing is, I am not and was not trying to reset my password, only the security questions - for the past 2 - 3 hours I have been trying this.
I have also tried to get phone assistance and I keep getting e-mails that Apple has tried to call - no one has called my number, I have been sitting by the phone for the pastg 3+ hours . . . .
I am not sure what else to do at this point.

POSTING ERROR-MESSAGE POSTING BALANCE NOT CLEARED FOR THE PERIOD 2/2008A

I have a problem in payroll posting. While posting for one employee's persn number rejected and gave a message as Posting Balance not cleared for the period 2/2008A. To come out of the problem I changed the Payroll status record using pu03 changed the Erliest Retro date as 01.06.2008. Again tried to post but not posted again same Message displayed. After changing the Erliest Retro record I have not run the payroll for the particular employee. Is it required to run the payroll for the employee after changing the status in PU03. Request to guide on this

The posting may be out of balance for the employee because their credits dont equal their debits...
Do a test posting for the employee with the log on, this will tell you what amounts are being posted - and should give you an inidcation of where the balance is not cleared...
Yes, you would have to re-run the employee if you'd changed the retro date in PU03, but I dont think that will fix your posting problem....Should the employee have retroe'd?
From what I have seen, just changing the control record doesn't usually fix an out-of balance..there is usually another reason....eg wagetype incorrectly posting to the wrong number of accounts....or a missing wagetype on the employee (eg bank details...no /559 for the net pay to go to).

Can not see all the clips in large Icon view in my bin

I arranged my clips in a bin in large Icon view but i can not see all the clips in the bin while in that mode. I see the clips when in list mode or when i drag them out of the bin into the main bin. As soon I drag them back in large icon view bin they do not show up, when going back in list view they are there.
Any idea
Also my daughter accidently pulled the electrical plug, which turned my external hard drive off. So the media was off line. I hit reconnect the clip but the clip does not show as connected in the bin it keeps the Media offline icon but putting the clip in the viewer or time line it plays it. So the clip is reconnected

thanks for your message it helped to show the clips. Here how I solved it. I put the clips i could not see in large Icon view, to the Project folder. Even in the project folder I was only seeing the clips with Thumbnail in list view. When i hit large Icon view the clips disappeared, and they could not have been lower down as i only have about 5 folders in the project. I then clicked arrange the clip by name and they showed up again. Like that i dragged the clip back in to its bin and it showed up. The reason for going back and forth I arranged the clips manually in the bin before and when hitting arrange by name it spread them to far apart and put the clips not in a sequence I liked.
for the second part I followed Neil's suggestion it worked.

Down payment not cleared with invoice trans f-54

Hi All,
I need help with down payment clearing with invoice. Purpose is to have open residual item for not paid invoice part.
I made such steps:
1. Vendor down payment request, trans F-47, (for instance) 90Eur
2. Make down payment, trans F110, 90Eur
3. Vendor invoice receipt, trans. FB60, 115Eur
4. Clear down payment, trans. F-54.
The problem is that clearing document is created, but actually down payment for 90Eur and invoice for 115Eur are not cleared, and residual item for 25Eur is not created. Using payment program (F110) again system suggest to pay whole invoice sum - 115Eur - that is quite dangerous.
I will be very thankful for your help.

Have you cleared down payment against the invoice no. in F-54 ?
If you do so, there will be a link between the invoice & down payment document no. During F110, system will select both the documents together.
Also check in T code FB00 (Editing options) under "Open Items" tab, whether "include invoice reference" check box is selected.
If not, then select this check box & try the transaction once again.

Safari 4 fonts are not clear on the screen.....

I downloaded and installed Safari 4 for Windows over the weekend.
I find that the fonts are not clear...they are actually fuzzy. Right now I have this page side by side with another browser and the type is definitely different.
Any thoughts?

First, try resetting your phone:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.

"Find" button does not clear all the fields properly.

A JSF jsp Query page is created and a set of components are dragged from the Data Control Palette. They include three inputTexts, two buttons (find, submit). Both of the buttons are dragged from the relationship from the Data Control Palette as well.
At the first time the "Find" button is clicked, it clears all three inputTexts. The user can enter query and press submit button and go to the result page. Example:
Zip: 85007
First Name: Tom
Last Name: Smith
But when the user click the "Go back to query page" button on the result page to return to the query page, the "Find" button needs to be clicked 3 times in order to clear all the inputTexts.
Anybody knows how to fix it? Thank you.

I just tried it with DEPT & EMP from HR. The problem is still there.
I dragged a master-detail relationship from the data control palette where DEPT is the master and EMP is the detail. "Find" & "Execute" buttons are also dragged from the DepartmentView1 Operations. When I click "Find" button the very first time, it clears all the fields in DEPT (master) and I can put my query there. For example, I put 50 for DepartmentID then hit "Execute". It gives me 45 details. Then I click "Find" again to do another query. Here comes the problem. "50" is still in the DepartmentID field. If I click "Find" again, DepartmentName Shipping, ManagerId 121 and LocationId 1500 will all appear in the master. If I click "Find" button the 3rd time, it clears all the fields in DEPT for me to enter another query.
I do not think this is the right way for the "find" button to work. Did I do anything wrong? What could be the problem? Please help. Thank you very much.

GR/IR not cleared with F.19

Hello!
I use F.19 to regroup the GR/IR account at month end. I select "GR/IR clearing" on the Parameters tab in order to have the GR/IR account cleared at the same time. Unfortunately the account is not cleared.
Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Try to go on OB74 and check your rules in automatic clearing. You must define the field where the system will read to match items.
Also, this program is being executed in background processing.

Oracle.oc4j.sql.managedconnectionimpl objects are not cleared from the JVM

One of our customer is facing the outofmemory issue, when they connect many users and they go ideal for some times, without doing any operation on the server and when they come back and connect they get Out of memory issue.
For that i just profiled my application and i can see the following objects never get cleared from the JVM.. Following objects not GC.
oracle.oc4j.sql.spi.managedconnectionimpl
oracle.oc4j.sql.xa.iccxaconnection
oracle.oc4j.sql.spi.connectionrequestinfoimpl
oracle.oc4j.sql.managedconnectionimpl
oracle.oc4j.sql.spi.Txstate
oracle.jdbc.driver.logicconnections
We do have a pooling timer running at the back end.
Please suggest is there any why i can make these connections Garbage collected when they are not in use? is there any setting for in oc4j for that?

Safari history will not clear with open windows

I clear my history on Safari but I found the history doesn't really clear if i have other open windows in safari. Everything in the history bar disappears but when you type in URL in a new window, it will predict from a history that should be erased. I do have a workaround.....I have to close all safari windows, clear history, and that gets everything. I would like to not have to close all windows. This just started happening a month or so ago after I upgraded. Any plans to fix this?

The reason you have a clear history button is so history will be cleared It is not clearing if other windows are open.
Correct. It does not clear if other windows are open. This is how all browsers work.
No other browser works that way.
IE 7.06 tells you you have to close the browser after deleting the history to finish removing the history.

Mail box behaviour is not okay using gmail. All mails in INBOX gets replicated in Trash. This is a recent phenomenon. Not clear where the problem lies - in Gmail or in new OS in MAC.

I use MAC Mail box for my gmail account. In the last one month or so, my gmail behaviour is erratic. When I tyrpe mails and send, a spate of intermediate version gets stored as draft in TRASH forcing these to be manually deleted.
Another new issue: All INBOX Mails appear now in TRASH also. If I delete, Trash contents, I lost all mail in INBOX also. I re-created my INBOX content from Archive Mail box. Then all mails appear in TRASH folder alaso.
I am not sure where the problem lies - Is it an issue of Gamil, or new Maverick OS that I use in my MACPRO. This was never before say one or two months before.
The situation is distrubing and please advice whether I should reset any configuration.

I removed all mails sitting in Trash this time by using DELETE command; and then again clicked "REBUILD". Now the Trash is empty. I hope the problem is resolved for now. Thanks for the tips given instantly. Venkat

Down payment against a PO not to exceed the agreed %age of PO value

Dear friends,
Here's my problem:
Scenario 1.: While doing F-48 (downpayment to vendors), how can we ensure that the down payment made against a purchase order should not exceed the agreed percentage of total value? This means that advance should be made as per the payment terms given in the PO. PO field in F-48 has already been made mandatory.
For Example if 10% advance is agreed upon, then the system should not pay beyond 10%.
Scenario 2.: My client has payment terms with various vendors such that a part of PO value would be paid in advance. %age of advance may vary from vendor to vendor. Can this be done in SAP? Can we have such Payment terms in PO or vendor master with a provision by which either a Down Payment Request , for say 10%, is triggered as soon as a PO is generated or the system should not allow a manual downpayment (F-48) for more than the agreed %age?

Not clear with the order status.

I tried placing an order for unlimited europe subcription yesterday via debit card but was declined saying issuing bank doesn't allow such transactio. Then I chose WU, which I had tried using before but coulnd't get a merchant who knew of skype. This time it said the order accepted, status shown as pending and read that it will be updated regarding payment in 24 hrs. A day gone can I know what next.
