I live in Bangkok Thailand and it is actually a rainy season but it's hot like **** right here. Mostly I use my MBP for chatting, browsing the web and of course codings. Since my work doesn't really need a monster CPU, I want to downgrade or reduce the cpu clock speed to prevent from MBP burning the owner most of the time with its heat. I know this is not a common thing since most people only interested in overclocking. I have 2GB of memory and I've been thinking and found no solution on the net. Well since the MBP can slow down it's CPU while running on the battery, I assume it can be done by some ways. Any solution?

My last solution would be removing the battery of course but is there any other way? coz' some ppl were saying that apple doesn't actually recommand users to use without having the battery on the laptop even if the battery does not work. Isn't this method will demage the CPU?

Anybody can access the App Store - even without an Apple ID.
What are you saying? You cannot access your purchased apps with your new ID? If you are, that is the way that it works. If you set up a new Apple ID - you can't update the apps that you bought with the old ID. You have to continue to update the purchased apps with the old ID and password since purchases are always tied to the ID that made the purchases.
If you need to sign into your new ID you can do that in Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap th old ID and sign out then sign in with the new one. -
why is my billing information not being review correctly...like it sayes my apple id has not yet been used in the itune store and it tells me to review my account info but for some reason it doesnt work

I do not have an Apple computer, I have had Itunes previously but had not used it for some time, I have Itunes gift cards but can not get ,on to use them. I have tried to download Itunes again but the following keeps poping up, "The Itunes library is locked on a locked disc, oryou do not have write permission for this file." How can I overcome this?
To solve this issue all I did was check to ensure that the file permissions were set as described by the earlier posts, followed by simply deleting the iTunes Library Genius.itdb file. Once the file was deleted I was able to open iTunes without difficulty. Note that I am running Windows 8. Hope this helps!

I am trying to update my software through the app store but for some reason an error occurs and will not allow me to do so. And when i go online to log into my apple id account it states that there is an error. Can someone help me solve this issue, its annoying me?

Do you have one, two or more entries in the left colum of Mail.app for your mail server(s)? That is, do you have your Mail.app set up with either a btinternet entry, with a btyahoo entry, or both? Or more?
I'm guessing that you might have one account (btyahoo?) listed for incoming (IMAP server) mail, and with the outbound (SMTP server) mail is configured and named btinternet.
Based on what little I see posted, it looks like BT uses both btinternet and btyahoo, but I'm not exactly clear on how they have their stuff set up, and their web set gets helpful and tries to help configure my mail — I don't immediately see a single web page with the mail server set-up details. I just bought a new printer for my iMac version 10.7 Lion but I am able to install the software but for some reason I am not able to view the printer under system preferences to add the printer. It is connected with the USB cord!! It as if the printer does not show up in the add printer section under system prefernces!!
I checked the manufacturer and apple site to see if my printer is supprted and it said it was!! I am using the HP officedeskjet 4500 G510a-f (HP Officejet 4500 Desktop)!! Still does not show up under add printers please help!!

Hi, I have backed up 2 IMACs and one Mac Book Pro but for some reason, the 3rd IMAC come up with this problem: The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data/Anthony’s iMac.sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error -1). Why? The computer system is up to date and I have had no issue with the other computers, just this one.

I would like to sync Notes between my MacBook Air and the IPhone and/or IPad. I used to tick a box in Itunes (info), but for some reason it is no longer there. How do I go about doing the sync?
The only way to sync Notes is through a mail server. If you don't want to use iCloud, you'll have to use some other mail account, or run your own mail server under OS X Server. The latter is a job for advanced users only.

I installed Nik:s suite of plug-ins for LR5 but for some reason not all of them were installed. In the end I uninstalled all of the Nik programs from my Mac but before I reinstalled them I opened LR5 again to check. Under "photo" and "edit in" the plug-ins were still presented but no programs opened, of course. after reinstalling the plug-ins one of the programs appeared twice in the list but not the others. I´m going to reinstall them again and I´m wondering if there is anyway of erasing the links to the plug-ins under "photo" and "edit in" ???
Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)

perfect. ok do the following:
settings > mail, contacts, calendars > go into the exchange account. You should have an email in the account field...[email protected] or [email protected], etc.... I am assuming you don't remember the password to this exchange account so once you know the email, you can go to email providers site and click on forgot password and you will go through the steps to get a new password. Once you do this, you will need to go back into your "exchange account " and the field that has the exchange email > touch the > to open settings. Change the password to your new password you got from above. Once you do this, you can add the exchange account to your ipad and all of your contacts will sync to both devices.

Are you sure you have a 3GS and not a 3G? The 3G cannot be updated to iOS5. What version are you on now?... Settings > General > About > Version
