Not complaining, just asking - date for flash 8 for Linux?

Hi,
Just wondering if there's a release date/month/year for flash
player 8 for Linux. I'm sure it is incredibly hard to port, blah
blah blah, but in all the software companies I've worked in, I've
had to work to deadlines, and give reasonable estimates. If you
have any vitriolic redneck abuse to add, please do it somewhere
else, I don't want to be associated with you. Thanks :-)

be part of 8.5
(now to be known as Flash Player 9) .. if they ported FP8

MM/Adobe are
being quite sensible and responsible about this by making the
port part of
the new FP9 instead of delaying things for all concerned to
get out a FP8
port that would then be immediately out of date.

After a long time of googling finally I got the problem resolved. The steps I followed are as follows:
Go To SSO Adminnistration -> System -> Restore Secret and select the secret file.
If you dont know the path of the secret file try once in the location "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Enterprise Single Sign-On".
Select the file and provide the password. Once the master secret restores the error will not come.

So it sounds as though you wiped your drive and it can't find the system (OS startup) folder because there is none (folder with ?).
One more question: did your machine come with Lion?? Or did you purchase it at the app store? If it came with the machine, then it would not show in the app store.
You tried recovery and said it "made an internet recovery" - when you booted up with Command + R, did you at first see a spinning globe? If not, there was no internet recovery. Try restarting with Command + Option + R - on older machines, that is internet recovery (if your machine supports it). You should wind up with a screen like this:
Is this what you saw before? You can erase your drive in Disk Utility. When done, you need to click on Reinstall OS X - it will then go to Apple's servers and download the entire OS. Once downloaded (may take a while unless you have a blazing connection), it will install. It should also recreate a new recovery partition.

FaceTime and iMessage just asked me for a password

I turned on the iPad today and when I went to Settings>FaceTime and Settings>Messages, each one forced a dialog box that requested for myassword. It's the first time I've seen it request for a password wheen I was already logged in. I couldn't access the area until I input my password. Restrictions were off.
Has anyone seen this happen before? And what causes that to appear?

It's a security feature that requires your Apple ID password when activating iMessage or FaceTime from the settings menu. It asks me for a password too, and I'm fairly sure it's always been there.

Sound in PDFs not playing - suse - latest Reader for linux (7.0.9?)

I have a pdf that has sound files incorporated into it somehow and I can't get them to play. I am using the latest available adobe reader for linux and I have suse linux, I forget what version but not too old. When I click on the link for the sound, absolutely nothing happens. I know it does work because it works at work on Vista. I am not sure whether there are actual sound files in there or if they are links to files on the internet. I suspect maybe they are links because it also will not work in windows XP with Reader 8 on a computer not connected to the internet. However, I have been able to find no information on this, so I don't have a clue.
Is sound in pdfs a Reader 8 only feature? Does it just not work in Linux? Is there any way to be able to listen to those audio clips?

So you mean there is a release coming out that will solve my problem? Does anyone know when?
(The only thing I've found is stuff written in December last year saying they will release Reader 8 for linux/Unix soon. Soon has been and gone since then ;) )

RHEL6x64.1.0.0.4014.tar Not Found in ConfigMgr Clients for Linux

I'm looking to download RHEL6x64.1.0.0.4014.tar from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36212, after extraction of the ConfigMgr Clients for Linux, I only have the RHEL4 and a few others, What's going on? The website states
RHEL6 is included. but I can't find it. Please Enlighten me! :)

Use Universalx64.1.0.0.4648.tar. This package covers all of the supported Linux distros *except* RHEL 4 and SLES 9, which are really old and required us to create a separate package.
Also, we would recommend that you pick up the ConfigMgr Linux clients for 2012 R2, even if you are still running 2012 SP1. You will still want the "Universal" package. And note that the version number on the R2 package (4580) is less than
the version number on the SP1 package (4648). This is confusing but correct -- the 4580 package is later.

Why is AssistiveTouch not in the ask menu for triple-click home?

I am very new to apple, never been a big fan but I could not rap my head around the droid OS. So in my sweep through the settings menu to get acquainted with the settings I discovered the triple-Click home options, and after messing with them I found that I had a use for all the settings so my natural instinct is to just try the ask setting. And to my dismay I find that AssistiveTouch is not a selection, so here I find myself asking this question... Is there some kind of issuse with having that there? Or what? So any response would be appreciated.

If it is a major road block try the "Toggle AssistiveTouch". Not sure why it wouldn't be there though.

Portal not displaying all the data for transaction

hi we have a transaction called s_alr_86012326 in the gui...
when we execute the transaction in the gui we can see a lot of data but i am not able to see besides 1 entry thru the portal. any idea why?
besides this there is one more issue...
when i log in with the test id from one another system i am not able to see the iview itself..what happens is that it presents a dialogue box aas the new window opens and prompts me to save a file or cancel it... the file got a strange extension

The Pop Up is coming because you don't have SAP Logon Pad (SAP GUI) installed in that computer. Just installed it and the pop up will go.
Regarding the transaction not displaying data, check ur authorization in backend i.e. check the authorization of the user to which ur portal user is mapped.

Batch quantity not deducting when FIRST date (for line item) is in future.

            My requirement is when creating sales order for batch managed materials, if i give any quantity with future date that is,
if todays date is 02.07.2010 and if i create sales order..
material    => mat1
Quantity   => 20
Date   => 12.07.2010     (this is not required delivery date,this is first delivery date in schedule line for that item)
Batch => B1
and initially if Batch B1 has quantity 100 ,after saving this sales order, the quantity must be 80.
but its not deducting, for future dates ,thats why the same batch is showing quantity 100, next time
when i m creating new sales order.where as it should show 80.
where exactly the quantity deduction is carried out (include or PAI PBO modules).
any hints.

Stock transfer are not showing correct expire date for Shelf life subcontracting

We have shelf life active for PPDS. We had added 5 characteristic to have min and Max shelf life in APO so that data will be considered during pegging.
Self life works perfectly fine for production plant where based on manufacture date min shelf life is considered.

Question is for sub contracting process stock or inventory date is giving back dated where when we run planning run stock is getting expired.

When you plan subcontracting in SNP following is generated.

Usually first and third items will get converted to Purchase orders and will vanish as and when Goods Receipts are posted against them.
The second order may not get converted in SAP. Tis will remain in the system. But in the next planning run, these will be deleted if the quantities have been already fulfilled.

System does not reset asset retirement date for Depreciation Area specific transaction after area has been deleted

Good day,
I needed to create a new depreciation area in a live system. The depreciation area would not post to the GL, but would be used for tax purposes in a currency other than the local currency. When creating this area the asset values were translated at the system exchange rate which did not agree with the values of the manually maintained tax register. I proceeded by creating new transaction types that would only post to the new area, one of which was an asset disposal transaction, which would be used for downward adjustment of the APC value. I made my adjustments at the end of the previous financial year, but had to start over and proceeded to delete the depreciation area to allow me to start over.
After reinstating the depreciation area, my original adjustments were removed, however the assets which APC values needed to be adjusted downward using the disposal transaction, was giving me the AA 478 Posting transaction is not possible (value date not allowed) error.
I've reviewed the asset postings and there is no record of my original adjustment documents. The problem seems to be that field ANLA-ABGDT (Last Retirement Date), is still indicating the date of my previous adjustments and that this was not updated when the Depreciation Area was deleted and reinstated.
Again, I do not have any documents which I can access or reverse to update this table. Is there any way to clear this field without reversing the disposal document?
I'm also looking at implementing SAP note 1618286, to make error message AA478 a warning. I could not implement SAP note 533378 since it only supports component version 46c and we are currently running component verson 605.
I would appreciate your consideration of my problem.

If you are in Test System, you can use function module AA_AFABER_DELETE to totally delete the depreciation area (tcode SE37, specify chart of depreciation and depreciation area), After that recreate your depreciation area and run AFBN. But before you do that, have you created a retirement transaction type that limits the posting on your new depreciation area? If not create one.

EWM ERROR - Could not determine ERP stock data for: Stock Type F2

I am trying some scenarios in Physical inventory process in EWM. When I posted the differerences in Difference Analyser, message that the material document .xxxxx... created. But could not see any document in ERP for the differences. Hence, double clicked the message " Material document xxxxx.... created", the message then poped up saying that the update error.
From SAP Inbox, I could locate above error, but unfortunately there was no short dump or error in PI document. The configuration related to stock types and availability groups etc are already mapped.
Any diea to resolve this lwill be of great help.

1. In ewm material document posted means its a ewm document not ERP document.
then have you posted the difference in difference analyzers??
if you have posted the difference then check queues in erp and ewm. It might be possible you have queue stuck with details info.
