Not deactivated licenses at computer-reset. Whom to contact?
I am using Photoshop Elements 7. One PC with license was reset without before deactivating the license and was given away. The second one was now reset, again I forgot to deactivate the license bbefore. Installing the programm was ok, but PC does not accept the license code as according to Adobe 2 computers are activ. Whom may I contact to get the old activations deactivated so that I can use it again. All docs are available. I just need a link or an email-address to contact. Was unable to find it at Adobe-pages.

80gb iPod classic, only about 2200 songs on it. was playing one of the preinstalled gams on the ipod while on the bus today, and it froze as it was loading. so i did the normal thing to reset it and when it started back up it says there is 'no music' on it. it didn't really erase everything did it? it was not connected to my computer and it's never done this before. HELP!
The music and content is probably still there, but is no longer recognizable by your iPod's software. Could be the result of a corrupt db file that maps out the music and it's location on your iPod's drive. Have you tried another reset to see if that helps at all? A shot in the dark, but it can't possibly make the situation any worse at this point.
Is the content that is currently on your iPod classic still in your iTunes library? If so, simply connect your iPod to iTunes and restore it to factory settings. Then sync all your songs and such back over to it.

I made the mistake of resetting my iPod to factory defaults. Now it will only partially sync to my music library. I continually get an error message saying that certain songs are not authorized for my computer, although they are in the iTunes library on the computer and will play. It's these songs that won't transfer to the iPod. I have deauthorized and re-authorized the computer but no joy. Any ideas?

I was thinking that some of the songs in your library may have been purchased under a different apple id. You have already done the first thing I would have done by de authorizing and re authorizing. To verify this, highlight one of the songs that will not sync over and use File>Get Info. In the Summary section there will be an Apple ID entry. If it shows something different than what you are currently using then I recommend signing into the Apple ID it shows and authorizing the computer for that one as well.

My iphone 4 is not working and I cant reset it from the computer either because it wont connect to it I need help!!!
1. I tried connecting it to itunes for a system reset and it didnt work.
2. The phone wont even turn on!!!If the phone wont turn on it sounds like it needs to be charged. Plug it into a charger and wait about 15 minutes and try turning it on while still charging. Have you tried holding in your home button with the on/off button held in? Hold them both together until the apple logo comes up and then release them. The screen will blink off an on while it is resetting. I still think this is a battery issue. Good luck~

Reset Printing System does not exist on my computer!!!
I have been trying to get my HP PSC 2175 to print and working with HP support to do this. It just prints out blank pages. The last thing they sent me was to Reset the printing system using the Printer Setup Utility. And they sent me to the below link:

For whatever reason, the "Reset Printing System" DOES NOT EXIST on my computer. I actually sent screen captures to show them. The first showed my
version of the Printer Setup Utility (3.0) and the second showed the
Printer Setup Utility menu - with no such option. I am running OS 10.4.4 and have all of the updates. I even opened the Printer Setup Utility holding down the "option" key.
Does anyone know how to reclaim this feature???

ericAfter all of the emails back and forth with HP, I have really only done two things: A complete manual uninstall - which is a royal pain in the butt. That is worse than any uninstall with windows, and way worse than Class MacOS. Then they kept trying to get me to Reset the Printing system - which is what I can't do.
I upgraded to Tiger via a DVD - straight from the box. I had 10.3.x, bought Tiger and upgraded. I have since updated it via the website. I think what I just installed was the combo updater - but I don't think it really did anything as I had already done that.
If there is a better way to go, please let me know. I searched all over Apple's site for just that piece of the printing system, but unlike the old OS, there doesn't seem to be a way to download those components. -

Sammyhunter lets get you back in action! Has there been any physical/water damage to the device? Try pressing and holding the home and power button together. Once the Apple symbol appears release both buttons. Keep us posted!

1GB 1st Generation iPod Nano USB Device Not Recognized on any computer
I just recently received a free 1st generation 1GB iPod nano from a friend because they couldn't get it to work. I figured I'd take a crack at it and hopefully get a working, free iPod out of the deal...
It already had music loaded on it (mostly a bunch of garbage), so like anyone else in my position I proceeded to reformat the little sucker and wipe its slate clean.
Here is what happens when I try to connect the nano to ANY computer:

This was the original problem I was having with my desktop PC which is running Windows XP Home with SP2 and all the latest Windows updates. It is running iTunes 7.5.0.20, w/ latest iPod updater software version 1.2.3.
Prior to testing the 1st gen. 1GB iPod nano, I had been charging and syncing my 5th generation 60GB iPod classic on my desktop PC using the same exact cable. All of my USB ports are in working, functional condition and order. I even have “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” unchecked under USB Root Hub Properties.
I tried a couple different USB ports and I used another cable, no luck. So I moved on to my Fujitsu laptop running Windows Media Center Edition, all latest Windows updates, same version of iTunes and iPod software (the difference being that I DO NOT sync any iPods to it, nor do I have any music on it). SAME EXACT PROBLEM, same message bubble, same entry in device manager, and same lack of driver availability.
Thinking maybe it’s just a “PeeCee” thing I dug out my old PowerBook G4 running the ancient Mac OS 10.2. Keep in mind this thing only has a 400 MHz G4 processor, 512MB RAM, 30GB hardrive, and USB 1.1 ports. The iPod nano wouldn’t even give a hint that it existed when I plugged it in.
I have tried every single little Apple trick available. I’ve done the forced restart while connected and while not connected to the computer. I’ve done forced disk mode while connected and while not. I’ve run iTunes diagnostic tests on connected devices. I’ve messed with USB port settings. I’ve tried two different USB 2.0 iPod cables. I tested my dad’s 8GB 2nd generation iPod nano to see if it linked up with my desktop and my laptop IT DOES. I even tried my 60GB 5th gen iPod classic OVER AGAIN to see if it still worked, IT DOES.
Also, this 1st gen iPod nano will not charge when hooked to the computer through USB. When I plug it in, between the time it’s plugged in and when the “USB device recognized” bubble pops up the battery icon shows it is charging, but as soon as that bubble pops up it disappears and discontinues pretending to charge.
On my Fujitsu laptop, I uninstalled everything having to do with Apple. I uninstalled iTunes, Apple Software Update, everything. Restarting after it all of course. Then I installed the old iPod Software Updater from 6-28-2006. I was pretty sure this wouldn’t work because the iPod isn’t even recognized by the computer. In order for the iPod to work in the iPod Software Updater or iTunes it has to first be recognized at the basic Windows level. Which it isn’t…
I have done research all across the net and the only real answer I found was that the iPod Nano’s internal USB controller is dead. I’m 99% sure it has nothing to do with my laptop, desktop, USB cables, software, or drivers. What do you guys think?Nope I have not figured anything out since I posted this. The closest answer I've found is that it's the internal USB controller which has gone bad. If that's the case than there is really nothing more I can do.
I did find one opening and that was the diagnostic screen. You get to it by holding down the Menu and Center buttons, as soon as the iPod resets hold down the Left and Center buttons, the iPod will beep and then it will go to a diagnostic screen. Maybe somewhere in there you can find the problem I don't know how to use it though. -
I have a new desktop and re-installed my identity from my airtime back up and on the log in page my picture comes up with my usual password hint, but it is not accepting my password and I do not have the option to reset using my apple id - that particular function is in grey and cannot be clicked on
Depending on what kind of computer you have, you're gonna need to put that backup in the appropriate folder or itunes is not gonna be able to see it for you to use.
