Not Displaying Canvas/Viewer

I cannot see the video/graphics in the viewer!! I've tried multiple options, from changing it to RGB only, Color, etc....but there is nothing displaying. I've even opened up a premade Motion template to make sure, and still nothing!? It may be something very basic (I am still learning the program) but I haven't figured it out yet! Help.

I'm not at my FCP machine right now but all of those are windows and they can be opened or closed from the VIEW (or is it WINDOW) menu. There are keyboard shortcuts, too.
You may need to invoke one of the stock LAYOUTS to get everything back on your screen if you had moved some of the windows off your monitor and forgot to bring them back into position before shutting down last time.

Opening PopUp window not displaying 1st view in background

I developed WDA with Tree UI element. now on click of childnode (UI elemment TreeItemType), i am opening window. below is the code that i put in method.

also i embeded view V_JOBCODE inside window W_JOBCODE.
my requirement is that when this window gets opened, my earlier view should be displayed in background. Now when the window is getting opened, the ealier view is not displayed at all. earlier i developed another WDA where i am displaying window on click of URL to Action UI element and there i am able to see the 1st view in background. I checked all things but not sure why for my current WDA, i am not able to see 1st view in background.
Please let me know if anyone has any clue.

Photo albums not displayed when viewing my website

I have a website for my band www.lastarrow.combut the photos page isn't displaying properly.
It should look like this:

But it is displaying like this:

The page was fine a couple of weeks ago, the only recent change is that I've had to remove the domain name from mobileme (because I now have two websites & domain names) and just have www.lastarrow.com redirect to http://web.me.com/andywoodhouse/Last_Arrow/Home.html

Can anyone offer any help on this?
I tried changing some of the attributes of the photos page (changing the photo album borders) and republished but they are still not displaying.
I have also done a test by publishing to folder and opening it in a browser and it works perfectly fine.

Try using the File->*Publish All to MobileMe* menu option to republish your site. See if that will work. I see you're at the latest iWeb version, 2.0.4, so that's not a factor.

Preview not displaying List View Data past first row

I guess this is a simple question. I have my Excel model working the way I wish it to. The components before preview are functioning accordingly. When Preview is run, the data in the two spreadheet tables is not displayed past the first row.
Basically, is there some gremlin within Flash that is ignoring or deleting the functions (VLOOKUP) in the targeted display area? By all rights, this should be working, and I am kind of surprised that it isn't

If the data is static, it will display. My research turned up that VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP functions will not display after the first row of data.

My problem is that in making the data dynamically selectable, and using multiple functions to bring results to the top of the spreadsheet instead of their respective locations; it has created a situation where I have an Excel model that works, but an Xcelsius model that does not.
Doesn't look like there really is a solution to what I am trying to do, short of completely rebuilding the model, which I do not have the ability to replicate.

PDF files not displayed on View Output via Citrix

Running OraFin via Citrix, we are generating custom AR invoices as XML converted to PDFs via XML Publisher then are attemping to view the invoices as PDFs in Adobe Reader. The process works fine for the most part, but some users find that the ability to view the PDFs stops suddenly. IE displays a blank window without any indication that Adobe Reader is being called. The problem persists until we kill the Adobe Reader process for that user (AcroRd32.exe) using the Citrix server's Windows task list utility. The problem has not occured outside of Citrix. Anyone have this experience? Any advice on what might overcome the problem?

Does this happen with other PDFs on the server? You might check out the Adobe forums.

Mail not displaying Message Viewer window

Hi,
Just installed Lion on a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac. After installing Lion, Mail refuses to display the message viewer window. I can open 'file > new message' and 'file > new note' windows but when selecting 'new viewer window' nothing happens, the same if I select 'Mail > Preferences'. Mail seems to be connecting and downloading messages okay but I can't view them!
Any help appreciated!

Simular problem:
Its iMail Version 6.3 (1503) which comes with a fresh install of 10.8.3.
Any email base64 encoded is corrupted or not shown.
eg Any message from and Exchange Client that has both plain text and html in the same message where the plain text section is Base64 encoded.

The work arround it to switch to the classic view, open the message there, then switch back to the modern view and the text of the message magically appears. Its probably something to do with the way in which the new iMail processes message bodies, that the older style viewer had fixed. (You can switch between classic view and modern view under the Vieweing preferences tab)
It also seems to impact sent messages or anything thats been base64 encoded.
Hopefully its such a major bug it will be fixed soon. (lol, like some of the bugs in iMail on 10.6.8 were fixed ?)

NULL value in LOV not displaying in Viewer as NULL

Discoverer Viewer: 10.1.2.54.25 CP4
I have a list of values ('A','B','C',NULL).
In desktop the drop down shows
A
B
C
NULL
However in viewer I get
A
B
C
When I select the area just under C, which I presume to be NULL, it allows me to move it over. However when I'm ready to run the query, it informs me that I have not selected a value. I can manually key in NULL and the query will execute without a hitch.
What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you need.
But your LOV show the DNAME and return the DEPTNO, so of course the LOV will return the DEPTNO even if the DNAME is null.
To return null if the DNAME is null, indeed you can use decode but in the return value :
select dname d, decode(dname,null,null,deptno) r
from test_dept
order by 1

Enum value not displaying in view - correct method to display in column?

Having trouble with certain columns not populating in my custom class. I know I must have entered them incorrectly, hoping someone can shed some light on it.
Its a custom work item class, so I borrowed the Work Item Status property but am obviously referencing it wrong...
under my class properties its listed as follows:

Look at other views in Service Manager's management packs to get insight into how enum columns are configured.
Change your binding paths to Status.DisplayName, Source.DisplayName, and Target_FSL.DisplayName respectively. You have to bind your columns to your object properties, not your lists.

Colors not displaying when viewing PDF files

Recently I've discovered that when viewing PDF files I'm not seeing all of the colors in the charts. This is happening with PDF files that I made as recently as last year (when everything looked fine). It's also happening with files that other people at other organizations have made. If I go to a coworkers computer and pull up the files, I can see everything just fine. Also, when I print the files, everything comes out just fine. Any ideas as to why I'm not seeing things correctly on my machine? I'm using a Dell laptop, Windows 7, Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, Microsoft Word 2010. I've also been having problems with graphics disappearing when converting Word files to PDF files but that's a topic I'll post on the Acrobat page. Seems like it may all be related to my new laptop. Attaching an image of what I see when I view the PDF file and a screen shot of the Word file with the color in which does print even though I can't see it. I can see some of the colors in the PDF file but not all of them.

The problem with ie9 or ie8 gets more complicated, since the alt key works on some files, one example is:

The files where it does not work are placed on sites that require sign in with a digital signature, so it is impossible to give urls to the files.
With screen readers and with pdf files in the browser, the normal way of getting to the
address bar does not work, but that is not really a problem but a minor irritation, and not a new behavior.

Parameter not displayed in View requests but being displayed in reports 6i

i have an issue with report in apps ebs 11i
whenever i submit the report "Supplier payment Advice" under view requests
there is a parameter called check_number entered by user ,when the user enters param for check_number as 114 ,the report does not give output for 114 ,the report works for all other check_numbers
when i did FTP of this rdf file and opened in reports builder 6i
i did enter check_number 114 and the output for 114 was given
why didn't it show in apps?

Is this a standard concurrent program? From what responsibility you run this request?
Does the concurrent program show any error/warning messages in the log file when you enter "114" as a parameter?
Enable trace/debug and see if you get more details in the logs.

Report not displaying in viewer

I have a system I developed in vs2005 for a windows 2003 server. I am trying to now get it to work on windows 2008 r2 server.
I bought VS2010, installed crystal reports. Fixed all the errors. When I test it, the viewer comes up but the actual report is blank. It pages through 3 pages, but there is no report. The reports are crystal xi sp6.
Also, how do I get rid of the tree?

The version of CR and symptoms described in the above may not be exactly as in your case, but the solutions may lead you to an answer.

Final Cut Express 4 - Can not display CANVAS or TIMELINE

In just one of my projects the Canvas and Timeline doesn't appear.
Window>Arrange>Standard does not affect this. Selections for Canvas and Timeline are all grey'd out. My Browser window shows the tabs for my sequence and Effects tab. Clicking or double clicking this doesn't help.
Think I must have used some combination of keys to get in this spot. Other projects are not affected. Is there a set of keys that I need to use.

I am presently doing a 'render all' that will take 45 minutes. I thought more of what you said. Since I have not worked on this project in 6 months. (Somewhere along the line I decided to do an iDVD Archive and had deleted the original FCE project. I did have the ability to rebuild everything until I discovered that I had lost my TimeLine and Canvas.
I thought this was because I had hit some function key by mistake and therefore Timeline and Canvas were lost. In rebuilding, tonight, from an Document>Final Cut Documents> Autosave I was able to go to one of these version. Almost all the input, photos, video clips from old clips, iTunes, etc came back as "not connected" I deleted all those "bins" and File>Import>folder to those items. It turns out my Sequence was under a BIN and when I deleted that bin by TimeLine and Canvas disappeared.
Now I have renamed the BIN so as to contain the Sequence 1, for the project.
It turned out so far to be quite painless. Did learn the importance of the Sequence and its relationship to TimeLine and Canvas. Although I must admit I don't understand that relationship?
Rendering now says 2 hours for completion. It is almost enough to think about investing the grand to go to Final Cut Pro (not something I can convince my wife as she thinks I spend far too much time on this stuff.
Again, thank you for jogging my memory to think about previous versions such as the remark to use the AutoSave feature of FCE. As a side note I set that to every 15 minutes just a few days ago. I often get sidetracked and forget what I am doing and need the extra protection of what FCE does for me without me thinking about it.
I will leave this open until I know the above procedures worked. Still doesn't explain deleting a Sequence deletes the Timeline and Canvas. Any explanation on that? Thank you so much - now I will be able to sleep without worrying about this.

Mail does not display in viewing window. Please help

Hi, I have been told to come and post this here.... I think I put it on the wrong board. I am receiving my mail into inbox but it will not show on the screen. I have a pop account for myself and a secondary account for my partner. His mail is showing on the screen but mine is not. I am a real techno phobe and am hopeless, so please if anyone does know how to fix this, I can only follow simple instructions....sorry to be a pain.

Ok, so that wasn't it, since your preview pane is clearly there.
So, if it just happened, and if you have done nothing that you know that should affect this, perhaps the problem is on the mail account provider's end, not yours.
For example, I have my Gmail automatically forwarded to another email account; on a couple of occasions, mail on Gmail has just not shown up in the other account for several hours (almost a full day, once). Not sure where the problem was, but it wasn't me
So, you might check the website of your mail account provider to see if there's a problem on their end (either an announcement or in the help/support section of the site). Especially if your partner's account is with the same provider, but even if your partner's account is with a different provider, I'd still recommend checking with your provider.

View the .rtf file not display the data in BI Publisher Enterprise.
Step 1, I created Answer-request, create .rtf file with Word and add the request name, Add bar chart and table, preview PDF is working fine with data, Upload this template to Answers, View Template from Answer is working fine with data.
Step 2, Answers – More Products > BI Publisher > My Folders > Create a new report > Edit > Data Model > New > Type: SQL Query > Data Source: Oracle BI EE > Query Builder > from SupplierSales assign Customer, Periods, Sales Facts (select Region, state, Year, Units Shipped) > Results > Save > Save
Click Layouts > New > enter Name ….. > Click Layouts > borrows .rtf file in Manage T file > Upload > Save > Click View
It is showing only the .rtf file without data. Why there is no data?
Please guide me to solve this issue.

Our scenario is this report is basically a dissconnected mode report... we are developing these reports for mobile clients.
We dint face this kind of issue while developing other reports.
