Not enough nodes found

I'm going to simulate a SPN1N60C3 MOSFET from Infineon (Level1-model).
I've got a Spice Netlist Error for the MOSFET saying "Not enough nodes found".
Is there somebody who can tell me what does it mean in order to find out the reason for that error?
Thanks

Thanks Kittmaster,
here are the models:

  • Not Enough Nodes Found netlist error

    I am working on a project for a voltage multiplier/divider and am working off this schematic from texas instruments (I have attached a pdf of it). When I try to simulate the circuit, I get an netlist error on every LM101AD Opamp saying Not Enough Nodes Found and the circuit doesnt work as it is support to. I have attached the circuit in multisim and the original drawing. Thanks for your help, -Alex

    The reason for the error message is that there are more nodes on the opamp's model than are mapped to those nodes. This component has multiple models, and this is a problem in the database only with the default Linear Technology/LM101A model.
    You can select the model in the Place a Component dialog when you place or replace a component (look for Model manuf./ID).
    I've made these.changes to your file. It will now simulate without errors, but the rated capacitor blows up. I haven't looked in detail if this is what to expect (electronics is not my forte).
    I've also added this to our defect tracker so we can resolve this in a future release and improve the error message.

  • Error in simulation: Not enough nodes found

    Hello i am trying to simulate a simple active filter ckt using MAX9618. However, i keep getting error as Not enough nodes in my schematic I have attached the schematic for reference.
    Can anyone please help me understand why am i getting this error?
    If I remove U2B component in the schematic, i observed that I don't get the above mentioned error?
    I am a complete newbie to multisim...

    Hi,
    The way you created the op-amp section B is likely the problem. The model has 5 nodes while your section B symbol only has 3 pins.  Refer to the following tutorial, to learn how to create multi-section part with different symbols:

  • LM2902 "not enough nodes" error

    I'm using Multisim 11.0.278.
    I designed an EQ circuit that includes the model LM2902N.  The first time I tried to simulate it, the netlist generator complained that the model should have a node called "VS-", but the netgen couldn't find it because it's actually called "GND".
    I renamed the GND pins VS- and saved the corrected model in my User component library.  Then I replaced the old LM2902s with the new one.
    Now, when I try to simulate, I get a different error saying "not enough nodes found" in the LM2902.
    How do I fix this?
    The schematic in question is attached.

    EQ.ms11 ‏262 KB

    replacing the LM2902N components in your circuit with the equivalent in the database gave me no netlist issues and solved any that were in your circuit.
    The likely cause of your current issue is the model mapping. If the model nodes are not properly mapped within the model tab of the component, you will get the not enough nodes error.
    This can be fixed by going to.
    1) Tools > Database > Database Manager
    2) Locate you component in the components tab and select "Edit" (the component needs to be in your user or corporate database)
    3) Once in the model tab of the component editor, ensure the table is shown.
    If there are any pins showing NC, that is likely the cause of the not enough nodes found error. You will need to add the mapping for the NC node.(the order depends on the model in use and is usually written at the top of the model)

  • Not enough available disk space...

    I know this has been asked a bunch of times but the threads I've found never really seemed to come to a conclusion with a solution. My wife has a white, 2 GHz Intl Macbook that is about 4 1/2 years old. We upgraded the hard drive a little over a year ago to a 500 GB, Seagate I believe. At the end of May, my wife downloaded a software/security update of some sort and suddenly her computer was acting up. Long story short, we had to reformat the hard drive, start fresh, and use the latest back-up to restore her computer. Since then, her computer has not done a back-up and now when trying to get it to do a back-up we get the following in Time Machine Buddy:
    Starting standard backup
    Backup destination alias resolved to path: /Volumes/Data
    Disk image /Volumes/Data/Keri  VanDyke’s iBook G4_0017f2f4ea69.sparsebundle mounted at: /Volumes/9:

    Backup failed with error: Not enough available disk space on the target volume.
    Ejected Time Machine disk image.
    Ejected Time Machine network volume.
    After everything I've read, I "think" it has something to do with the reformatting and restoring of the hard drive and the time machine "thinking" it's a different computer so it's trying to back all of it up. I could be way off on that though. I really want to get this working again so any help is appreciated.
    An added note is that both of our MacBook's are backed up to this Time Capsule and I'm not having any trouble at all backing mine up. Thanks for any and all help.

    After everything I've read, I "think" it has something to do with the reformatting and restoring of the hard drive and the time machine "thinking" it's a different computer so it's trying to back all of it up.
    That is exactly correct. Time Machine thinks it is a new computer (because it is), so it will make a complete backup of the Mac.
    It sounds like your Time Capsule is getting tight on space. If you do not really need all of the old backups for the MacBook, you could delete them, start over with a new "master" backup and move forward.
    Post back if you need more info on this.

  • A FIX for error message: When I try to open Snood (it's a game) I get this message.  Not enough memory {Error # :: 0, in sound.cp@line 101  Can you help?

    After years of playing Snood, w/o problems, I started getting this error message, on my iMac, OS 10.5.8,
    with 4 GB of memory when opening Snood:  Not enough memory {Error # :: 0, in sound.cp@line 101
    My MacBook Pro w. Mac OS 10.6.8 did not have this problem.
    Initially I thought that Snood raised its minimum requirement to Mac OS 10.6.
    I had several correspondences with Snood. Their tech support is great. Quick and thorough responses.
    They thought the issue was in Mac's system preferences/ Sound. It was.
    I didn't realize that my sound input and output devices were gone.
    The fix was resetting the PRAM. I found this advice on MacFixIt.com.

    Resetting the PRAM is on Apple support:   http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
    My sound (music!) is back, along with Snood. So glad I reset the PRAM before reinstalling the OS software!
    Thank you to Snood, MacFixIt and Apple.
    Happy new year all!

    Good work, nice post/tip, thanks!

  • SSRS 2008 Column Chart with Calculated Series (moving average) "formula error - there are not enough data points for the period" error

    I have a simple column chart grouping on 1 value on the category axis.  For simplicity's sake, we are plotting $ amounts grouping by Month on the category axis.  I right click on the data series and choose "Add calculated series...".  I choose moving average.  I want to move the average over at least 2 periods.
    When I run the report, I get the error "Formula error - there are not enough data points for the period".  The way the report is, I never have a guaranteed number of categories (there could be one or there could be 5).  When there is 2 or more, the chart renders fine, however, when there is only 1 value, instead of suppressing the moving average line, I get that error and the chart shows nothing.
    I don't think this is entirely acceptable for our end users.  At a minimum, I would think the moving average line would be suppressed instead of hiding the entire chart.  Does anyone know of any workarounds or do I have to enter another ms. connect bug/design consideration.
    Thank you,
    Dan

    I was having the same error while trying to plot a moving average across 7 days. The work around I found was rather simple.
    If you right click your report in the solution explorer and select "View Code" it will give you the underlying XML of the report. Find the entry for the value of your calculated series and enter a formula to dynamically create your periods.
    <ChartFormulaParameter Name="Period">
                      <Value>=IIf(Count(Fields!Calls.Value) >= 7 ,7, (Count(Fields!Calls.Value)))</Value>
    </ChartFormulaParameter>
    What I'm doing here is getting the row count of records returned in the chart. If the returned rows are greater than or equal to 7 (The amount of days I want the average) it will set the points to 7. If not, it will set the number to the amount of returned rows. So far this has worked great. I'm probably going to add more code to handle no records returned although in my case that shouldn't happen but, you never know.
    A side note:
    If you open the calculated series properties in the designer, you will notice the number of periods is set to "0". If you change this it will overwrite your custom formula in the XML.

  • XML Publisher report ends up with Warning: not enough storage is available

    Hi,
    We have customized the AR Invoice print program (Invoice Print Selected Invoices) and have made converted the Oracle 6i report to XML Publisher.
    We have around 13000 AR invoicesin the system and when i try running the report for around 300 invoices, it works fine. When i try running it for more, It gives a warning and when i try to open the xml file to see if it is fully generated. I found that the XML File is broken in between and gives an error "not enough storage is available to complete this operation.".
    We have around 2 GB space in temp but we are not sure, why this is happening.
    Appreciate your help. Many Thanks in advance.

    Hi Kesava
    Can you check the $APPLCSF/$APPLOUT directory and see if you can see the file and its size? Maybe open it with vi or emacs and goto the last line and see if its complete.
    You might also check the OPP log for this request to see if there is anyting in that log?

  • "Not enough space" - on DB.open

    Hello,
    My application is using BDB 3.3.1.
    I’m running with the following Parameters:
    m_dbEnv.set_cachesize(0, 536870912, 0);
    m_dbEnv.set_verbose(Db.DB_VERB_CHKPOINT, true);
    m_dbEnv.set_verbose(Db.DB_VERB_RECOVERY, true);

    m_dbEnv.set_tx_max(70);
    m_dbEnv.set_lg_regionmax(204800);
    But despite of the relatively large numbers of lockers and transactions, I’m getting :
    com.sleepycat.db.DbException: Not enough space: Not enough space
    On: com.sleepycat.db.Db._open(Native Method)
    I want to know from lack of what resource the “Not enough space” is thrown?
    Is it because of cachesize/ lockers/ locks/ lockObjects or may be something else.
    Some statistics: when the error happened the whole BDB size was 5284880 bytes
    While I’m running now with 5546186 bytes and no error occur.
    Please advice what can be done to find the problem?
    If it seems like a memory leak – please advice, on how it can be found.
    Thank you in Advance

    Hi,
    The "Not enough space" error is corresponding to ENOMEM - 12, that's described here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/berkeley-db/faq/db_faq.html#8
    This error indicates that some resource has been exhausted. There are several ways to find out what is causing this error:
    1) Configure the Berkeley DB error stream, which can be done like this:
    dbenv->set_errfile(dbenv, stderr);
    If you don't have a database environment handle, you can call this on the database handle:
    db->set_errfile(db, stderr);
    With this, you should see a message explaining what resource has been exhausted.
    2) Run the db_stat utility:
    db_stat -e -h /path/to/databases
    Usually you can solve the problem by configuring the lock limits ( http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/lock/max.html ) -- they are often what runs out, or the cache size ( http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/am_conf/cachesize.html ).

  • Continous capture to AVI -- not enough memory

    I'm running LabView 2009 right now with two Camera Link  cameras (JAI CM-200MCL), each capable of running at roughly 25 fps with an NI PCIe 1430 frame grabber (They're rated for 30 fps, but I haven't been able to get them to run at this speed in LabView). I'm trying to get it so that I can capture a 30 second movie at least in which the images in both videos can be roughly coordinated with eachother in the time domain.
    Currently, I'm running into two major problems:
    1) When imaging with both cameras and writing them to their own AVIs simultaneously, the respective camera fps values drop to about 17 each, screwing up the time fidelity of the resulting video and making analysis virtually impossible.
    2) Whenever I try to implement the code with newer AVI sub VIs in labview (requiring a compression codec), or when I try to take the raw VI and compress it by reading it and writing it to a new AVI file, my system runs out of memory and I get a message like this:
    Error -1074396159 occurred at IMAQ AVI2 Write Frame
    Possible reason(s):
    IMAQ Vision: Not enough memory for requested operation.
    Does anyone know what I can do to solve this? Currently I'm at a loss as to next steps and can't seem to find a solution in the various discussion threads I've read on similar topics.

    Hi floomich86,
    When do you get the error?  How many times the acquisition loop runs before you get the error?
    Looking at it now, I think you're right that it's not a throughput issue, but has to do with the memory being used up.  I have a couple recommendations:
    1) Try using a codec after to process your images so they're smaller.  Use the IMAQ Get Codec Names node to find the various codecs available on your computer (it returns an array of all the various codecs), then use an index array function to choose one of these (try an NI one to start).  Then wire this codec into your IMAQ AVI Create node in your Vision_Acquisition_2cam.vi.  Adding this compression should help your images take up less memory.
    2) This seems like a good application for the Producer-Consumer architecture.  This would require revamping your code in a major way, but I think using this architecture would improve performance.  This architecture is best for programs that need to gather data in one loop and process it in another simultaneously.
    Here are some examples of the Producer-Consumer architecture.  I tried to find some specifically with Vision functions in them but I couldn't.  Yet, you can still see how the architecture and data gathering/analysis works with these.
    Here is a white paper to introduce the architecture:

    Dear,
    As suggested, i have checked for the JVM configuration for low heap size but i found the value of MaxPermSize to be 256M. So, i guess this is not causing the "Not Enough Space" issue.
    Please let me know where else do I need to check as i completely clueless about this problem.
    Thanks for your inputs.

  • Safari hangs: not enough program memory, while 90G HD and 4G ram, OS re-installed, removed files etc. (mac book pro, leopard)

    Safari hangs direct after starting up. Rainbow bol rotates around one hour after which a message is shown: "not enough program memory"
    More than 90G free on HD, even removed more files and installed OS and programs again. Nothing helps.
    Help

    SIG, thanks for your reaction. After reading my question again I understand it was not clear.
    The reason I mentioned the 90G free HD space was the information I found on internet about my problem in which it was assumed there was not enough RAM memory and the processor uses the HD for SWAP files?
    In any way my problem is still there and I like to add some information:
    MACBookPro OSX 10.6.7, 2.4 GHz duo, 4GB DDR3 RAM, L2 cache 3MB, 250 GB HD (90 GB free).
    What I have done untill now:
    Re-install OSX plus programs
    Reboot in safe mode (cold start with shift C pressed)
    A number of reports generated after a forced Safari stop were send to Apple. (by the way what are they doing with these? besides not helping me?).
    Just today I learned where to find the Safari cache file's which I will empty when I am back from work tonight.
    I hope, with this additional information you have some more suggestions. In any way I will come back with the result of emptying the Safari cache.

    However, there is plenty of space. The initial backup took up about 898 GB of my 1.61 TB machine. Subsequent incremental backups should only take up a fraction — and I'm confident that I haven't added hundreds of gigabytes of new data to my disk. However, each time Time Machine tries to run its backup, I get the same error.
    Time Machine is backing up both my small internal hard drive (128 GB) and the rest of the backup comes from an external drive. It worked fine under Mavericks, but under Yosemite it seems that Time Machine doesn't realize that the hundreds of gigabytes on the external drive has already been backed up before and doesn't all need to be backed up again.
    Any thoughts? I had a backup that was several months old earlier; once I started getting this error, I wiped that backup thinking that a fresh backup might sole the error. No such luck.
    I'm running Yosemite 10.10.0 on a mid-2011 MacBook Air, backing up to a Sinology NAS. (My wife who is still using Mavericks is continuing to successfully backup to the same drive.)
    Thanks everyone!
    - geoff

    I have the exact same problem with almost the same setup: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012) running Yosemite 10.10, an external harddrive and a Time Capsule 2 TB (4th Generation, Version 7.6.4). I even took the same actions as geoff2 (deleting the complete set of backups from Mavericks and making a new complete backup on Yosemite). On my internal harddrive 270 GB are occupied, on my external harddrive around 980 GB are occupied and the MacBook of my girlfriend is also backed up to the Time Capsule. At the moment around 646 GB are available on the Time Capsule.
    Now I get the same error message saying, that 977 GB are needed for a backup but only 650 GB are available. Interestingly backups without the external drive connected will complete without any problems.
    The external drive has a "GUID Partition Table". So it seems both of Linc Davis suggestions don't apply to the problem (we both have either GUID Partition Table or Logical Volume Group and the issue appears both on a NAS-Storage and on a Time Capsule).
    Looking for additional information I looked into the console and found the following report: "Inheritance scan may be required for '/Volumes/Dolphin', associated with previous UUID: BA36E38E-71F9-39E1-BF72-36AF9D4BB45F". "Dolphin" is the name of the external drive. What does that mean? Is it of any relevance? For more information I will post all the reports concerning the backup below (it's mainly about trying to free more space on the TC by deleting old backups). "Yosemite" is my internal OS X Volume, "Hamster" is the name of the Volume on the TC, "Nifty" is a Nifty mini drive in the SD-Card-Slot.
    I already verified the backups using the Option-Click on the menu bar symbol and I deleted and rebuilt the Spotlight index but it changed nothing. We could of course delete the backup volume (NAS or TC) and start a new backup, but I have a feeling, that the issue will appear again afterwards. Any other suggestions?

  • Time Machine - "not enough space to back up" despite large drive

    Hi,
    I have a 2.7GHz Quad-Core 27" iMac from July 2011. It has a 2TB HD which I back up to an external single partition 2TB HD (WD MyBook) over Time Machine (TM). The iMac HD has about 1.4TB on it.
    It was "just working" until about 2 weeks ago, when I got a message that says in essence  "not enough space to back up: only 600GB available when 1.4GB is needed". There is one succesful 1.4TB backup. I get the error message hourly as it attempts to back up then fails. Previously there were multiple time stamped (houry, daily etc) backups but when I first got the error message, there was only one left, implying that TM deleted the earlier ones in its quest for more space.
    As there is a 2TB drive to back up 1.4TB, there should be loads of space as each backup should just log the changes, not the whole drive.
    However, TM is acting as if it needs the full 1.4GB free for each delta backup, rather than just space for the changes. This is new behaviour as it did not need this before.
    I have googled the issue extensively, checked FAQs etc and found two potential causes.
    The first is that I changed the name of my computer around the time that the problem appeared. This can apparently cause TM to not recognise old backups. I therefore deleted the old one and rebuilt my backup from scratch, hoping that the new name would be used. I was able to do one backup before the same issue appeared again.
    The second is that the sparsebundle needs to be resized manually due to a bug, but I can't find the sparse bundle on the external HD, even using Disk Utility (this maty be because I am being very stupid - I am a recent Mac user and do not have much experience of digging into OS X's innards)
    I am now at a loss as to what to do.
    I would be very grateful indeed if anyone had any thoughts that they could share.
    SE.

    It's trying to do a near-full backup for some reason, and it's already deleted all but the last remaining backup trying to make room. It was probably trying to back up about 1.2 TB, since it adds 20% to the estimated size.  That's likely your entire home folder.
    The first is that I changed the name of my computer around the time that the problem appeared.
    No, that shouldn't cause it.  Apparently on some of the very first versions of Leoaprd, it did, but not since.

    No, there isn't a sparsebundle on backups made to an internal or directly-connected HD.  Those are used only for network backups.
    What else did you do around the same time you changed your computer name?  See #D4 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting for common causes.
    I'd recommend turning TM off, erasing the drive and doing a "full reset" per #A4 in that same link.  Then exclude most of the large folders in your home folder, per #10 in  Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. Then run a backup, and immediately run another.
    If the second backup is more than a GB, use one of the apps in #A2 of Troubleshooting to see exactly what got backed-up the second time.  That may tell us what's going on.
    If it wasn't large, start removing the exclusions, one at a time.  Run a backup (that should back up the excluded item(s), then run another and see how large it is.   That should pinpoint the problem.
