Not enough space at iCloud

I can not make a back up copy at iCloud because system said that is not space enough, but the information at the IPad said that is free space available.
Any help with this?

How much "other" space do you have, plug in your iDevice, look at the bottom of iTunes window for your iDevice.
Go to Settings -> iCloud -> Storage & Back Up -> Manage Storage
How much space does it say that you have? Total Storage ____ Available____
Click Manage Storage. Are there any devices listed that you do not own any more?-if so select and delete those old backups for old devices.
Click on your Device.
When was the lastest Backup?
What does the Backup Size list?
How much is listed next to "Next Backup Size"

Can I back up my iPhone 4S to my ipad 3 (64 gb)? I do not have a computer running Mountain Lion. Our desktop still runs Tiger, so I purchased the 3rd generation iPad with 64 gb thinking it had had plenty of room to backup my iPhone photos. I used a camera connection kit and transferred about 1100 old photos from my camera roll on my iPhone to my ipad. I then deleted pictures from my iPhone and now my camera roll has only 357 photos. However, in the Settings, under "About" it says I have 2147 photos. Why? I only have a total of 216 photos in all my albums. However, now I don't have enough space in iCloud to backup either device. Why not? Any help, any advice, appreciated please! I spent a long time on the phone with Apple today and they couldn't solve the problem.

iCloud only give so much space for free storage, then if you exceed the limit of 5gb you have to pay for additional storage.

Delete all back ups on MacBook and create new back up. Restart his MB and attempt to restore again. Do not forget to erase your iphone 5 before restore.

There shouldn't be any fee involved. Call the Apple online store for your country (1-800-MY-APPLE in the U.S. and Canada) and request a refund.
If the download is stuck, you can download in iTunes on your computer, then sync it to your iPad once your free up some space. This explains how to download your previous purchases to your computer: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519.

Not Enough Space On HD to Upload to iCloud

My Mac Mini has a 60GB photo library and about 40GB free space on disk. When I turn on the iCloud library, a system message tells me that there is not enough space on my HD to hold the images and that only optimised versions can be kept.
SO I tried with a small, new 2GB photo library and received the same message. I have 200GB on iCloud.
I am confused as to why I am told I don't have space to upload to iCloud. Surely the process of uploading would not require space on my HD? I am worried that if I turn it on for my real 60GB library that behind the scenes reduction in local files will be made.

However, a message says that I only have enough space to keep an optimised library on my Mac. So if it is uploading, is it then deleting photos from my Mac at the same time? And then does this mean I only have low resolution photos on my Mac until I download them? It's a bit confusing.

You can't have content in iCloud without having it on your phone, you will need to look at deleting items from your device that you don't need. Movies and TV shows from iTunes are possibly a good start because they tend to be large and can be redownloaded at a later date.

iCloud is off-site storage. You get 5GB free. To backup, you need at least the amount used on your iPad. You have to purchase the additional space over the free 5GB.

It's telling you there's not enough space *on your 4S*. The 25GB you refer to is probably that on iCloud, that's different memory than that on your iPhone. You need to delete video, pictures, apps, or whatever ON THE IPHONE, to make enough room for downloading updates to your apps.

Can't restore iPad, not enough space, lost Pin to get in.

Password was changed on iPad and when trying to restore to factory settings, I can't as there is not enough space. What can I do? I can't see the iPad on "Find my iPad" on iCloud either, so that is not an option.

Can anyone help, I have approx 6 gig of space available, but I cannot download a movie I purchased from iTunes, I get the message not enough space available, use settings to manage?

Both are true.
Your have lost of iCloud space.
The problem is you need space on the iPhone.
On the iPhone
Setting > General > Usage select Storage
See what is taking up space on the iPhone.
Delete what you don't need.

Getting "not enough space on iphone" error when trying to restore iPhone from latest backup in iTunes.

Recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6.1.3 and lost all of my contacts after doing so. Tried to restore phone to latest backup performed in iTunes but I get an error message that tells me there's not enough space on my iPhone to perform the restoration. The ultimate problem I'm trying to solve is the loss of my contacts so if there's another way to solve that please let me know. If restoring my phone is a proper solution please help me do so.

Contacts are not part of the backup. They are seperate and either you need to sync them with an email program such as outlook or use icloud mail,contacts, and calendars on the phone. Unless you did that then the contacts are gone.

Not enough space on HD to set up Photos

I keep trying to set up Photos and after 5 or 6 hours, I get a message that says there is not enough space on my HD to complete the setup.
I thought that Photos did not need massive amounts of HD space to set up?
I have about 128 Gb of space on my HD and Photos is saying it needs an additional 108 Gb to complete the operation.

The problem could be that you don't have enough storage on the device itself, not on iCloud. Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available. Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
Also check:
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage; there, tap the device you need info on and the resulting screen lists Backup Options with which apps store data on iCloud.
A device needs many MB of storage in order to perform a backup to iCloud.

You are looking at the amount of storage that you have available on the actual iPad (Settings > General > About > Available) and not the amount that you have in the cloud (Settings > iCloud) ?

Deleted all data still says NOT enough storage for Icloud back up

I have deleted from my two devices (Iphone 4s and Mini Ipad) all my pictures , videos, emails and notes ( I dont store music) and I still get the not enough storage on icloud. I dont understand, if i don't have anything in my phone or Ipad why I keep on getting this message. I havent been able to delete apps though. I dont know what I am doing wrong. What can be occupying space if I have deleted everything.

It's iCloud you don't have enough storage on, not the phone.
You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > Backup & Storage > Manage...... on your iOS device. Or System Preferences > iCloud > Manage...... on a Mac.
You have 3 options......
Purchase more iCloud storage.
Delete data or back ups that are being stored in iCloud already.
Turn off items to be included in the next back up to reduce its size.
