Not enough storage on ipad

I have recently been given an iPad so am a bit new to its performance. I have downloaded quite a few games and it is now telling me that I haven't enough storage. As I paid for some of the games I don't want to delete them. If I sync it with iTunes will they be saved to the cloud and should I then delete them from my ipad. Sorry I find the cloud thingy s bit confusing,,,

If you sync with iTunes, the games should transfer into your iTunes library and your game saved data should be backed up as well. I recommend transferring the purchases manually and backing up manually as well.

When you sync with iTunes, you can actually see this process taking place by watching the progress bar at the top of the iTunes window. If you do not see the purchases being transferred and you don't see the iPad being backed up, then do it on your own.
After you transfer and backup, you can delete the games if you like. As stated above, you can download them again as long as you use the same Apple ID or you can sync them back to the iPad if you want to do it that way.

"This iPhone cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available."
This message is displayed when there is not enough storage space available in your iCloud Storage to complete your backup. You can either reduce the amount of data you are backing up under Backup Options, or you can buy more storage.

Hi, guys, I have 5 iPads are under the same Apple ID. One of 5 iPads freezes, it says "Not Enough Storage, this iPad cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage availabe. You can manage your storage in Settings." But acutually, nothing works, I even cannot turn off the iPad. I connect the iPad with the iTunese in my MacBook. But it doesn't help except asking me to restore the iPad. There are some students' work in the iPad and I don't want to earse any these work. A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. Release both buttons and await restart.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should restart. This will have no affect on your data.
