Not found Users Form in User Defined Field Definition!!

I want to add new filed into Users form, As my subject, but when I query "Users" in User Defined Field Definition, no result return, just exist Orgnizations, Roles, Resource Objects,Structure Utility.

I am able to add attribute but not able to make field as mandatory,while creating attribute we are not getting option like that you want this field mandatory or not but while modifying the attribute we are getting option like required field radio button if i select that i am getting error "you cant change an attribute to required unless all the user have value for this field"

Do Not Import Duplicates (former PC /user/)

I about to set down and go through the Aperture Tutes.
However, can anyone advise as to whether it is a good idea to check the box to not import duplicates from my iPhoto Library or whether there may be a better way to manually delete these once they are in the program? I used Duplicate Annhilator at one point while in iPhoto but I am not sure I got it to work correctly.
I am moving from PC which means that the import into iPhoto was not very pretty and I had to do a lot of moving around to get images that had basically been in tens of different folders to sit in one single Album and in some cases there may be an image that should in fact show up in more than one or two Albums (even though I know this is not very good form).
While I would very much like to avoid having duplicates in the original database I would also like to avoid a scenario where I know I had a photo in the database but I cannot find it because the Do Not Import Duplicates option deleted the dupe from an Album it /should/ be in and left the original image in an Album where I would not think to look (or where I would need to search for awhile).
Any advice on helping me get further unstuck from the PC would be great.

The "Don't import Duplicates" only checks by filename (iirc -- either way, it is very limited in function). It won't help you at all in your quest to cull duplicates from your iPhoto library.
If your iPhoto Library is a mess and you import it into Aperture, your Aperture Library will also be a mess. The advantage here is that Aperture has better tools for you to use to organize and prune (and prevent making a mess in the future).
My advice is: make the import; read the first seven chapters of the [Aperture User Manual|http://documentation.apple.com/en/aperture/usermanual> (if you haven't yet); and create two additional libraries:
. a "practice" library containing nothing you don't mind losing (for instance, duplicates you make just for this purpose) which you use to try out everything you learn about Aperture, and
. a new empty Library for the images you capture while you are learning how to use Aperture and molding your old iPhoto mess into shape
Aperture makes it easy to switch between Libraries (and when you are ready, to merge Libraries).
Take your time. Be patient. As the carpenter says to his apprentice: +Measure twice, cut once.+
And ask more questions. You'll have plenty. Be as specific as possible.

This problem has been discussed a number of times before and there are a few different approaches that you can take depending on your exact requirements.
If you go to the properties tab in the form designer there is a "lookup query" property that should be able to resolve your problem but I have never used this specific feature so unfortunately I can't give you the specific details for the exact syntax.

Oracle.forms.webutil bean not found at forms initialization

I'm trying to use the function Webutil_File.File_is_Directory
But i'm getting the following error:
oracle.forms.webutil.file.FileFunctions bean not found.
WEBUTIL_FILE.GET_ATTRIBUTE_INT will not work.
I believe this is not a configuration issue because
this error only happens at forms initialization.
I put this call at a WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE, at the forms initialization, the error happens.
But when the form is waiting a user action, and the user raises the same WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE,
the function works as expected.

Best way to link user form with user table

Hi all.
What is the best way to link an user form with a user table (with all of the functions, add, update...)? I have created a simple form, and the question is next:
depending the type object of the user table (document, master...) i have facilities to imlement the basic operations in the form? if i create an UDO i have the functions but i want to use the form that i created with a screen painter.

OIM 11GR2 - mechanism for restoring default adf user forms - create user

Hi All
Our developers has pubkished multiple OIM sandbox and create user form is broken
: the user creation form does not appear - only a html <div> tag .
The developer reverted the form using the em/console - then he ran the catalog sync job but all he can acheive is a blank form not the original user create forms
How do we restore the forms to thier original state.

Not sure if this helps. But try these steps mentioned in the developer's guide. Once I did some UI customization in identity console and could not load my page after that. I followed these steps and was successfully able to restore it back. You can give a try and in step 6 try to select some known sandbox name which did not have any issues.
1. Login to Oracle Enterprise Manager.
2. In Application Deployments, select oracle.iam.ui.console.self-service.ear.
3. On the top-right of the page, select Application Deployment, and then select MDS Configuration from the list.
4. At the bottom of the screen, select Runtime MBean Browser under the Advanced Configuration section. The right side of the screen refreshes.
5. Click the Operations tab.
6. Scroll down and identify the listMetadataLabels MBean operation and invoke it. Select the MBean operation that does not take any parameters. Select the sandbox precreate that you want to restore, and copy it to the clipboard.
For example, the value you copy can be similar to: Creation_IdM_test_09:25:00.
7. Click Return to go back to the Operation tab.
8. Find the promoteMetadataLabel MBean operation.
9. Invoke the promoteMetadataLabel MBean operation, and enter the value that you copied in step 6.
10. Restart Oracle Identity Manager.

New Safari User-former PC user-Slow Page Fills

safari page fills seem slow even with cable modem hard connected. Any way to "tweak" performance or check for problems? My apologies but as a former PC user, there was usually tweaking to do....

1. Yes it is helpful, but I would limit the choice to the latest version supported by Apple, because it's being tested with their apps. You can download them running "Software Update" from the Apple menu. If it doesn't propose any Java update, you are already running the latest one
2. I am not aware of any. Other people may. I know of some applications that supposedly make downloads faster, but they often cause problems with Safari.
Did you try my previous suggestion to run Firefox or Opera or Camino, just to have a comparison?

I want make join between dba_users and table like(documents) and this idea like e-mail system , one user sends document to other and 3 users can see this document itself they are dba , receptive and (unnecessary who send it) .

USR user defined field in OIM design console in not visible

Hi all,
We have OIM setup in the environment and wanted to add some custom attributes for USR user defined field definition. When I open the User Defined Field Definition tab, I could not see USR form. When I tried to export specific users from OIM just to check whether USR is visible or not, it is appearing. When I tried to import the same set of users again to OIM, I could still not be able to see USR in OIM design console.
Any ideas why this has happened? There were no changes in OIM env recently.
Please help.

Exported the user in xml file and found that Form Administrator is missing. I added that specific section from other working environment and it is working fine now.

OIM user defined field in process form

I am trying to create a user defined field (UDF) in a process form. The UDF would be a drop down list of values for the status field.
I've tried to do this by going to the Administration list, and double clicking on User Defined Field Definition. Then selecting the Form Designer. I can add a column but I cannot add values to the drop down. I know I'm probably doing this wrong.
How do I add a UDF drop down and its values to a process form?

2.In the process form--->go to the properties tab-->select the User defined filed name-->add property--->property Name drop down list -->select lookup code-->in the property value-->provide the lookup table name-->save

User ID not found in credentials / Sun Access Manager integration.

Hi all,
I've got SSO mostly working between AM 7.1 and IDM 7.1.0.
However, if the IM user I'm attempting to log in as is a user in an organization, rather than just being a member of 'Top' in IM, then the login fails (eg, load of /idm/user/login.jsp), with the error message "User ID not found in credentials".
Users who have an AM realm resource account and are in the Top organization work just fine; users further down the tree don't.
I'm trying to trace through the IM source (reverse engineered) and so forth, but not having much luck. Before I raise a support case on this, has anyone else seen this problem?

The answer, if anyone is experiencing the same problem, is that it turned out to be the identity policy established for the users, which had "enforce password policy on login"; an exception was thrown, "Too few user supplied questions provided and answered based on the configured minimum of 5"; this was caught somehow and rethrown as "An account ID must be specified"; this was further recaught and rethrown as "User ID not found in credentials".

Does anybody could help me to create a user form, that user could select the date and time from either calendar or other control button (from Userform control Toolbox) and the VBA code would filter the data on Excel SpreadSheet depending on input...
I want user to specify start time and the end time, that I would know the period of time which is on interest and filter the data depending on inputs...

I am getting the oracle.forms.engine.Main not found.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException error when trying to access Oracle forms using APEX 2.2.1 and SSO.

The forms have been compiled, forms path setup properly and the setup required to run forms seems to be right. Jinitiator has also been installed.
I have searched the forums and tried everything. I have checked jinitiator settings, cleared cache and even reinstalled it. Do you have any experience with this error? Appreciate any answers. Thanks.

I was also facing the same problem. to solve this, i have uninstalled Oracle Jinitiator. Cleared all the temporary internet files & cookies. Then while running the form, when it asks to install JInitiator, i have specified a different path for jinitiator, For Example, By default it asks for C:\programfiles, i have changed it to c:\manish directory.
This has solved my problem. Probably this also help you.

Diagnosis
The field movements could not be processed because of table T888M.
Procedure
As a rule, this error only occurs if you set up a new client. This is because:
- the transfer tables have been copied to the new client, but the code has been generated because of the tables. This code is now missing in the new client.
- the transfer tables T888/T888M have not been copied to the new client.
Check whether these tables exist in the client. If they exist, you can generate the code either by running program RGIMOVV0 directly, or maintaining a line in table T888M (change the value in Customizing and afterwards set it right again). To check whether the field movement exists, you can check the field movements in Customizing.

Have u checked the field status variant for the GL check it? If you are not using Business Area in you company then if you Run Program RM07CUFA in SE38 and compare movement type and GL you can see the comparison of the field status variant of the movement type and GL
