Not full black printing on P1102W

I need to print black images on transparant sheets to use with a uv lighting box to make printed circuit boards.
This picture is an example where the bottom part of the image is not completely black. It does not matter on what location I print this image. Top, center, bottom, left or right. The result for this  image always has this bottom part where there are greyish parts.
When I rotate the image 180 degrees it also has this same effect but now the other part has this problem. My current solution is to print 2 copies on the same transparant sheet where one image is 180 degrees rotated. Then lay them on top of each other.
I have used the built-in cleaning utility of the P1102W multiple times on transparant sheets and normal paper.
What else can I do?
Thanks

Hi @gussmith ,
I see that you are having issues with the black not printing properly on the full transparency page. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
Do you have the same issue when printing on plain paper?
Trying to figure out if it is the toner or the fuser causing this issue.
Remove the toner and gently rock the toner back and forth five times to redistribute the toner.
Make sure the paper type is selected in the print driver.
I have provided a document with some steps to try to see if that will resolve the issue.
Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues.
Are you using Genuine HP Toner?
What is the toner level?
What operating system are you using? Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
What driver did you install? (Apple Updates, HP website)
Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.
Have a great day!
Thank You.

  • Typed input on log ins, search commands are barely visible - not crisp black print. How do I fix?

    I have a Windows 7 HP desk top - rather new and functioning well. My email is free from AOL - Internet connection is AT&T. In logging on to the email account it is the typical user name/password process. When I now click on email log in or other log ins - the log in data entry space caret is barely visible and the typing I enter is barely visible, but when the entry data is correct my log in is accepted. And in all my Bookmarks only the icons are visible until I rest my mouse pointer on the icon. Some time (don't know how much time) before I noticed the problem I was browsing through the display and personalization sections under the control panel. I made no lasting display changes but did review some alternative before deciding not to change anything. Perhaps it is a simple change in the font color that needs attention - but I haven't been able to figure out how to do that in what I see in the Firefox Tool Bars . First thing...you made a mistake
    import javax.swing.JScrollPane;
    import javax.swing.JScrollBar;
    import javax.swing.*;When you import javax.swing.*; You automatically
    import JScrollPane & JScrollBar class, there's no
    need for you to re import again...
    That is not always a mistake. There are cases where it makes sense to do both (i.e., to import both '*' and a specific class name from that package at the same time). I believe the common example is:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.util.List;Now you can use "List" as a short name for "java.util.List", but must use "java.awt.List" in full for "java.awt.List" objects. If you just did:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.util.*;Then you couldn't use List as a short name for anything--because it is ambiguous. You'd have to use both "java.awt.List" and "java.util.List" spelled out in full.
    Or, if you did:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.awt.List; // NOTE CHANGEThen "List" is short for "java.awt.List", and you must use "java.util.List" in full for "java.awt.List" objects.

    Full black cartridge and will only print a little in yellow.  Have printer the other day.

    Hi Mormor,
    Performing a series of print head cleanings and deep cleanings on the printer may resolve the ink printing issue.  To do this, please follow the steps located at the link below:

  • Print full black, not grayscale

    My new Macbook Air w/Yosemite won't print in pure black - it prints everything in grayscale. I've checked all the boxes in print preview, read through other threads on this subject but don't have an answer. I need to be able to print in clear, sharp black and white w/o having to use my old Sony laptop, which still prints perfectly. Printers are Canon MG 4220 and MG 3520, same problem w/both. Not too happy with this problem, one of many I've encountered w/my new machine. Apple should really look closely at what works well in Windows and copy it - the crappy presets and basic functional issues I've run into do not impress at all.
    Any help here is appreciated.

    Hi Balderol,
    I understand you would like to print black only. I found a document that will help guide you through the steps to set your print settings. This document says it is for 10.3 an d10.4, but the instructions will apply to the newer Mac versions as well. Mac OS X: Printing with the Black Print Cartridge Only Option.
    I hope this is helpful.

  • How do I set my default print to be grayscale (NOT full color)

    I have an HP LaserJet CM1415fnw printer on a wireless network at home.  We have a mac, macbook and 2 windows based computers.  I do not want the printer to automatically print everything in color.  How do I set the default to grayscale or black ink only?  I have looked everywhere!!
    Thank you!!

    One will need to have the full software installed on each computer to get this functionality.
    To set greyscale:
    * Open the Printing Preferences for the CM1410 driver that installs for this printer
    * Select the Color tab at the top
    * Click the Print in Greyscale check box
    * Save the options and attempt a print
    Let me know how this goes.

  • Full page prints from iPhone but not from iPad using photo app with AirPrint ?

    Full page prints from iPhone but not from iPad using photo app with AirPrint ? iPad only prints 4x6 on full size paper. It's an HP 8600.

    I also have this problem printing photos from an iPad to an Epson WF-2540 printer. It prints only 4x6 and without border (so print starts at extreme top left corner of paper). Borderless printing is not selected on printer. Printing a square photo just crops to 4x6 size.

  • Hp photosmart plus printer will not copy or print in black ink

    HP Photo Smart Plus will not print black.  I can get other colors to print. I have used print Doctor to diagnose and
    could not find a problem. I did get printer to print black and all colors on test page. When printing  I do not get a error message other than a red x.  I have also tried a different ink cartidge  with no results.

    Hi Dee54321,
    Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums! I see you are not able to print in black ink on your HP Photosmart Plus B210a.
    I would like you to continue here: Printer Does Not Print Black Ink or Color Ink, or Prints Blank Pages, I understand you may have done some of these steps already but I need you to complete all steps in order to resolve the missing black issue you are experiencing.
    Please note: There are three printhead cleaning stages. Complete all three stages if necessary. If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last (third) cleaning stage to start the first stage of the cleaning process over again.
    If you are still unable to print in black ink, I suspect the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge. I highly recommend you call our technical support at 800-474-6836. • When printing to Adobe PDF from Microsoft Publisher, the text on page 2 is not 100% black

    Hi there
    I'm using Microsoft Publisher 2013 to print to an Adobe PDF file (I have a trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.)
    I sent the PDF to my printing house but they can't print it because the text on page 2 is not 100% black. In Publisher, the text colour on both pages is CMYK 0/0/0/100.
    I created a test file in which I copied the text from page 1 onto page 2 so both pages are identical. However, the PDF created from that file, when I click Print Production, Output Preview and de-select Process Black, all the text on page 1 disappears (as expected) but none of the text on page 2 disappears! It seems that Publisher and/or Acrobat is printing the text on page 1 correctly but not page 2. Does anyone know why? Am I doing something wrong?
    Here's a link to the two files: Dropbox - ShareAdobeComm
    Would much appreciate some help if anybody can please point me in the right direction. Thank you.
    (I'm seriously evaluating upgrading from my current 3rd party PDF writer to Adobe.)

    Do not use the PDF Maker, but print to the Adobe PDF printer and see if that meets you need. If you need some of the tools of PDF Maker, then turn on only those you need, not them all. Check to be sure that the graphics are indeed being downsampled and possibly go back and reduce the graphics you have in the WORD file so that you are at least not using millions of colors, 256 max. Also consider using straight B&W if color is not needed, or at least gray-scale.

    i am on a Windows 7 professional PC, 64-bit.

    If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
    The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
    Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

    hie....am using the hp deskjet 1050 printer and scanner ....ealier i was able to print all kind of text(black and color)....but now am unable to print text in black....why is it so?

    Hi,
    Please go to HP Printer Assistant (you can see this in Start Menu->HP->HP 3540 Series).Select 'Set Preferences'.Go to Layout tab and select Advanced tab. Go to Document Options and select 'Black Ink Only' (for black prints only).
    Colour Only doesnot makes sense. If you want to print the colour,just reset the above option.
    By default, HP printer prints black area with black and color with color.
    Hope this helps.
