Not getting 9860 build

I recently reinstalled the tech preview, it performed an OS upgrade on Windows 8.1 for me, but I seem to be stuck on build 9841. I have checked for updates, and checked the preview build section and it says no new builds are available, any idea why?

EJB Jar not getting Build

Hi All,
I created a DC EJB and a DC EAR. I was able to create Projects successfully. Suddently when i create a new DC EJB, the jar is not getting generated when i build the ejb and because of which i cannot deploy the ejb. Also i am unable to build a DC Webdynpro Project too. But i am not getting any error on build of the project.
What could be the problem. Y suddenly i am unable to build DC Components? Request you to provide me with solution in this regard.

Miracast not working with Win10 9860 build?

Working with a Pro3 and the Microsoft Wireless Display adapter our company bought. Get a "Driver Error" message when trying to connect with Display adapter in Settings -> PC and Devices -> Devices. Get a "Driver Error" message when
trying to connect. Think this has something to do with Miracast, so tried rolling back to older drivers but no effect.
Anybody else having problems with Miracast on the 9860 build?

SOADEMO - deploying SOAOrderBooking build.xml "Could not get Deployment M..

Hi All, I have seen a few issues with the SOA demo but still not able to resolve my issue so posting a thread.
First off using SOA suite 10.1.3.1.0 and Jdev 10.1.3.1.0, so the same versions. Downloaded the demo from the same oracle page as downloaded suite from etc so should be compatible. Installed SOA Suite on an OE Linux 4 update 5 install. Using jdev on Vista laptop. I appreciate that these are not the most current versions but they should work as on the Oracle site and I am not able to install newer versions for the next few weeks.
Going through the install guide for the demo and hitting a problem with deploying the build.xml for SOAOrderBooking as a few others have. The first error I am getting is:
[deployDecisionServices] Failed at "Could not get DeploymentManager".
I have checked the build.properties file which matches exactly that from the 'SelectManufacturer' which deployed fine.
One of the main differences between these two is that the 'SelectManufacturer' does not have any decision services.
One thread I saw suggested changing in the properties file
platform=ias_10g
#platform=oc4j_10g
to
# platform=ias_10g
platform=oc4j_10g
I did do this and the deployment when further but then fails at a later stage. I should not have to make this change anyway as I am using ias_10g so I have gone back to the original. Why would this change allow me to get further?? Appreciate any comments on this bit apart from my general problem.
Any ideas why the deployment of the decision services would fail?
I have spent a fair bit of time as you do trying to resolve it but no luck so any help greatly appreciated. Searched google, metalink, technet etc.
FYI I have edited the properties file to use a different port for HTTP etc. Again these settings worked fine for 'SelectManufacturer' so do not think there is a problem with the URI being used.
Also appreciate on debugging could anyone tell me under the IAS control panel which log component I should set to get some more debug info on this deployment error. I have tried a few without success and cannot find a clear explanation of the various component logs.

I went on to the linux server and ran the below to validate the URI:
/oracle/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/jdk/bin/java -jar /oracle/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/j2ee/home/admin_client.jar deployer:oc4j:opmn://del4100.cel:6003/appserver/oc4j_soa oc4jadmin <password> -validateURI
This is the same command being executed by jdeveloper when I try to deploy the decision service.
I get the same error as with jdev:
Failed at "Could not get DeploymentManager".
I had a further look at the command and omitted the name of the application server instance which in my case is 'appserver', the default when you install SOA Suite.
so now ran:
/oracle/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/jdk/bin/java -jar /oracle/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/j2ee/home/admin_client.jar deployer:oc4j:opmn://del4100.cel:6003/oc4j_soa oc4jadmin <password> -validateURI
This validated the successfully. Went back to jdev and commented out the line from the build.properties:
# asinstancename=appserver
Re-ran the ant build and this time the deployment of the decision service succeeded.
This has now failed on the next stage of the build on compiling the bpel process SOAOrderBooking which I shall look at now.
Do you know why the above would not work with the appserver instance name. I have checked and it is the correct name and spelling?
I have another error now on the next stage of the build and wonder if this is related to it.
The error I am getting is that could not read the wsdl and:
Error happened when reading wsdl at "http://localhost:7777/esb/wsil/Fulfillment/OrderFulfillment?wsdl", because "Failed to read wsdl file at: "http://localhost:7777/esb/wsil/Fulfillment/OrderFulfillment?wsdl", caused by: java.net.ConnectException. : Connection refused: connect".
Thanks for your suggestions and welcome any other comments on this next error as I wonder if it is related to the first one that I have worked around.

Field in ALV not getting populated

           I need some help. I am displaying an ALV with fields.
    GROUP     G/L ACCOUNT     Local currency       USD     Period
       100              10                       5                       5           12
       100               11                      6                       4            12
now i have added an extra field TXT20 in the as last field of structure
    GROUP     G/L ACCOUNT     Local currency       USD     Period      TXT
       100              10                       5                       5           12          aa
       100               11                      6                       4            12         ab
TXT should come as 3rd coloumn in the output.
EXAMPLE:
     GROUP     G/L ACCOUNT       TXT      Local currency USD     Period
       100              10                      aa                  5              5           12
       100               11                     ab                   6             4            12
I have changed the coloumn positions in the field catalog accordingly and I have not written or changed any select queries from earlier output.
now my problem is PERIOD field is not getting populated in the ALv,the data is visible in the IT_FINAL which I am passing to Reuse_alv_grid_display. the field catalog is also getting build properly.
so plz suggest some changes so that I can move ahead.

I don't know what's the reason and now I have no environment to test it, but you can try other way:
1. define your fieldcate one by one as the sequence of your output like
      GROUP         G/L ACCOUNT          TXT           Local currency         USD          Period
      In this situation, you needn't use component -- position of fieldcate structure. Pay attention to
      fieldname in upper case.
   2. If only doing step1 has no effect, then adjust your structure of internal table. Sequence your
       component of IT_FINAL as the output field like step1.
   If still no effect, please let me know.

If Records of different list items are entered, then the data is not getting inserted in the table.

If P_TYPE='P' , then the data must get saved in KEC_FDACCT_DTL table.
The problem what is happening is,
If i enter the details with all the records as 'P' , the record gets inserted into the table KEC_FDACCT_DTL
If i enter the details with records of 'P' and 'R' , then nothing gets inserted into the table KEC_FDACCT_DTL.
Even the records with 'P' is not getting updated.
I want the records of 'P' , to be inserted into table KEC_FDACCT_DTL, even when multiple records of all types of 'P_Type' (R, w & P) are entered.
So, can you please help me with this.

where as for Sub section data is not getting displayed though there is data in xml file

The custm error page is not getting loaded in TomCat 5.0

I am working on a JSF web application deployed in Tomcat 5.0.I was trying to redirect 404 and 500 error pages to custom error pages.But the error pages are not getting loaded and i am getting normal Tocat 404 status page.
I am giving the web.xml entry for the error page defenition.

That's a specification version. I was asking for the implementation and version. Is it the Sun reference implementation (Sun JSF RI)? If so, which build?
It works flawlessly here on the latest build of Sun JSF RI 1.1, the 1.1_02. You can get the latest build at [http://javaserverfaces.dev.java.net]. I was using Tomcat 6.0.14 by the way, it might make difference.
Does it work if you use plain vanilla JSP files and do not pass the request through the FacesServlet? I recall some bugs related to it, but I am not sure anymore if it is related to the JSF implementation or application server used.

Address field data is not getting dispalyed in company details

Dear All,
After filling up the necessary details in the Administration->system initialization->company details->general tab->Local language for the address of the company.
I am not getting the address displayed in the Address field.
I have filled all details in street,block,building,city,zip code,state,country.
But still i am not getting anything displayed in the address field.
Kindly help me in resolving this issue.

Open Administration -> Setup -> Business Partners -> Address Formats Window.
Check if you have the address format for the Country available in this window

Please help if can figure this out. I'm convinced it is a Windows XP SP3 problem from searching on google and seeing other ppl on XP SP3 with same problem (but no working solution for myself). I'll try to be complete-listing all I've done.
I had installed: Java SE Runtime Environment v6u14 for Windows Multi-language

Then I read (http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5384879) someone had the same problem as I and they solved it by uninstalling all Java/reboot/ then install JDK 6 Update 14 with NetBeans 6.5.1 start NetBeans and then it worked for them.
So I unistalled all Java, rebooted and gave the cmd another try (before re-installing), now a new error, of course:
C:\062>java -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Then I install Java SE and NetBeans Cobundle (JDK 6u14 and NB 6.5.1) Final Release/ reboot/ open Netbeans/
go to test java page; all is good, run cmds again -and still nothing..
C:\062>java -version
java version "1.6.0_14"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_14-b08)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode, sharing)
I reassociate program with: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.007\bin\javaw.exe_

Taggert77_: I have never used NetBeans. I only installed it in the bundle as I had read on another post that somehow installing the bundle magically helped another user with the same problem (he didn't know why it worked after that either).
Before XP SP3 I was able to execute .jar file through cmd prompt. Now I am not.

The proper cmd is simply: java -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar
I did give your cmd a try, and it produced nothing :( (just like the other correct cmds)

PS. If you do a search for this you'll find an amazing amount of XP SP3 users with the same problem and no solution posted that I could find except one chap that did the unistall install order that I did above).

Jar file is not getting executed from commandline

this is the weired problem i had.
i have created a executable jar file.When i double click that file it is getting executed without any problem but when i go to command prompt and tries to run this jar by using folowing command
java -jar myjar.jar
it is giving me the error as
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError:com/build/deploy/Deploy (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)
i am not getting why it is giving me this version error.

I believe that something in your system is set up so that when you double click the jar, the correct java or javaw version is being used, but when you use the command line, an older version of java is being used.

Is it possible to download iOS 5 from one iMac and not get them totally wiped of apps and stuff. We have an iPad each and a communal email address and an iCloud address each. One iPad now is totally screwed up.

I am somewhat new to iOS and OS having grown up with DOS and Windows. I am not familiar with IMAP and iCloud and I am not even sure which types of servers my various emails use.
The problem I would anticipate with iCloud is that (I assume) it would limit my access to data (including mail) on the iCloud to when I happen to be logged onto the internet. I also assume(?) that large files (photos etc.) would require some time to download whenever I wish to access them from whichever device I happen to be using (I hope I am wrong about this).
I have kept my devices to 500gb - 1TB for OS and 32gb - 128gb for iOS but since I have pretty slow WiFi (shared with DirecTV Whole Home and Netflix streaming) it is my impression that iCloud might be quite limited due to data transfer times.
Perhaps a factor would be that I have 2 DSL lines and my main DSL line is connected to two wireless routers (to also provide WiFi in a metal building that blocks WiFi and Cellular signals)
I may be totally wrong in my assumptions regarding iCloud. My mail is not so urgent that I need access to it instantly and I could wait until I had internet access or I can get it on my iPhone. My main concern with iCloud would be my data files (Word, Pages, Excel, Numbers etc.).
On the other hand, if I wanted to keep my 10,000 emails that would take up a lot of iCloud memory and I don't know how to measure how much storage it would take or how to move Hotmail or even iCloud mail to iCloud.
It may take me some time to figure this out.

Page items not getting set upon login in APEX 4.0.2

We just upgraded our APEX in development from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2.00.07. While testing found that in APEX developer, unless we press one of the buttons (Debug/View Debus/Show Edit Links) in the tool bar on the login page, the application/page items are not getting set to display the conditional items (page regions/buttons/Tabs etc,.) Could this be some setting within APEX Developer?
But the display is fine when the application is run directly in a browser, as an end user.
Is anybody else having this issue? We are holding off our production upgrade because of this issue.
Any help is appreciated.

If you mean application builder, you can not remove login page. You need always login to builder.
If you mean your own application then change authentication scheme
