Not getting all my music from iTunes I might have too much stored like ebooks how do I delete
I have a iPod touch but have noticed I am not getting new music I purchased from iTunes onto my touch. Not sure if I have too much other things like books etc using storage, how can I correct this
What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Does iTunes see the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

My old computer broke and I lost all my music. I have now purchased a new computer and downloaded all my music again through the store but can not figure how to download my ringtones again. How do you download your ringtones again without buying them again??? Thankyou in advance
You cannot redownload ringtones.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Have you failed to do this? -

Glad 7.7.1 worked for you, I updated itunes on my macbook, and every time i try to sync the music to my ipod classic, it goes for 23 songs and then it freezes and I get "Cannot read or write to this disk", and it ejects it. I tried uninstalling itunes, reinstalling an earlier version (7.6.2) same problem, plus a new issue with itunes. (It was a clean uninstall, btw, I got everything cleaned out, I think, lol). Video's transfer fine. And no good way to get ahold of apple. That's great. If I have no music on my ipod, it's useless. Think they'll give me my money back? (lol)

You music is not in your iCloud account, it is in iTunes in the Cloud. Whether you use iCloud personally or not, it will not have an effect on the iTunes in the Cloud functionality. If you are using iTunes, then all of your purchases through iTunes will use iTunes in the Cloud as a backup for your purchases.

I accidentally deleted a folder of music from iTunes. I have Match, and now it seems deleted from all my devices. How can I get it back?
Were you in iTunes or the Finder? If you were in iTunes what exactly did you click? You say "a folder" but the only "folders" in iTunes contain Playlists and deleting a playlist will not delete tracks from the iTunes library.
When you deleted the music were you prompted to delete the tracks from the cloud? If so, did you do so?
Were you prompted to move the files to the Trash. If so did you do so? If you did have you emptied the Trash? -
I have transferred all my music from iTunes onto my USB to play on my car radio. The radio reads the music but does not play it in sequence. So it plays certain folders, then it skips folders. in certain folders it skips tracks. apparently there is a specific way to save the music into folders onto the USB with regard to naming the tracks and folders.. I have a Pioneer DEH-2350UBSW. Can anyone please help.
It is a stick, Cruzer Blade 16gig.
In the manual it says the following about the USB storage device:
1. Playable folder hierarchy is up to 8 tiers
2. Playable folders up to 500
3. Playable files up to 15 000
Under sequence of audio files it says that the user cannot assign folder numbers and specify playback sequences with this unit. It also gives an example of a hierarchy:
01 - folder
Under that is 02 which is also a folder
Under that are compressed audio files 01 to 05: folder number
Under that there is another folder same concept as above - I have attached that part of the manual in this response.
I named my folder - Folder 001 Artists name and then in that folder I added the tracks as:
001 Song title
002 song title
It played the 1st song in the folder and skipped to the next folder, I can't even locate the other tracks.
On another folder I saved 31 songs but only 29 played so I am not sure whether there is a limit.
All I need is an example of how to number and name everything. -

You can't, all content is tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't transfer content between accounts nor merge accounts.
If you can't remember the password for that account then have you tried getting it reset : http://iforgot.apple.com ?
If that doesn't let you reset it then you can try contacting iTunes Support / Apple and see if they can reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
If you can get it reset you can then update the primary email address to another address (which can't be being used on another account), either via the Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes, or via http://appleid.apple.com -
My laptop died so I've installed itunes onto another PC and my music is all on an external hardive which is connected to the new PC. How can I sync my ipod with the new itunes and get all the music onto itunes?
You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. How do I prevent itunes from moving my music from its original place ie folders in an external drive when I play music from itunes. I have all my music in artist folders and separated by MPG3/MPG4 and FLAC folders within the artist folder and itunes moves the track/s whenever i try and load selected music to my ipod/iphone. I've tried to find some sort of preference to prevent this, but no joy? What am I missing?
Try opening iTunes preferences. Then click on advanced tab. Then uncheck "Copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library." By default, iTunes copies music to its own media folder when you use iTunes to play the music.
