Not getting all objects with Universe connection

I am using CR 2008 SP2 and I am trying to create my first report using a Universe as the connection. I click on Blank Report and it opens the Database Expert. I then open Universes under Create New Connection and the Universe that I want to connect to is there but when I double click on it to create my query I am not seeing all of my Dimensions and Measures. This is a small Universe with three classes. The first class has 6 dimensions in it. The second class has two dimensions in it of which these are date dimensions and then my third dimension is my Measures dimension that has 4 measures.
I only see 5 of my 6 dimensions from the first class. I see both of my date dimensions from my date class but I only see one of my measures from my measure class. When I create a new WEBI report connecting to this universe i get everything as expected.
Any ideas?

Hi Ron,
Since you are using WebI Rich Client of Edge version I assume you are not using a CMS (you are not required to login when you start WRC). Is this correct ? if so then you might need to make sure your WRC hits the appropriate folder of universes. This can be configured from menu Tools -> Options -> General tab, where you can define a default folder for universes. Make sure you point to the folder where your latest version of universes are (locally or on a remote machine). Your WRC will always load the version of universe that is stored in that folder.

First, create a separate login on your computer for your friend. Do this BEFORE you do anything else. Next, make sure iTunes is up to date. Then:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under Preferences>Devices in iTunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book, iCal) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect her phone, iTunes running, do not sync at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on her phone will be in her itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore her itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding her contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go.

Don't drag the midi into an open Logic project. The tracks won't set up correctly.
'Open' the midi file with Logic as if it were a Logic project. Then all the tracks will be set up so you can start editing them and applying better saved sounds and instruments, but you'll be at a starting place where you can hear what's going on.

I just connected my iPad 2 to my Mac book to get the contents of my iPad one. I am not getting all apps. Some are missing, I now know, because I did not do a dial sync iPad 1. What do I do now?

Transfer the purchases from the iPad 1 into iTunes and then sync the iPad 2 again.
Connect the iPad to the Mac, launch iTunes. Right click on the iPad under the devices heading and select Transfer Purchases. You can also select the iPad and then go to File>Transfer Purchases from the menu at the top.
After you transfer the apps to the iTunes library, sync the iPad 2 again. Make sure that you select all of the apps to sync to the iPad 2.

As the download links on OTN are broken I can not upgrade, and I'd rather not work in command line sqlplus.

My copy of sqldeveloper isn't located in that directory. Would that matter?
In the mean time I have disabled filtering the tables node. Opening the tables node doesn't result in exceptions anymore.
Now, when I click on any table in that node I get 4 identical ora-904 error messages for sys.o.name for any table.
Apparently it is querying either the all_objects view and it thinks it is querying sys.obj$.
I didn't yet enable sql_trace for the session, I'm more or less giving up on sqldeveloper. I can not use the space bar in any datagrid, sqldeveloper has always been extreemly unresponsive when navigating the schema browser (as opposed to Toad), etc, etc. Too bad I bought Sue Harpers book, but I think I will be de-installing sqldeveloper soon.

Error when refreshing WEBI report with Universe Connection Type "SSO"

Hi Experts:
We are trying to refresh the Webi report in Infoview with Universe Connection set as "Use Single Sign On when refreshing the report at view time", so that we can leverage SAP OLAP authorization variable from Bex Query which the Universe is built on.
However got the error of "incomplete logon data" after all the configurations done following below blogs:

We already have Win AD SSO to SAP setup, and in BO CMC, Win AD user is mapped to SAP user ID.
The SNC settings are:
- AD Account: service.test.bobj (all lower-letters)
- 32-bit gsslib on the BO server, and 64 bit on the BW server side.
- SNC0: p:service.test.bobj at DOMAIN
- SU01 --> BO_Service ; SNC: p:service.test.bobj at DOMAIN
- Entitlement system tab --> username: BO_Service
SNC Name: p:service.test.bobj at DOMAIN
- SNC settings tab:
SNC Lib: c:\winnt\gsskrb5.dll
Mutual Authentication settings: p:SAPServiceBP0 at DOMAIN
In CMC, the role can be imported if "RFC activated" option unchecked in SNC0.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, we are trying to set up server side trust and enable SSO; but we still couldn't success.
What we did is:
1. We followed installation guide chapter 6, generate certificate and PSE, etc. All looks good.
2. Then we still have the "incomplete logon data" error when refreshing webi report after logon using Windows AD user ID.
3. Then we trace the PFC connection, the log is as below. We checked several BO notes, e.g. 1500150, 1461247.. The part bothers us is that we even don't have URI displayed in the log when system trying to use SNC, and we couldn't get more info on this which make us very difficult to diagnosis.

Not getting all my bytes from inout stream.

hi,
i'm writing an i-appli that interacts with a java web server. my problem is that i'm not getting all of my bytes through to the phone.
actually i'm using an emulator right now. when i use the real phone i set content length on the server side and it all goes through. but for some reason when i set content length on the server the emulator doesn't pick up anything(using i-jade emulators) bug??.
it should work though because when i print out the number from in.available() it matches with the number of bytes that i want to go through.
but when i grab the int from the read it is less than what returns from available().
here's a snippet of the i-appli code. i'm printing out TESTBYTELEN to the screen and it is less than when i set it to 'bc' from in.available. (i'm getting 3784 of 4420 bytes EVERY time)

Also, testing with available is not that good... it just tells you how many bytes can be read without blocking, not the amount of bytes that can actually be read. So the code should be more like:

(to clarify, in.read returns the number of bytes that were actually read and -1 when there are no more bytes to be read)

I had a recent not so great experience with Adobe Connect that I need you help on. Keep in mind that I tested the Connect session with the presenter the day before and Connect worked very well.   On the day of the event I opened the room to get the speaker logged in as a “Presenter”. No problems with that however I noticed that there was no “Share My Screen” button to be found anywhere. In essence I could not get him connected.
To resolve this I was forced to close out the old session and start a fresh one where I could share the presenter’s screen. Once we were going a few of the participants mentioned that they were having problems getting audio. Most online said they were fine but a few mentioned that we not getting the audio fluidly. I explained that it may be due to their bandwidth and to be patient that it would cache. Then I notice that same issue that I had talked about with a Connect technician before where all audio stops working after about 1hour into the presentation. They way I have resolved this was to log the presenter out and log him back in.
Keep in mind that I am online with 3 other computers via WiFi monitoring and seeing the presentation as the online viewers are seeing it and I can see it coming through flawlessly. So, for the few who had problems I attributed it to the lack of bandwidth in their area.   However, at 1 hour into the presentation the audio dropped out completely while the video was fine and this reflected on my machines as well. This is the continuing experience that I keep having with Connect. The total amount of people online was 9.
Now, I have a Photoshop user group meeting that will take place online this Thursday June 17th from 5 – 7pm featuring Dave Cross and we have about 200 people registered for that. It would be great if we could have one of the engineers attend that session.

Thank youSince you don't have a set size for the objects, then you will have to read through the entire file always keeping the last two objects, and as soon as the read fails return them.
As I said in your first thread, however, you would be much better off writing the objects with a set size (i.e. calling ByteArrayOutputStream(size) with a single max size rather than ByteArrayOutputStream( ) ) as you would then be able to use seek adding 4 (for the int) to size and multiplying by the position of the recordset you want to read (0 for the first). You would then, also be able to overwrite records and the such (which is the usually one of the main reasons for using something like RandomAccessFile, i.e. creating a Flat DB-Like File).
Edit:
And you would probably lose the int, then anyway (when using a set size), as it wouldn't be needed.

Why the 2LIS_08TRTK and 2LIS_08TRTLP extractors can not get all data. I had used the RSA3 and get 10 registers, when a check at the VTTK table I had 20 registers, I didnt use filters at RSA3, could you help to know what happen o correct it.

can not get external hard drives to connect to my computer I am using a 17" Mac book Pro 10.7.5.
I have 2 iomegas and 1 LaCie. Changed cables. I can feel the external hard drives running and
I can hear them running but I can not get them on the computer any more. They did work at one time.
Can any one PLEASE help?

Nothing appear on my desktop.
I did Repair and Verify the HDDs in Disk Utility>First Aid from the
Utilites App about a dozen times ans they all said everything was good
except for the last time there were erors found and I ran the
Disk Utility from the Start Up Disk and the repairs were made and everything
was subposed to te good and still Nothing on the desk top.

Not getting all required samples

Hi, I'm new to Labview and don't understand why I'm not getting all the samples I ask for.
I have a USB-6212-BNC module collecting data from 2 analog voltage inputs. I'm using ai0 for the analog trigger, using basically the same VI found as an example here: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-11764
The problem is that I am not getting all the samples needed. As you can see in the example below I only got ~1000 samples when asking for 2000.

Hi bigdoug,
the output of the graph is what you get from the (missing) subVI calculation.
The DAQmxRead is configured to read 2000 samples and it surely does so as you would get a DAQmx error message instead...
Please check your subVI or attach it here with some meaningful default data!

Not getting all of my email

Somehow, I'm not getting all of my email (via iCloud). My wife forwared an email to me, I got the "ding" but no email. She sent it to another IMAP account that I have and I got it just fine. She repeatedly tried to send it to my .mac account and nothing is received. Sometimes during the day, I hear the email "ding" but no mail is received. The biggest problem is subscribing to various developer forums that require replying to an email to finish the subscription. I'm hung up in never-never land. I get a lot of mail from a lot of sources with no problems - just not sure if it's 100%. Running Mac Mini 2011 with Mountain Lion 10.8.2, iCloud with .mac/.me/.icloud email account. I don't know if this is an iCloud or mail.app problem. Any ideas? Thanks.

Update: I guess it isn't mail.app because I don't get these emails on my iPhone 4S either.

Hey, Toad, thanks for the links. Yeah, I saw the Macworld article but I didn't think these email had anything of a nature that would trigger iCloud's spam filter. But, the Macintouch article I had not seen and it tells me a lot.
I guess I'll have to plot some strategy on how to handle this stuff.
What is crazy, though, is that I get the *ding* but no mail. I tried using the Activity window, had my wife send the the email, but the Activity window contents just fly by and the window clears. If the Activity window had a Clear button for the user to use, it might be more helpful. Duh!
Anyway, thank you very much for responding. I'll re-register with my development forums using a different name and email address.
(I might ask my wife to send her email to her iCloud account and see if it makes it.)

Not getting all my mail

I have an Imac and an Ipad WIFI and use a Time machine base station WIFI. I also have two email accounts, both on the same ISP. The Imac is not turned on most of the time and I use the Ipad for most of my daily computing. The problem is the Ipad is not getting all my mail messages from the server. Whenever I start up my IMAC, I get more messages that the Ipad received. I have done a full reset on the Ipad, but as yet can't fix the problem.
Any ideas??

Very long shot - which might have something to do with it. The downloads are set to 25, and I don't refresh the load button. However, that is only part of the answer I think. This morning, I sent out two email messages to a group, of which I am on the list, and one my Ipad I received only one. Alos, one of the things that happens is that my wife is the other account. And we belong to a community which has a server which bounces email to all members of the community, when we send the server an email. Quite ofen, one of us will get the mail, but not the other, and it is not consistent as to who gets the email.
Fun isn't it???

Not getting all texts on 650

i am a newbie and i apologize in advance for my ignorance.
i am now on my second treo 650. both have had the same problem. i am not getting all my texts from other verizon friends. on their phone it says it went though, but i never receive it. on my old phone i could take out my battery and then it would come through after the phone restarted, not so on my replacement. i am just not getting them. the sound on my sms is not working all the time either.
i am getting a little frustrated considering i pay for texts i am not getting and i never know i am not getting them until someone asks me why i didn't respond!
