Not getting dac email alerts

I have setup 2 email recipients in the dac to receive notifications for ETL success or failure, level 5. Both addresses receive the test email when sent, but no etl notifications are received by either. Has anyone seen this problem before, or have any suggestions as to what could be causing this?

Tried changing the ssl and authentication settings with a DAC restart each time and still have not received notifications of ETL success or failure.
I asked the email server admin to look and he indicated that he is not seeing anything coming through with the user id that is setup. It appears that it is not even attempting to generate the notification.
We are getting ready to do a reinstall of our Dev env, see what happens after that I guess.

For Mail, from your Mail menu bar (top of your screen) click Mail > Preferences then select the General tab.
Click the pop up menu to the right of New messages sound to make a selection.

Apple does not have email support. If you're not getting the email verification from Apple, check your anti-spam filters, on your computer and with your email provider, to make sure that emails from Apple aren't being blocked. You can also try the Security Questions option rather than the email authentication. See:

I solved the problem. Had nothing to do with Mac or iphoto. Problem must be my the internet connection to my provider.
Upload at my office worked without any problem. One problem solved, now i am aware with a lot of discussions with my providers helpdesk ;-)

TS1398 bought a mini and also have an IPAD2 have used ITunes to download all programs to the mini but have NOT BEEN ABLE TO have the connection to the Internet and CAN NOT get any emails. I NEED HELP!!!!!!!

I thought when I bought a MINI that all I'd need to do is sync up with ITunes to get all apps and setting to the Mini. I was wrong as I can not connnect to the internet and can not get any emails. Have tried just about all suggestions under support but need to reach out to actual users who may have run into similar prblem. I must be missing something as I have to believe that Apple would make it as simple/easy as possible to connect to the interne. I still have my internet connect with my Ipad2.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

It sounds like you are doing the correct process to reset your security questions, but you are not getting the email at your recovery address. I recommend checking your spam folder first. If it is not there I would next reach out to

Not getting any email notification after configuration

I had configured in portal for E-Mail notification by using the following link .

but still i am not getting any email notification when i reset or lock the user .

Hi shashank,
you referenced the configuration for the collaboration service e-mail transport.
This is needed for instance for the collaboration rooms invitation.
For notifications about user management you will have to configure e-mail notification in the UME.

1. Spam folder
2. Junk folder
3. Rescue email
