Not getting desktop version on business catalyst

I recently changed my hosting on one of my sites from Vistaprint to Business Catalyst (CC member). I also created another site and hosted it on BC. Both sites were developed in Adobe Muse and published to BC. Both sites have a desktop layout and a phone layout. The "theitguru.ca" site has a link in the top right corner to take one to the DESKTOP version of the site. REQUESTING the desktop version from Safari or Chrome on my IOS8 iPhome, does not produce the desktop version of the site (except when I follow the URL at the top right corner of "theitguru.ca" (phone version) of the site).
Trying to bring up the desktop version of "pixelgrower.ca" or "theitguru.ca" from the browser's options, does nothing on the BC hosted sites.
The Vistaprint hosting services DID obey the request for the desktop version of my "pixelgrower.ca" site.

Could not get remote version of file.name to compare

Hi All,
Running CS5.5 installed on my new MacPro running 10.6.8.
I have to sites installed. The first one works great including file compare and sync.
On the 2nd site, when I try to do a file compare, I get "Could not get remote version of xxx to compare, where xxx is my selected filename.
As I said, the on the first site, this works perfectly.
I can get files, I can put files, but I cannot compare a file.
I checked the file permissions. They are 755 and the owner is set the similarly to the first site that works.
Another hint is that when I try to sync the site, it tells me that syncronization is not necessary. When I view the files anyway, it shows zero files, even though the show all files checkbox is checked.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

OK, I fixed this, but not sure how.
I think the cache was corrupt.

Website not updating when published to Business Catalyst

I have just updated a website in Muse and it works fine using the preview options in Muse.

'The Team' section should not be a scrolling slider as I've updated it to show all 3 team members together.
When I publish to Business Catalyst on first view it shows the site has been updated but when I refresh the page or go back from the news page, it shows the previous design.
I have cleared the cache/history etc in all browsers but it still doesn't work.
I've published using both the modified files and All files options but it makes no difference.
It must be a BC issue and I'd like to get to the actual files to delete them and upload from scratch but don't know where to find them.
Can anyone help with this or have any suggestions to resolve the problem?
EDIT: I have just gone to the 'develop' section and found the files for the site.
When I click on the Index.html file it shows two Index files - one the old and the other the new.
Secularly Business Catalyst has not deleted the old Index file and this is the problem.
Can anyone suggest how to delete this file, leaving the correct one?

Hi,
I see two index file, one is in root folder and second is in htdocs folder. I assume you are creating this folder while publishing the site using Muse. This is why default index file is not deleted.
To delete it, make sure you leave the folder name blank in publish window of Muse, in this way Muse will publish in root folder of business catalyst by removing all the files.

Do I not get full versions of the CC software when I buy a CC membership?

So I bought my CC membership back in January I think. And the first thing I did was install Premiere Pro CC. I needed it. Now about a month later, I need it again, and it says that I'm on a trial version. I signed into my CC, and tried again, but it still tells me I'm on a trial. The same thing happens with Speedgrade. Apparently after paying for 2 months of subcription, I can only use a 30 day trial version of the software I need. Is this a normal thing? Or should I call adobe, and get this fixed? I'd really really like to have working software on my computer, and I'm spending the money to have it. I'm in college, and on a pretty tight budget, so if I don't get actual versions of the software, I'm going to cancel my subscription. Nowhere on the literature on the CC does it say that you only get access to 30 day trials of most of the software. Please give me a hand here. I need to know if I should end my subscription or not.

Lightroom not uploading web gallery to Business Catalyst

I generated a photo gallery in Lightroom to use on my Business Catalyst hosted site, but when I go to upload the gallery I get an "unknown error has occurred". After searching this on Google, it appears that this is a rather common problem that has been going on for some time. Any idea why it happens? And more importantly, is there a way to fix it?

But when I use the “default template” nothing happens.

Not getting 'M' version of master Data

Hi SAP Gurus,
In SAP BI, I loaded Master Data (say vendor data) with Flat file and getting all the data in 'A' version & not in 'M' version.
What my assumption was: firstly the data should be in M version and then after activating Master data InfoObject, the data should go to Active version.
What i wanted is to have data in M version for all the data in new flat file irrespective of whetehr that data exists or not.

Thats the normal behaviour of the system.
The status 'M' only appears when modified data goes into your master data, otherwise it will always be in status 'A' active, that's why for new records you don't need to activate your master data, only to changed attributes.

Saya it all. Make a change in Catalist try to sync with Catalist and it say... Text frame on page 'HOME' was modified on this web page, but the change could not be merged into Muse.

This error happens in the case where the act of merging a text change from Business Catalyst could end up deleting a hyperlink in your text frame. In such cases, Muse leaves the text frame unchanged but warns you so you may merge the change manually.
The warning message identifies the text frame content, the containing page title, and a link to the web-page on Business Catalyst; that should help with the manual merge.

When syncing l am not getting complete versions of all songs.

When syncing my songs from my library their are several songs that are not the complete version and cut off before end of song. Any strategies to correct this malfunction?

Apple does not support transferring files from the device to the computer if they are third party. It is great that you were able to transfer the ones you did. There is a way to do it but it sounds like you already did it because if not half of them would not come over. The files can probably not be found because they are third party and the files are not compatible with the transfer process.

Why is Photobucket is re-directing me to the mobile version of their site, not the desktop version - only since updating to FF v7.0.1 and not an issue in Safari. NB running on MAC OSX 10.5.8.

Firefox automatically re-directs to m.photobucket.com/albums/aardvark_1964
Only affects Firefox since updating to v7.0.1. NB Safari is unaffected on the same machine.
Have flushed the cache, reset JS, etc etc.
