Not getting meaningful error messages from SAPBOUICOM
Almost whenever I make a coding mistake that generates an exception in sapbouicom, I get the cryptic message: "Exception from HRESULT: 0xFFFFE4A2. at SAPbouiCOM...". The hex value is usually different, but I get absolutely no indication of what has gone wrong. It wasn't always this way and it's really difficult to debug when I get no information. An old post on the forum suggests deleting the SM_OBS_DLL folder on the development machine. I have done that but it hasn't fixed the problem.
I'm currently getting the message when I try to issue validvalues.remove on a user-defined field on a system form. Other posts about validvalues.remove indicate that they get a message informing them that the object is not a user-defined item. How lucky they are!
Any ideas on how to get my messages back? I'm using b1 2005 PL 29

Thanks, Sandra and I have thought about doing that. And you are quite the optimist! It's more work than I have time for, though, especially when the product is simply deficient in this regard. I can't imagine one customer that I code for that would find it acceptable for me to give them a hex code indicating representing an error code that they would then have to translate and look up in a book somewhere!

I am now getting an error message from Elementsautoanalyzer.exe, extendscript.dll not found. reinstalling the application may fix this problem. is there a fix for this?

Is your MacBook using Mac OS X 10.6.8 as indicated in your post? If so you will not be able to fully integrate with iCloud.
iCloud and Snow Leopard, by Roger Wilmut describes what iCloud options are available for Snow Leopard.
If you are using Lion, go to iCal>Preferences...>Accounts, and delete/re-add your iCloud CalDAV server. -
To try to resolve this problem, I have done the following actions.
1 - I have run Disk Warrior.
2 - I have repaired permissions.
3 - I have deleted all plist that are either Cannon or Adobe.
4 - I have downloaded and installed the lastest versions of Adobe Reader and the Cannon printer drivers.
I am still unable to print PDF's.
In Safari, I can print only the first page. In a multipage PDF, Safari only seems to recognize the first page.
In Adobe Reader, I get an error message from my printer: "/usr/libexec/cups/filter/pstocupsraster failed".
Any help would be greatly appreicated!Quit Safari.

Hi,on starting firefox which i have used solely as my browser for years i am now getting an error message from java script application that shows my username followed by a message saying; 'username'-Invalid username/password combination.If you keep getting this error,try entering your email address as your username'. I then press the OK button within that error message box and it dissapears and everything seems ok although hover my cursor over the mail(envelope) icon and it says not connected.
I only started having this problem since downloading firefox 4.It also does not tell me where this problem is occuring so i do not know where to log on with this information.I would be most grateful for any help with this matter.Many thanks.Take a look in the Error Console for details about that.

I have a Canon MX882 printer and more often than note get an error message that says "Printer not Connected." When I check the printer itself, I get confirmation that the access point is connected. I tried reloading the software and that seemed to have solved the problem for awhile but I'm experiencing the same problem. Any ideas what is causing this?
Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

Every time I sign into my Macbook, I get an error message from Automator; "The data couldn't be read because it has been corrupted.". I have never created an Automator workflow. How do I find out what Automator is trying to run and stop it?
Maybe it's set as a login item:
- System Preferences: Users and Groups:
- Highlight your user account in the left pane/list
- Click "Login" tab at the top.
See if you have an Automater action on the list
- Note, you can select it, then right-click, and can then select "Reveal in Finder". That way you might have an idea what installed it. -
I'm getting an error message from Firefox that says, "Something is trying to trick Firefox into accepting an insecure update. Please contact your network provider and seek help." Do you know what is going on here--what this problem could be? (I do have the latest Firefox version already installed. I have previously received Firefox error messages that say "Firefox Update Failed." However, I already had the latest Firefox version installed when I received those error messages.)
Apparently this occurs when Firefox has problems with security certificates. There have been a few questions about this. I will try to get advice about this.
Apparently you are using Internet Explorer 9 (From your system details). Do you have Google Updater plugin installed on Firefox ?
(That been implicated in this sort of problem by one poster, and some users with the problem do have Google Updater, but some do not) -

Every time when I try and send an email from windows live I get an error message from WebKit2WebProcess.exe.
Not sure if I deactivate this from Windows live whether I will compromise my security.

BeckyThank you Matt. I'm sure this will be frustrating ...but the more I think about this problem there more info I have to share. The emails I write that do not get sent do end up in my "sent" folder but never reach the recipient. And, most perplexing, the issue/problem is sporadic. It was coming and going before I switched over to the SSL/TLS option in T-bird. And...since the switch it has reappeared and disappeared. I have made zero changes other than the above mentioned. I did get a security update today for T-bird perhaps this will help?

I am running windows XP and have successefully loaded Forefox. My Firefox will not launch and I do not get an error message. When I click on the firefox icon I see an hourglass for two to three seconds and it still does not launch. Please help!

I have a Free Agent external backup hard drive connected to my iMac Intel desktop via USB, I never unplug it. Why do I get an error message, from time to time, upon startup stating, "Disk was disconnected improperly. Always eject disk before disconnecting."?
I never unplug the external harddrive, and the error message comes up only occassionaly upon startup. Maybe the USB connection gets disrupted enough to cause the computer to see it as disconnected and then reconnected while the iMac is powered.

Norton is probably the issue. It can really screw things up, that is one reason I never use it. See if you can temporarily disable it and then try the sync and see if that works.

Hi, For some reason when I'm placing an image in my doc. The image keeps inserting very small and fuzzy. I don't know what I'm doing wrong when I'm placing the image. The image is 750 by 500px and when I place it in the doc it goes into the smallest
