Not getting messages or notifications...

Okay so I'm not getting notifications for my Skype messages anymore I checked that my status was online and everything was fine there and my group message status for getting notifications was also on. Skype notifications was on in my settings but still no notifications.
On top of that I go into the Skype app and sometimes the messages don't even show up there! It's similar to when their is a network issue on my end but I'm able to send and receive messages again but there are missing messages that others in the group chat have received. It's very annoying because I'll send a few messages and ten minutes later there will be a message between my messages that I never got before. This only happens sometimes though and usually it's just the notifications. I'll go into Skype and there will be thirty new messages from all sorts of group and one on one chats that I never got.
So I'm not getting notifications and even when in Skype sometimes I don't get messages even though i have a perfect internet connection and my status is always online and connected. I already tried deleting the whole Skype app and redownloading it but still no use. Could it be something to do with the fact I haven't updated to the new iOS? If not what is the problem and how do I fix it?

I havent had IOS notifications fro months, and am right up to date (iPhone6 and IOS 8.2)
Microsoft seem to have lost all interest in fixing the problem. The only positive is that battery life has increased as Skype never receives any messages.

did that. now getting no messages on anything. opened up messages on the Mac and saw i had been sent many that never showed up on my phone.

Same problem, I have a season pass for Mad Men and suddenly cannot download, says iTunes is temporarily unavailable. Problem occurred before I updated to the new iTunes and afterwards, on two different computers. Here is what Apple had to say:

Not getting any email notification after configuration

I had configured in portal for E-Mail notification by using the following link .

Hi shashank,
you referenced the configuration for the collaboration service e-mail transport.
This is needed for instance for the collaboration rooms invitation.
For notifications about user management you will have to configure e-mail notification in the UME.

Chat user is not getting message from the other users

In my application when user [A] initiate the chat with user[B] , I am facing following issues
-          User[B] is not getting initiation notification so that I am unable to open chat pod for user [A] on user[B] application
-          Due to above problem , User[B] not getting any message sent by the User[A]
-          User[A] can send only one message and it is displayed on simple chat pod

A) are these methods copied twice in the code here on purpose?
   connectChat() and onSynchronizationChange is repeated in code due copy paste mistake
B) are both users subscribing to _collectionNode right away? Do each of them
get to onSynchronizationChange?

Now both the user getting chat message, have following issue
When user A initiate the chat with user B this action is not opening chat pod / window on user B end which shows user A has initiated chat with user B
But when user B click on user A name to initiate the chat, this action opens a chat window and user B can see message send by user A
Above scenario is not normal chat behavior in which other user gets the notification of chat . what could be the problem

IMessage not getting messages on mac but I receive them on my iPod

I get messages on my iPod so I know people reply but when I look on my mac iMessage I don't have the messages. Same account everything its like my mac isn't receiving push notifications. Is there anyway to "reboot" iMessage on mac. I quit and open. I've signed out and signed back in on Accounts but nothing seems to work.

Can you Send from the Mac ?
Do the Contacts names go red every time you try them in the 'to Spot to Start a conversation ? (Not Registered message)
Or do you get an alert under the text you just sent that read "Not Delivered"
After that check the Contacts app on both are syncing.

com.apple.ichat.StatusMessages.plist only contains this info

This side has nothing to do with the iMessages accounts.
The same menu appears in the Menu Bar Drop down (if you display it) and the Messages > My Status item.
You could try deleting com.apple.imagent.plist as this holds all the accounts that Login in Messages and FaceTime and may give it an suitable "restart"

Not getting shared calendar notifications on new MacBook Pro

Once I got a new MacBook Pro (2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB flash storage) and transferred my data from my old MacBook, I stopped getting notifications of changes made to shared calendars owned by someone else. (Changes made by others to shared calendars that I own still generate notifications.)
In iCloud preferences, Calendars is checked.
Calendar is in my Notification Center, and its notifications are set as alerts.
In Calendar preferences, "Turn off shared calendar messages in Notification Center" is not checked.
In Info for individual shared calendars, "Ignore alerts" is not checked.
I removed one of the shared calendars, then its owner resent an invitation to it, and I accepted. It didn't help; I still did not receive notifications.

This is very strange, but yesterday, weeks after I set up my new machine and found this problem, I started getting shared calendar notifications again out of the blue. I have no explanation.

Not getting all the notifications to the Mobile Device

Hi All,
We are not able to get all the notifications that are assigned to the mobile device. Only part of the notifications are downloading to mobile device. I can see using MAM30_011_GETLIST there are 195 notifications assigned to that device. Out of 195, I can able to see only 97 notifications on the device.
I debugged and found that whenever I am creating a notifications using some functional locations either from the backend or using mobile device that never get downloaded to mobile device.
Please through some light on this issue I would be grateful to you.We are using Server Driven Functionality.
MAM version is MAM30 SR05.

Hi,
The reason is very simple here. Some of the notifications are referring to technical objects(equipment/functional location) which are actaully not present on the middleware. So when a user request for data from the client to the middleware, because there is a reference from notification to technical objects, middleware will only send those notifications whose all references are actually present on the middleware.
So the way to check if all the technical objects are present in the middleware or not, you can do the following:
1. First check the no. of entries for both equipment and functional location in the middleware.
2. Then later go to the backend, as yours is server driven, then i would say go to variant of technical objects, execute the variant and make a note of the no. of entries it gives.
3. Verify if both middleware and backend gives same no. of entries.
If no, then try to correct the replication and then do a sync from the client.
If yes, then what I see is, even though you have all technical objects selected as a part of variant, there are still some notifications with technical objects which are not a part of technical objects selection in the above variant.
So, try to change the variant for technical objects to get more no. of technical objects which covers all the technical objects that might be a part of your notifications.

GMail POP3 problem: Not getting messages with sender "me"

HI guys,
I have an account called [email protected] , I successfully sent mails to the same using javamail.In this messages,sender is marked as "me".
Now I want to read all the messages in inbox,including the messages sent by same account itself.(messages with "me" sender).
But I notices that javamail doesnt read any messages which the sender is "me".
Is there a solution for this?

Ok.Heres what happens.
When I send emails to the same account using gmail webbase application , those mails (which the sender is "me") are read from my Java-POP3 code.
But when I send mail using my Java-SMTP code , and try to retrieve them using same Java-POP3 program,those mails are not read.
Here is my temp account that I am using

password: umanga123
You can see there are 3 mails (please dont delete them) , which were sent using my Java-SMTP code.And one mail which is,sent from my yahoo account.
Below Is the java-POP3 code that I am reading my messages.You can run them your self and see that the messages with "me" and not reading,only the message from yahoo is reading.
You can test following code without any modifications..

My friend with iphone 4s is not getting messages from my iphone 3gs even tho we both have the new software. everyone else gets our txts but we don't get each others. Help???

My mistake, I read your post too quickly. I thought you said that you were both getting the same messsages. Is your friend not getting just your messages or does she not get anyone's messages? If she's not getting just your messages you might want to try deleting her contact on your phone and creating it again. Sometimes that will clear things up. Also, obviously the contact must match the number she receives messages at.

Not getting messages

OK, I did an update (not sure what kind it just said to update), now I can't get into my facebook app (it says can't find data server), not receiving messages (other than phone and SMS), and can't access internet on browser. I verified that data server is on, tried to initialize the email again and it says device had a problem connecting to the server, I'll probably go to the verizon store tomorrow but thought somebody might be able to help.
