Not Getting Models in Used Models.

Hi all,
I've two DCs(not local).
One mainproject and one models project.
In the models project i created a public part for a rfc model.
I added this public part to my Used DCs of my mainproject.
Now I want to use this model in this project .
When I choose add from the context menu from "Used Models" I can't find him there. ( I am using NWDS 2004s ).
Please help, what am i doing wrong?

Hi
It looks like its not been rebilt properly.
After you add model to the public part in models project you need to rebuild it i.e
click on the model DC and rebild it
and again right mouse click on DC name and select Build from Developement component side .
Then add this model to Used DCs
Now you can make use of this project in mainproject.

Do NOT get any MacBook 2012 models if you use Adobe CS4, 5, 5.5 or 6. All models are crashing on any dialog box popup's, i.e. they are nearly unusable for work, unless you like saving every 30 seconds. They do restart Indesign very fast after it crashes... Apple has made no comment on what seems to be an obvious video card driver issue in OS X 10.7.4 on the new 2012 models. There are a number of other video related issues as well, but the show stopper for us is the Indesign incompatibility. Google "fixed" the Chrome problems by removing the 3D accelerator calls thereby slowing down Chrome on these models.

That is a pain then. Pretty much all of the OS included applications (finder, Mail, iTunes, Safari,...) are all fully 64-bit programs now (since Lion) so I can see where launching them when booted into 32-bit mode could cause stability issues.
If you boot into 32-bit mode and just run the Tascam software without launching anything else, will it work?
Was it alright in 10.6? And if so, how about keeping 10.6 in a virtual machine or on a separate disc or partition?

IPhone5s not getting wifi connectivity using iBaton router-BSNL broad band

I have been using my IPhone5s over BSNL Wifi router and due to some erro I have replaced the same with iBaton router. After replacing it I am not able to connect my Iphone to the wifi. I have used the normal method to search the wifi router and keyed in the wifi password, but the Iphone5s is not getting connected to wifi (its always in search mode). I am able to connect my laptop and Samsung S3 with out any difficulty and can browse the sites. I have tried few methods found over the net to connect the Iphone using static ip, though for few seconds the phone is getting connected to the wifi, it again goes back to the search mode of wifi

JPF not getting invoked when using PageURL

Team Portal -
I am having a problem with creating links to other portlets.
I have one page flow portlet that checks for the "page" input parameter to redirect
to different pages.
Now, another portlet needs to have links to the different pages within the page
flow portlet. I am using the PageURL to create the links -
PageURL gotoPageLink1 = PageURL.createPageURL(request, response, "linksPortetPage");
gotoPageLink1.addParameter("page", "page1");
PageURL gotoPageLink2 = PageURL.createPageURL(request, response, "linksPortetPage");
gotoPageLink2.addParameter("page", "page2");
and so on.
However, all these links go to Page1. It seems that the begin action in the linksPortlet
does not get called.
Help please.

I can not get sound when using Petville, on Face Book.

I use my room mates computer, sometimes, as it is a desktop, but he owns it, and has an account for me (I have an old lap top). He is away for Government training in California, and I ABSOLUTELEY CAN NOT mess up his settings...but, I do not think I can, because I am not listed as an administrator. I play Petville, as a silly game, to wind down, but, I can not get SOUND, on this computer anymore...don't know why. Sure there is a reasonable explanation. It worked before, now it does not. At one time I clicked on NO SOUNDS in the control p[anel (maybe I do have administrator priveledges)...changed it to Windows default, added sounds, customized it & named it, on my user name-not his. For the life of me, I cannot figure this out-but after clicking this and that, I realized it is something about applications, and what is compatible with Mozilla/Firefox. HELP!

Full text not getting displayed while using RSRT

Hi,
I am facing issue while downloading data using RSRT in BI system.
When I go to RSRT and execute a report the output doesn't display full text for a characteristic. i.e. the characteristic has a size of 60 characters, but only 30 chars ( approx) are being displayed as report output in RSRT.
COuld anyone here please help me in getting the full text using RSRT transaction?
I am not using Bex here for the reason that the output has more than 1.8 lac records and hence I get an error while using Bex
WHen I try to execute this report using Bex for a small selection I could see full text there.
And there is no text master data maintained for this characteristic.

As you said you have 1.8 Lac records, There is no point in increasing the size to maximum number possible i.e 65K .
You have following three options to satisfy your requirement.:
1.    Usage of web reporting for export of more than 65k rows. According the note: 1127156 - Safety belt: Result set is too large, in BW version 7.x it I possible to set parameters that would allow such a massive export of data.
2.    Functionality of OpenHubs. Data can be placed directly into the files (e.g. in CSV format) on application server. Be careful here OpenHubs are specially licensed and by using it there are additional fees.
3.    Coding of custom ABAP report which runs BW query and gets all its output and saves it in the flat files.

If I have :TEMPORARY_APPLICATION_ITEM as 'Vikas' it gets displayed properly but if I have '<b>Vikas<b>' it shows null. if it has any HTML tags function l_Opt_Xml.firstChild.nodeValue is not working properly .Please tell me what modiifcation can I use in function l_Opt_Xml.firstChild.nodeValue to get Values with HTML tags also to get displayed.

I have noticed that you have been trying to help out.
Let me offer some feedback, please.
Normal globals are OK if you have a value that is written by one entity ONLY. Multiple readers are are just fine. More than one writter can quickly lead to race conditions so they are habitually avoided by many experienced developers.
There is a common construct used in LV that is called by a number of different names i.e. LV2 global or Functional global.
Do a search on this site for many discusions toughting the benifits of a functional global.
I find that there are a number of benifits found in using these functional globals.
The first that comes to mind is that these constructs have a diagram so you can control exactly how they operate. (This is something that frustrated me when I was first starting out w/LV. What do you mean I can't get at the diagram?!)
Another benefit is that they take advantage of the nature of a "non-reentrant" VI in that only one entity can access a time thereby reducing the chances of race conditions. To do the same thing using normal globals, you have to build the global into an action engine or resort to using semaphores.
Next, they allow for the encapsulation of code. This is very helpful when you have situation where some shared data structures needs to be read, modified, and then written back. Doing this type of operation using normal globals is a disaster waiting to happen.
Next, LV2 globals can be served from one machine to another by using VI server techniques. Everything works the same as if the LV2 global was on the local machine.
Next, large blocks of data can be manipulated "in-place" (i.e. the operation is performed on the data in a single buffer instead of being copied, modified and then written back). ALL of the top entries in the LabVIEW Zone Dictionary Challenge used a variation on this construct.
So,
If the situation indicates that there is a single writter and multiple reads, globals are fine. Otherwise a LV2 global should be concidered.

Database is not getting shutdown when using command "stopsap all"

I installed ERP 2005(ECC6.0) using oracle on HP-UX with SID=ER1, The installation was successful, but I am facing two issues now.
1. When I stop sap using command 'stopsap all' only instances is getting shutdown not the database, I have to Explicitly shutdown the database (oracle).

The Second issue that I am facing is with the dbs_ora_schema= SAPSR3,

Servlet not getting invoked on using RequestDispatcher

In the following code I am getting a blank page instead of the MenuServlet being invoked

So basically there are no exceptions thrown by your code?? Try this modified code and see if "After dispatching to MenuServlet" is shown on the console or not.

Table space not getting cleaned after using free method (permanent delete)

Hi ,
We are using the free method of the LIB OBJ, to permanently delete the objects. As per documentation, the ContentGarbageCollectionAgent will be cleaning the database which runs in a scheduled mode. But the log of that ContentGargabageCollectionAsgent shows, all zero for objects without reference, objects cleared,etc. I.e the table space remains the same before and after deleteing all the contents in the cmsdk database. But the agent is running as per the schedule but just comes out doing nothing.
Can anbody put some light on this issue.

Yes we are using USERS tablespace for our Development.
I ran the query. The result is:
SYSTEM MANUAL NOT AFFECTED

CTXSYS_DATA MANUAL NOT AFFECTED
CMSDK1_DATA MANUAL NOT AFFECTED
(USERS belongs to develpoment cmsdk schema. And CMSDK1 for Prod CMSDK schema)
From the results I see only "Manual", but still I don't see the tablespace size being coming down. Both table space sizes (USER and CMSDK1) always grows higher and higher.
Also to let you know, We use ORACLE EM Console (Standalone) application to see the oracle databse information online. Will there be any thing to do with the tool we use to see the table space sizes. We make sure we always refresh it before making a note.
So is there anything else I can see. Once I saw the ContentGarbageCollection agent to free 1025 objects and deleted 0 objects. But I don't see any change in the table space size. I am little confused b/w freed and deleted.

Vendor Account not getting automatically cleared using F.13 (OB74)

I want to clear vendor account open item based on assignment field.
for this
1. I configured OB74 as below

2. One of my vendor account # 300031 is appearing as below

(Therefore I am not clearing it through F-44)

Account type K,
From / To accounts as 0 to 99999999 (as they are numbered/charactered in the master record),
criteria 1 is ZUONR.
Account doesn't have Zero Balance but there are few line items with comman assignment text total of which is ZERO in Doc Currency (As I have shown in query)
in F.13
Clearing date is tried as 17-02-2012 as well as 18-02.2012
Unticked Test run (= Production RUN)
and executed.
But still it shows the given below details, gives the same message and not clearing the line items.

Sales Order not getting into BI using 2LIS_11_VAITM

Hi,
I have created some new sales orders in R/3 System and I deleted the setup tables and reloaded the setup tables.
Now I have reloaded my DSO in BI using 2LIS_11_VAITM and I do not see these new sales orders. Is there something that I am missing.
I have done this numerous times before but never ran into this kind of issue and I have tried everything that I can think of. Please let me know if you can think of any suggestions.

you have deleted the delta queue data/datasource? is ur V3 job is stopped?
try to run the setup table filling in background.
delete the setup table content for application 11.
for doing setup table init, u can also do it with delta queue available.do the initialization in background.give the output device as LP01 and save and schedule the job.
u can chk the content but not records as such of the setup table in se11/se16 - mc11setup table.

Do not get option to use swipe gestures with Remote app

I am using Remote version 3.0.1 and with previous remote versions when I opened the app on my phone I would get the option to access my library or to just use swipe gestures to control the apple tv - now I don't, it goes straight to my library when opening the app. What if I want to watch netflix or something other than playing stuff in my library? How do I get this functionality back? On the screen shots for the app in AppStore it has a shots of the swipe screen with "Tap to Select or Swipe to Navigate" so it must still be in this version?

On the bottom of the app there are different options (Playlists, Artists, Control, Search, More). Choose control and it will bring you to that screen. If you can't get there maybe it isn't detecting your Apple TV.
