Not getting ONE domain via APE

I'm using APE to run my whole network here at home. So far I've loved it.
Until about 3 days ago, we had access to everything running just fine, but for some reason, my University's domain (everything for under uwosh.edu) will not come up for us, and I've narrowed it down to the APE. Here's the troubleshooting I've done so far:
1. Tested other domains (i.e. google.com, apple.com, hp.com, etc.) and have had absolutely no problems with access.
2. Restarted the APE, this had no effect on access whatsoever.
3. Restarted my modem. Again, no effect.
4. Restarted my computer w/ the Airport utility installed. No effect.
5. Shut everything down uninstalled Airport utility, and rebooted my computer, then turned on my modem, connected my modem directly to my computer and voila, I'm getting connectivity to the entire uwosh.edu domain. I held down the APE reset button until it reset, and plugged everything back in, and re-installed it on my main computer, and now I'm still getting access to everything BUT uwosh.edu again.
ARGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Not sure what to do here since I have access to the entire domain when using just my modem (we have road runner btw) but NOT when connecting via my APE. If you need further details, i.e. DNS, DHCP, etc., to help troubleshoot, please let me know.

Might be interesting to goto the following sections of the GUI disable the discovery protocols;
1. Administration>Discovery -LLDP >properties
2. Administration>Discovery -CDP >Management interface
3 Smartports >Properties > Admministrative Auto Smartports is disabled.
the switches are real smart and may pre-empt what you are trying to achieve.

User disabled until start date not getting ROs provisioned via AP

Here's the situation: I have a user in OIM that is disabled until start date. When the start date rolls around, and the job "Enable User After Start Date" runs followed by "Evaulate User Policies," the user is correctly enabled and the correct role gets assigned but the access policy associated with that role does not appear to get triggered so the APs resources are not assigned. However, if a user is entered the same way (via HR recon) but is on or after its start date, then the role gets assigned, the access policy fires, and the ROs are provisioned just fine.
I have noticed that if a user is moved from disabled to enabled, then the membership rules fire and any roles associated with the rules get assigned but in the DB the field USR_POLICY_UPDATE remains null. If I update that field with a '1' and re-run "Evaluate User Policies," the resources are provisioned correctly.
I am wondering if anyone has seen this before or has a suggestion as to how to resolve this.

Thanks for the suggestion. As it turned out, I did not have Retrofit checked but unfortunately that did not resolve the issue. The behavior remained the same after checking and re-running 'Evaluate User Policies'.
I may have a workaround for this issue that I am in the process of implementing. I'm creating a job that will run right before 'Enable User After Start Date' that will update the USR_POLICY_UPDATE field to'1' if the status of a user is 'Disabled Until Start Date.' Then the user will get enabled, assigned the appropriate roles via rules, and 'Evaluate User Policies' should run and now find this user and apply the access policies.
Anyway, seems like there should be a simpler answer so I'll keep checking here if anyone has one. I'll also update if the above workaround works.

Phones not getting IP address via DHCP server on same VLAN

Hello....we have a new series of Cisco SF-200s and one new Cisco SF-300. All switches are operating in layer 2 mode currently. Let's say for all intents and purposes, all ports are in VLAN1....pretty much default setup. There is a fiber backbone between uplink ports...and it is working correctly it appears.
There is a DHCP server allocating addresses 192.168.0.60 thru 192.168.0.79. Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
PCs and laptops successfully receive an IP address and can access things.....such as surfing the internet. Tested that from multiple switches....all seems to work just fine.
However, it seems that some newly purchased phones (Digium models) simply will not acquire an IP address like the PCs and laptops do.
Pretty broad question....but just wondering.

Can not get correct sinewave via labview RT

now i am working on a little program about anlog wave input and anlog wave output.here is my diagram block
you know, i just load this VI into the RT system and run it, on th other hand, i choose a anlog in channel, and genarate(by the TEK machine) a sinewave(100hz,4v) into the DAQ card. The output of another DAQ card connected to the scope(another TEK machine). i wish to get the right wave, but ......
i do not know what is wrong with the output, maybe have something to do with the system clock, but i run it in the RT.so,if you have ever noticed this problem or you know why,please tell me!

Check your acquisition loop. Some bugs has to to be fix.
1. Inside the loop if you check your sample to read input as -1, its indicate that whenever samples come on your ram your are going to read that all samples. This is the wrong method give your number of samples to read as 1000. Based on your number of samples to read configure your loop rate. Means if you want to update your output in 1 sec give 1000 input to number of samples to read. If you want to read 100 samples then give 100 so now your acquisition loop rate is 10. Your loop will run 10 time to acquire complete 1000 samples so now your AO updates rate is 100ms.
2. Remove samples per channel input from your DAQmx timing VI. No need to give this input.

After upgrading MobileMe to iCloud I can not get my TimeCapsule via "Back to my Mac" feature

I have made no changes in TimeCapsule setting. Before upgrade to iCloud all was working fine, but right after it I lost any access to my TC via Internet.
What can I do to fix it?

My guess is that this will be another extremely useful feature that the new "gimmick" named iCloud will knock out. So many people are moving toward this abomination called iCloud only to realize that MobileMe was a better solution. Now we must use DropBox and other methods to continue true mobile/cloud computing. I advise many clients and many are disappointed that their digital workflow has been revoked. They are even more upset that they had to pay to do so. I usually try not to complain about lost features as they usually have a better replacement, but these new features have not unhanced their predecessors... in fact, they have only iliminated them.

Cannot connect to one domain via wireless

All of a sudden I cannot connect to my COX pop email account with my Macbook via my wireless router only, either by any email client or web access. Ethernet into the same router is ok. My Powerbook G4 is fine or my Dell PC notebook is fine either connection. I've also tried a neighbors wireless connection with the same result. So far any other of my pop 3 connections are ok. This has seemed to happen after upgrading to 10.5.1. Any ideas out there??

Why i can not get the quantity via BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY ?

I can only comment on #2. Because the player doesn't use 'drivers' and relies on Microsofts MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) it doesn't 'officially' work on Macs. However, on previous Creative MTP players independant end users have always come through and written software to work around this issue. I don't own a Mac, and haven't tested it out myself, but I hear it works.

Can not get e-mail from one person

This happens with a lot of providers, who block remote access to their outgoing servers as a means of preventing spam.
Try using Sprint's outgoing mail server. Go to the Palm Knowledgebase and enter 39211 in the Solution ID box for the server information.

I am not getting my Comcast bill

I have not received a bill from Comcast for my cable service except for one time since January of this year. I've called Comcast six times and have been on the phone as long as 90 minutes with a Comcast rep and they can't seem to figure out why I am not getting my bill via my email and in my bill pay at my credit union. The only reason my bill is paid on time is because I remember to check on line. Does anyone have a thought as to why this is happening?

* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

DHCP via Hyper-V VM, Server2012r2 Hyper-V host, clients not getting IP address

You have to authorize a dhcp server as Britv8 says. That's the only way it'll start dishing out leases. That's standard for Windows DHCP server in an AD Domain.
Also there's 0 reason to mention Hyper-V here. The whole point of virtualization is to do hardware level abstraction.

I recently encountered this. Setup:
Initial setup of the system was at a different location from its final destination, with different network equipment (switches) between the two. No teaming is involved, however.
Set up the system at its final destination, with DHCP via a Hyper-V VM (Server2012r2), Server2012r2 Hyper-V host, physical clients on the lan were not getting IP address.
The physical server box has a 4-port Intel Gigabit ethernet card.
I moved the setup (Hyper-V Virtual Switch manager) so that the interface for the DHCP server VM was isntead using one of two built-in Broadcom adapters.

POWL OBN links do not open a pop up window in one domain

I am hoping to get some helpful information on a problem with a POWL OBN links not opening a pop-up only in one domain. The issue is described below.
We have deployed the BP for Buyer 1.0, SP15. One of the iViews we use is the My Purchasing Documents and we have enabled the query POWL_PR_MY. Our Portal Version is 7.0 SP21, ECC6 (no EHP).
Query POWL_PR_MY (My Purchase Requisitions) of POWL Application OPS-BUYER-POWL-PURDOC has links with the Purchase Requisition Number. Ideally when the links are clicked on, it should open up the Purchase Requisition transaction with the details of the item. This does not happen in our case.
Our Portal Server is on the domain main.nex.com, but is accessed from the domain drs.nex.com. The ECC is also on the main.nex.com domain.
When we access this application using "portal.main.nex.com", the links work fine as they should. But when we access the application using "portal.drs.nex.com", they do not open at all. There is no error message displayed. It just simply does not do anything.
We have added *.main.nex.com to our local intranet trusted sites and have enabled pop-ups, added the proxy exception
*.main.nex.com. All the Pop-ups are working from the other Custom Webdynpro application and from the other SAP GUI for HTML transactions in the portal from domain "drs.nex.com".
I am not sure what the problem is, but we are facing a problem ONLY with this application's links. I am not able to see anything in the nwa logs too.
Any pointers as to where I can look for issues?

First things first: you bought this iPhone second-hand from someone you know. That person must have used his iTunes account to activate the phone. Have you tried connecting your iPhone to your computer (Mac or PC, doesn't matter) via USB and have it recognized by iTunes on your computer? If not, you'll have to activate the iPhone first. iTunes will do that for you, provided the former user has notified Apple he has sold his iPhone to you. Then, there's the question of your mobile phone provider: iPhones are network-locked. You can't buy an iPhone from someone who's, say, an Orange customer, then use it on another network than Orange's (in the US, of course, that point is moot). Only way to unlock your phone is to jailbreak it, but it's risky, and frankly, I don't think you'll find a lot of info on this forum on the subject... First off, check on which operator network you friend was.

Satellite Pro L300-12H not getting IP from DHCP router via cable

My Vista Premium SP1 laptop is connected via wireless connection to a Buffalo ADSL modem/router model WBMR-G54 which works fine. However, I tried the other day to connect up the LAN card via RJ45 cable to the router and it won't work! I get the message "limited connectivity" and an IP of 169.254.xxx.xxx which suggests it is not getting an IP from the router.
I been on various web sites and tried all sorts of things like unchecking ipv6 on the LAN card properties, turning off DHCP Broadcast flag in the registry (as per micrsoft issue) etc. but to no avail.
Anybody got any suggestions to get it working?
NB: I took the laptop into work and connected it to the Windows 2003 server network and got a DHCP IP straight away!?!

To be honest, it's still worth checking with your ISP or the router manufacturer because they will be able to guide you through the settings of the router. You're quite right about the 169.254.xxx.xxx IP address, it means that the DHCP server within the router isn't assigning an IP address to the laptop so the laptop is assigning itself an IP address via APIPA.
Short of checking the DHCP router settings, one other thing you could do is disable APIPA and try using the alternate IP configuration, this is how:
* Go to the *Start Menu* and in the *Start Search* box, type in *ncpa.cpl* and hit Enter, this will open up network connections
* Go into the properties of the LAN and properties of IPv4
* Click on the *Alternate Configuration* tab
* You will see that it is set to APIPA, you can change to *User configured* and input an available IP address, the correct subnet mask (most likely 255.255.255.0) and default gateway.
* Click *OK* as many times as you need to save all changes, then reboot with the RJ45 cable connected.
What this will then do is make the laptop try looking for a DHCP server to assign an IP address, but if no DHCP server is assigning an IP address to this laptop then it will assign one that should work on the network.
But really check router configuration as a priority.
