Not giving me the option to upgrade to iOS 4 (stuck at 3.1.3)
Whenever I hit [Update], I get a message saying 'This version of the iPod Software (3.1.3) is the current version.'
If the problem is Generation based, is there a way to tell which generation iPod I own?
i wouldnt update for a while if i were you. and on the generation thing, theres a phrase on the back of the ipod, if it's "A1288" then you have a second gen itouch.

I'm setting up Apple IDs, and its not giving me the option to set up a rescue email. I've set up Apple ID's in the past, and its always given me the option. How can I add a rescue email?

You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field. -

i just bought a samsung galaxy s6 and i when through the set up and it is not giving me the option to set EE wifi calling up? anyone had this problem?

Are you sure you have a 3GS and not a 3G? The 3G cannot be updated to iOS5. What version are you on now?... Settings > General > About > Version

You don't say what version of Pages you are using or what version of the OS you are using. In general though, you can Export to Word format either from the File menu or the Share menu, and under some circumstances, when you Save, you can check a box to Save a Copy as: Word. Export is the best option from the point of view of being reliably available in either File or Share menus.

My iphone is not giving me the option to turn wi fi off or on
I have Iphone 4s and I have restored my iphone software and backed it up, but it is still not giving me the option to turn wifi on or off. It is grayed out and says "Location accuracy is improved when Wi-Fi is turned on.
Any other suggestions to how I can get my wifi working ?Is the ON/OFF toggle there or nah?
If not, try restart your phone.
If it doesn't work after restarted your iPhone, try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Netowork Settings -

Exporting footage as an .FLV - FCP not giving me the option
I have Flash Pro 8 and the video encoder (which came with it) installed on my iMac.
Now I'm trying to export my footage from FCP as an .FLV
On my last computer I just went: Export / Quicktime Compression / and there was an option for .FLV export.
However for some reason that option isn't there on my iMac.
Can anyone help?

It's telling me that the update cannot go on as there is not Internet connection, which is false as my 3G is on as well as my wifi. Pls help
Connect your iPad to your Mac with a USB cable. Temporarily turn off your 3G radio and perform the update via Wi-Fi. If you have an iPad 1, you will be stuck on IOS 5.1.1.
You may need to update the version of iTunes on your computer if you haven't done so recently.
