Not letting me sign in to iTunes on Laptop
Hi! I got my Apple ID just today and I am satisfied with everything but when I want to sign in to iTunes using my new Apple ID but it says this account hasn't been reviewed before and once I click OK it takes me to setup a new Apple ID and it does that everytime I want to sign in. Do I need to get a new Apple ID or something? Please help anyone

Make sure that you have verified your Apple ID at appleid.apple.com. When you use your Apple ID with iTunes for the first, it will want to verify that Apple ID to ensure security.

I have an itouch that will not let me sign in to my itunes account. The email address that it is associated with is no longer valid. I keep entering the correct password but it says that it is incorrect. I can’t get a reset all of my credentials don’t work. Now all my apps won’t work. it looks like they load for half a second then disappear. What can I do?
- Try contacting iTunes for the password problem:
Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us
- For the other problem you can try a reset. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- The next standard thing to do is to download/install a new app but you cant 'do that.
- Instead, try restoring from backup. -

Download them to iTunes abd then sync the apps. Make an appointment with Apple and see what the problem is. -
I bought a second hand ipod 4 and it's not letting me sign into icloud. A message saying the five free accounts have already been registered to this ipod.? what can I do?

UPDATE: it is possible to remove an iCloud affiliation from a device when the maximum number of free accounts has been used. I used the "reset and erase" option from Settings | General | Reset | Erase All Content and Settings. When this was finished, the iPod was like new - not just "restored" as we can do within iTunes and I had done with this device - it was legitimately restored. I signed in with my son's newly created Apple ID and it was accepted and now the device works like a charm. It also still uses my Apple ID and password for the iTunes and App stores, however I have restrictions in place to prohibit him from downloading or buying any content. I hope this helps anyone else that has reported this question. -

Same thing for me. I'm getting an error message that states "The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later." I've been trying for the last two hours, off and on, and keep getting the message. I've re-started FaceTime as well as re-strated my MacBook. This is just after changing my AppleID password - both iTunes and my Apple account are fine with signing in using the new password.

Since I installed Leopard, I also get the same -9844 error message any time I try to do anything in the iTunes Music Store. I've installed iTunes 7.5 and that doesn't fix the problem for me.
Strangely enough I was able to download two free singles of the week on the iTunes Store but that's the only success I've achieved. I hope Apple fixes this problem soon. -

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Go to the 'Go' menu in the Finder and hold down the option key to reveal the Library. Then navigate to library > preferences > system configuration and drag the 'Networkinterfaces.plist' file to the trash and restart for mac. Now try again. -

allison i had the same problem to but then i figured out! You have to put in a credit card number so you can purchase a game thats free or 0.99 cents or higher then you have to fill in other stuff then press next on your ipod touch or computer then it says you have succesifully created an apple id!
