Not liking iOS 7 so far :( how to?
After downloading iOS 7.0 on my iPad 4 the magazines in newsstand shuts down and kicks me out. Never did that before? I want old software back!
Also my emails showed 350 unread but didn't have any unread to be seen. Before download 1 unread... Had to go in manually under settings and fix! Annoying!
Will the kinks be worked out and new download available or what do you do? I really wanna read my purchased magazines! :)
Users have to wait for apple to fix what apple deems needs to be fixed. You can send them feedback to tell them your issues but beyond that the workaround for the average user would be to find third party apps they like better or just be patient and see if Apple tweaks things.
No idea when a bug fix update would be coming.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

I live in South Africa, and I had the same problem with my iPhone 4.
After weeks of frustration and swearing, I was in the process of restoring my phone to a previous iOS. To do that you need to turn the "Find my iPhone" option off, since i turned it off, my problem was solved. No need to repair anything or revert back to old iOS.

We have read that any apps that use the google map app (removed by ios6) will not work. We have lost a great camping app for this reason, and have heard that some weather apps are not working either. The company line we've been given is it's up to the app developer to rewrite their apps. ***** doesn't it.

Because that is the Current iOS for your Device and you can ONLY update to the Latest... current... version. -

Have you tried sending the attachment from a different account. Have a friend send you an attachment. Get a gmail account.
Send the email with attachments to two different accounts one to your ipad and the other to a gmail account in a web browser and not on an iPad. See if you can read the ones to the gmail account.
You did reboot your ipad?

For the past two weeks, every time I start up my computer I'm asked for an iCloud login. I've never used iCloud and I'm not likely to. How do I get this login to stop automatically showing up? I'm using an iMac G5 with OS 10.9.4.
One more quick thing first. Hold the SHIFT key this time as you startup and see if that gets you any further (this is called 'Safe Mode' by the way). I'm not too confident that this will work in your case but it's worth a try. If it boots up, go into Disk Utility and repair permissions.
If it doesn't, you're going to have to do an Archive & Install which will install a fresh copy of the OS over the top BUT keep all your users, files and apps in place. -

I tried to reset settings but it didn't seem to help much. Then I read a few posts about deleting my email accounts and recreating them, and that actually seemed to help a bit. Now the only time I notice it gets heated up is when I am either on whatsapp or Instagram...that's it! -

Update it from iTunes on a computer as described at the bottom of this article; there isn't a Software Update option in General on iOS versions prior to 5.0. It can only be updated directly to the newest iOS release supported by the device’s hardware, which is iOS 6.1.6 for an iPhone 3GS.
