As you can tell, I am no IT wizard, but as a customer surely I dont need to be, its about how I feel... but I have a download speed of 0.109Mb/s and an upload speed of 0.102Mb/s... when BT quote me 2MB-8MB... and this is at 2320hrs on a thursday evening.... How can BT say they are fulfilling the terms of their contract... and this is when it isnt constantly dropping out all together several times an hour. Has anyone got any advice on whether I can say enough is enough as the offshore call centre is no use!

Apple lover JAJATry resetting your iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
CAUTION - This may get rid of the warning for now, but the issue the warning points out still remains. One or both of your cables is certainly suspect. -

What is the model #? Is it a direct HDMI connection? Have you tried a different cable and port? If possible try a different display.

My iPod shows that my battery is receiving energy and that it is "charging," but it doesn't actually charge. The battery never increases; it only decreases. Even when I have it physically plugged in and charging, it loses battery whenever I am using an APP or anything. I'm thinking that the chip that receives the energy is damaged or worn out. Is there anyway to fix it without going to the store? My USB chords is fine. It charges other iPods fine. Including a second generation iPod which means my 4th generation iPod should not have an physical battery problem. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!

- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

Ever since I bought my ipod touch 4th generation, IOS 4G, 8GB in January 2011, it would not sync selected playlists.
This is even when I have checked 3 things:
1. Under Summary/Options, I've checked "Manually manage music and videos" and "sync only checked songs and video."
2. When I go to the Music tab and attempt to sync, I have already chosen "selected playlists, artists, albums and genres"
3. When I click on "Sync" a window comes up and says "Are you sure you want to sync music? All existing content on the iPod will be removed and replaced with songs and playlists from your iTunes library."
Do I have a defective ipod?
5Red5Sync should be an automatic feature that can be triggered manually. Although, I have a two Shuffles, which are obviously not Touches, so they might be different.
If you have your iPod set to manually manage music, the option to sync only checked songs should not do anything. You have to drag songs manually to the iPod on the sidebar to add music (I've created playlists of only songs I want, then I shift-click the whole thing and drag all of the songs at once to update them, that way I don't have to remember what goes where), and you have to manually select and delete songs from the iPod's 'Music' library on the sidebar to remove them.
As for syncing the files, on my shuffles, they sync individual songs (for Get Info information changes ONLY) automatically every time I plug them into iTunes, and again if I make any changes to the Get Info stuff while they're plugged in. For example, if I added a song to my iPod playlist, it wouldn't sync it, but if I changed the genre of a song that's already on it, it will automatically sync.

Even when i have updated version of adobe flash player and active x from adobe.com, some sites do not play the video. A request box, install the plug in comes. When i click it, it again tries to install the same version of adobe, which i have already downloaded. it is only for some sites.
May be it is because, it is site problem? How to overcome itActiveX is part of the Windows operating system. Plus the ActiveX version of Adobe Flash is for Internet Explorer. Other browsers need their own version of Flash' Firefox needs the Plugin version of Flash.
If you go to the Adobe website to download Flash while using Firefox, Adobe will provide the correct version of Flash automatically. Just make sure you de-select any other programs that Adobe may want to stick you with before you actually download Flash. Then close Firefox and run the Adobe Flash installer. -
why does adobe premier elements render my video everytime i change something in it even when i have lots more of the video to edit? other editing software only seems to render at the start then lets you edit until your ready to save at the end. Constant rendering means its almost impossible to edit anything. Please help.

What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system is it running? It will not influence my answer but will give me information in case I need to get into version specifics to detail my answer further.
Timeline rendering is a preview matter. It does not fix anything, but it is your window of opportunity to catch of problem sooner than latter. If the Timeline rendering indicator displays orange (11 or higher) for the line above the Timeline content, that is the project telling you that you are not getting the best possible preview of the playback of that content in the Edit area monitor. And, every time you edit a file, you have altered the file from the time before. So, if you want to see the best possible for what you now have, you Timeline render. This is particularly helpful when you are dealing with titles, effects, transitions, and non native formats. You cannot turn off the Timeline render indicator system, at least none that I have ever found nor seen reported. You can do selective Timeline rendering by having the gray tabs of the Work Area Bar span only the Timeline segment that you want Timeline rendered.
Consequently, you either ignore the Timeline render indicator system, move on in the project, and take your chances in the outcome or you Timeline render to get your best possible preview if the Timeline render indicator is suggesting that you do so.
I am not approving or disapproving of this project feature, just commenting on the what is.

Add On...it is also possible to do Timeline rendering in a project, save close the project, and reopen it to find your previously "green" lined content now "orange", indicating unrendered. Yet the preview files generated originally by Timeline rendering are still existing in their hard drive save location. That is another story for other time. -
I have an iPhone 5 and it shows on the Mail Icon that I have over 3,000 emails to read but the number continues to increase even when I have read the email. I thought once you have read an email it drops off the count of "new emails"
The received emails should show in two locations:
1. In the All Inboxes tab of Mail.
2. The Inbox for each mail account,
If your emails are not showing in these locations try quitting the mail app and then reset your iPhone.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal.
To reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
Everytime I put my iphone5 on charge now matter where I am and even when I have signal it always drops the signal and continues to have no signal until I take it off charge. I have the up to date software on it and everything and is relatively new. Is anyone else having this problem and how do I fix it?

If you have iPhoto '09, you cannot browse or restore seleted items from your backups. See the pink box in #15 of Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.
Mail should work, however, per the blue box there. -
AX light is yellow and does not flash and doesn't change even when I press the "reset". Tried unplugging and reset -- still a solid yellow. I assume this is a goner?
Unfortunately, based on your description, I would have to second that your Express is a "goner." However, before giving up on the unit, be sure that you attempt a "factory default" reset at least 3x just to be sure.

Plug it into power for at least 15 minutes. If it doesn't automatically come on, try a reset... press the home and sleep (on/off) buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

When a pop-up comes up on the screen it will ask to save my password or not, well, I click on save password but it doesnt save any passwords even when I have the check box checked for remembering my passwords for certain sites it will not save any type of passwords at all. What am I doing wrong? I am using linux-mac OS user.
Simply because I don't think about using this option that takes more time to close... I always close ALL my windows with the X.
Firefox doesn't hang at exit also...
Using Firefox / Exit doesn't always save the bookmarks also... let's say there is 80% chances it will but not always... I noticed the first time I open firefox after booting the computer... Bookmarks won't be saved... But if I close firefox and re-open it, then it might save it... 50% guess...
I tried the safe mode, but since its closing firefox and re-open it... new saved bookmarks sometimes work, sometimes don't... it's pretty unstable...
Hopefully there is a solution to this problem in a near update, annoying... else I will simply reverse to firefox 3.6.16 -

Your download or install of the update may have been corrupt. Visit the Mac App Store and re-download the update or visit http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1726 and download the 10.9.2 update combo and re-install.
