Not opening a project in Vista64

Question

I just opened and changed an EncoreCS4 project in Vista 32b.
So far so good.
As I prefer working with CS4 in a 64b environment I opened the same project and what happens?
Nothing. The screen says Initializing Transcoding, but after 3 hours still no loaded project.
Is this common behaviour or did I miss something?

I just had a six hour adventure resolving this same issue. In my case, the root of the problem was that, in my 10.1 rulebase, I had entity-level error and warning event rules that did not use Exists(). For example, in a rulebase with a "global-->the employer" relationship, I had rules like:
Error("You must make a selection.") if
the type of the employer = "Select one"
During the upgrade to 10.2, it seems as though a new relationship was created ("all instances of the employer") to deal with the "relationship gap" in this rule. As a result, OPA's internal data model had two relationships ("the employers" and "all instances of the employer") connecting the same two entities. (This is all just a theory, by the way.)
To resolve the conflict, I had to do two things: First, I had to change event rules like the one above to:
Error("You must make a selection.") if
Exists(the employers, the type of the employer = "Select one")
Second, I had to click on each of the build error messages and, in the window that popped up, change the text of any offending relationships to "the employer."
