Not Photoshop screen for executing functions

I have dowloaded Photoshop CC on a trial basis but can't seem to execute anything other than the tutorials. I don't get the screen from which to execute functions. what have I done wrong?

A trial version of Photoshop is fully functional, there isn't anything that is restricted. What screen are you looking for? What functions are you trying to execute? Generally, the functions in Photoshop are executed from the Menu bar, the tools panel, or the other panels (Layers, Actions, History, etc). There is no screen for running functions. Unless you are refering to the Photoshop UI itself.
But you mention that you are able to run tutorials. What tutorials would those be? Photoshop doesn't come with any. Perhaps you have something other than Photoshop installed?

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:

If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.

Unless you are using Spry menus as a learning experience, you should move forward to a menus system that will display properly on the millions of portable devices that won't work with Spry which was deprecated 2 years ago.

FB02 - Field KIDNO not on screen for credit doc (customer) / debit (vendor)

Hello,
I am trying to manually change field BDEG-KIDNO on transaction FB02.
I used custumization to make this field changeble when:
. Line item not cleared
. No invoice-related credit memo
I do not have the "Customer Debit or Vendor Credit" checked since I intended to change both debit and credit documents for customers and vendors.
When I used transaction FB02 to change this field I have no problems with debit documents on customers and credit documents on vendors but I cannot change it since the field BSEG-KIDNO does not appear on screen.
Is there any customization for whether field BSEG-KIDNO appears on screen for credit documents for customers and debit documents for vendors?
Any help will be appreciated.

The field I want to change is BSEG_KIDNO not BKPF-XBLNR.
This field (payment reference) appears on the line item if customer debit document and vendor credit document but not if customer credit document and vendor debit document.

How to create a Custom Screen for executing a report in the backend ?

Hello Everyone,
I have a requirement to develop a Custom Application on the Cloud to capture few fields from user and trigger an execution of a report in the background in CRM. There is no need to display any results after the triggering execution. Just need to show a message that "Background Job was successfully submitted".
I saw the types of screens available for creation as explained in this link Screen Types, unfortunately none of the screen types works out for me.
As seen from the requirement, there is no need to store any data send from the UI in backend. So, it doesn't make sense for me to create a Business Object. So I tried creating a Query Object to see if that works out, but query object also requires a BO to execute query on and it also makes result list view mandatory and asks me to pick atleast one field to show in the result list.
I also tried Mass Data run which doesn't fit the bill.
So, I'm looking for the best possible UI screen and approach to build a simple custom application with 5-6 fields and an execute button. Please suggest me the best possible option available in the C4C.

first of all: if you really need a button, you will need to create your own business object with an action.
If you just want to trigger the service you could add an extension field of type indicator to any standard Bo and the put logic in the before save of this Xbo. Then you just add the indicator to the UI. But the user would always have to go to this screen I.e. The customer...
so i guess maybe a custom business object with only one instance, a button, some logic in an action and a generated UI including a workcenters 'backend report execution' is the best way for you!

JRA "Execute Function" Option in MII 12.1.8.24

We recently upgraded our MII instance from 12.1.4 to 12.1.8.24. MII is running on NetWeaver 7.01 sp08.
We have noticed a drastic change in the way that "SAP JRA Function" Action block works after the upgrade. The "Execute Function" Check Box appears to be the culprit. Prior to the upgrade, selecting the indicator for "Execute Function" resulted in the RFC being executed and returning results. Not checking the box would simply result in the XML Structure being available. This lined up with the SAP Help definition for JCO which can be found here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii122/helpdata/en/45/a3da12c3b50cefe10000000a114a6b/content.htm
Now that we have upgraded the "Execute Function" results in the following:
- When selected the RFC is not called and no results are returned.
- When NOT selected the RFC is called and the results are returned.
I am hoping someone else has already encountered this or can tell me I am doing something wrong.

If I interpret that correctly, it would be NW CE 7.11 SP6. I was not aware that SP6 had been released yet, but I am pretty sure that the installation instructions for MII 12.1.8 will specify SP5 as the version to use. MII and NW versions really do need to align correctly. This may be the cause of the JRA problems you are experiencing.
I would suggest you verify the NW version and Service Pack with the Basis folks (and reread the installation instructions for 12.1.8 build 24) and make sure the two versions are correctly matched.

Hi, I can not get my iphone 4 voice over function to work. I turn it on and then it turns off automatical. I ok the message the message stays on the screen for 30 secs or so and then turns it off????

I just had this same issue. It occured after I joined my school's Wi-Fi. Suddenly, my home ATV2 and iPhone4 weren't on speaking terms. All five other iphones, ipads, and macs were operating as they should. My phone was not. I tried everything: unplugging and restarting ATV2, deauthorizing all my devices and reauthorizing them, deleting and reinstalling remote app, and countless home sharing on and offs on all devices. Finally, I turned the Wi-Fi off and then on in the setting of my iphone. Boom. Situation remedied. I hope this helps.

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

I have a requirement like this...
there is a program for selective deletion from a data target by a transaction called delete_facts.
this generates a program for selective deletion. when i run this report there comes one screen asks for selections fields and then again excute it then deletion will happen.
But this program i need to modify for certain default values so as to avoid entering of the values in the selection screen.
i will use default value this will solve my 1st purpose but since this program has to be scheduled from process chain, the 2nd execute funtionality( once the values appear in the screen) shud be automated.
can anybody tell me how to do this that is after program runs values will be passed to selection screen and selection screen shud not be shown and execute shud happen automatically.

Save Panel Image / Screen Image does not work as an Executable

The Save Panel Image / Screen Image does not work as an Executable. It looks like there is a conflict with the Path, since the Screen_Image.exe is launched as Screen_Image.vi. I've tried this function both ways with the path name change Screen_Image.exe AND Screen_Image.vi.

Any chance you might be able to post some code illustrating what you are talking about?

Not getting BI query variable selection screen for few test users

i am having problem when i am executing the reports. i am not getting variable screen for the test users ID's. but i am getting the screen when when 0BI_ALL authorization selected.
i want role based authorization, and not complete authorization.
the parameters in su01 are scl(X) and wlc(X X XX X)

ALV not getting refreshed when call screen is executed second time

I have 2 screens 9001 and 9002. In 9001 , I am displaying the fields of a database table in a Table Control. The user has to select some of those fields and click on a button 'Generate ALV'. After clicking , the control navigates to 9002 where I am displaying ALV with data in the selected fields(the other fields remain empty). (using custom container)
Now there is BACK button in 9002 where i have written LEAVE TO SCREEN 9001. After this if the user again make changes in column selection and click on 'Generate ALV' , then still the old alv data is displayed. (Mind you the structure of alv is same , only the selected fields should show data).
I am using REFRESH_ALV_DISPLAY also and when i tested this function independently , its working fine (although for interactive alv in the same screen).
I am making use of <fs> for dynamic internal table and i checked it using breakpoints , during the 2nd time , it contains the correctly updated data so i think the problem lies with alv

Altough it's not a really nice solution... Why using 2 screens for example? you could use two containers instead...
Also I would recommand playing with the new salv class for your grids.

With the new update my screen is not wide enough for the format. How do I change this?

After the new update, the screen shows only 3/4 of what is presented. I have reduced the size of the print and that did not help. For instance, in typing this, once I got as far as "presented" the screen had to shift to the left to allow me to see what I was typing. It did this automatically. I don't know what caused this in the latest edition of the update, but it has caused me a number of problems in doing on line banking because unmovable windows do not show enough to allow me to hit the submit button.
I want to see the entire window when I log onto a site. When I now open Yahoo News for instance, I cannot see the last three inches. I can see them if I move the page over, but up until now, I have always seen the entire page when it comes up without having to take any action on my part.
Where do I go or what do I do to get it back to how it always functioned before?
I opened the learn system and it references a Mozilla tool bar which I do not have either. Don't know if this is relevant or not.

Firefox on Windows is now following display scaling options which may render text larger on high resolution displays. There's more than one way to resolve this problem. How to use interactive layout in Photoshop CC for the photomerge function?

I find it really hard to combine the images together because the end result from photomerge does not have the snap in function like the interactive layout. Does anyone know how can I bring back the interactive layout in Photoshop CC? I downloaded the PhotomergeUI plugin but error came up saying 'Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of doument'. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I was able to get PhotomergeUI to work in CS6 (both x64 and x86) by the following method:
If you download Photoshop CS5 Optional Plugins and (for 64-bit versions of Adobe Photoshop on Windows) extract "\\CS5OptionalPlugins_Win_en_US.zip\PSCS5OptionalPlugins_Win_en_US\Optional Plug-Ins\Win64\PhotomergeUI.8BF" to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\Automate" and "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS6\Automate" then the Photomerge UI becomes available in Photoshop CS6.
If the "Automate" directories are not available (existent), then you may first create them in their respective directories. This is not necessary, however, as the plugins may be dropped anywhere in the 'plugins' folder.
However, this method doesn't seem to work with Adobe Photoshop CC. I will continue to investigate how to implement this plug-in in Adobe Photoshop CC..
