Not picking up N signal from router

I recently purchased a NetGear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless N Router. I live in a three-story townhome, with a Mac mini on the first floor and an Imac with Airport Extreme on the third floor. I hooked up the router to my Comcast modem and the router to the Mac mini, which supports G band, not N. However, I shut off airport at the mini so that it was receiving the signal directly through the cable. The router was set up manually, per the instructions for Mac and Linux users. I went upstairs to my Imac and only received a G signal. It also showed that I was only connected on Channel 11, not the higher channels usually subscribed to N standard routers. When I went to check the router, it showed it was set up for Channel 44/5.220GHz on JohnN and Channel 11/2.4GHz on JohnG. I've spent hours on the phone and e-mailing NetGear's tech support people, to no avail. I'm ready to take it back to the store and get my money back. I thought I would try going to other Apple users and see if they have had a similar problem. When I go online with the Imac and it shows available networks, it shows JohnG, along with other neighboring networks, but no evidence of JohnN. The router seems to be operating properly, from what I can, so I can only assume there is something missing at the Imac's end. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Although I have been using a Mac for years, it belonged to a friend and I went to his office to use it. He has since moved and I bought my own. This is my first time on Apple Discussions. Which iMac do you have?
If the iMac has a "Core 2 Duo" processor it can connect to an 802.11n network.
If the iMac has a "Core Duo", G5, or G4 processor it can not connect to an 802.11n network.

It is very possible that you may have some form of Wi-Fi interference in the the area that is preventing your 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn) from providing a clean RF signal to your iPhone.
I suggest you perform a simple site survey, using utilities like iStumbler, or AirRadar to determine potential areas of interference, and then, try to either eliminate or significantly reduce them where possible.

I'm trying to use AirPort Untility to configure the old APExtreme to extend the network, but it won't let me.
"Extend" is only used if the two AirPort Extremes are connecting using wireless only.
"Create" is the correct setting to use since the AirPort Exremes are connecting using Ethernet.
Configure the second AirPort Extreme to create a wireless network using the exact same wireless network name, same security setttings and same wireless password as the "main" AirPort Extreme and make sure that you are choosing the Bridge Mode option for the second AirPort Extreme before clicking Update to save the settings.
When you do this, everything will act like one big wireless network and computers will automatically pick up a signal from the AirPort with the strongest signal based on their location.
This Apple document more details on this....which is called a Roaming Network.

PO not picking up the Price from Info Record ???

Pricing Procedure and the Schema Grp is defined in Schema Determination in SPRO.
Schema Grp has been assigned in the Vendor Master.
Price has been maintained in the PB00 condition type in the Condition Supplements screen, but shows 'Zero' in the 'Purchasing Org. Data 1' screen of Info Record.
However, while creating PO the system does not pick up the Price from the Info Record and both the Condition Types PB00 and PBXX appears and display the Amount as 0.00 ? Also the system does not take the value entered in the 'Net Price' field and the Price can only be entered manually in the Conditon Type in the Conditions Tab ?
Can anyone help in resolving this issue ?

This requirement can be assigned to a condition type in the pricing procedure to ensure that it is not accessed when a condition record with exclusion indicator 'X' has already been found. Condition exclusion is a general tool that can be used to exclude conditions from pricing based on previous conditions that have been found in the pricing procedure. This requirement is intended for use in MM pricing versus SD pricing. For SD pricing, a variation of requirement '2' should be used which would also check to see if the item category is relevant for pricing
2. You have define all your supplementory condition in supplementory pricing procedure and you have to assign this supplementory procedure to your Condition type PB00.Then all these conditions will be displayed at item level for selection in drop down.
Since the supplementory conditions are dependent on PB00, you have assign to the PB00.
If you maintain the values for these conditions in info record, these values will be copied from info to PO.

Quit Safari, find the com.apple.Safari.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder, drag it to the Desktop, log out/in or restart and let us know what happens.

JDBC sender channel running but not picking up the data from sp

Hi,
One of the jdbc sender channels in production is running at its schedule time but it is not picking up the data from the sql side, we have checked with the sp side and they are saying that sp is running fine. No changes have been done in its configuration. Last message coming in RWB is Retry interval started but that is of 1 day and its already been 3 days. I tried by starting and stopping the channel but of no use. The channel was re activated but that also didn't help.
Please help, what can be the reason for the same.

The JDBCadapter ( The respective channel) is definitely locked in PI . Ideally for each polling interval a lock is being created and once the processing is over , the lock should be released/deleted automatically to allow further polling interval. If the lock is not released by the system automatically,further polling will not happen as expected. ( This may affect all sender JDBC adapters as well. I would recommend to do a check in all sender JDBC communication channels)
You can see/delete the locks in Visual admin.
Go to Server>Services->Locking adapter and click refresh
The entries for JDBC adapter ( with name $XIDBAD.JDBC2XI) should be deleted by selecting those particilar entries and click delete selected locks.
If you have more than one node, then same should be done in all server nodes.
The temprory solution would be creating/copy the existing channel in ID with same properties and assign it into particular sender agreement.
But, the lock may be created again which potentailly stops all your database interfaces. Hence i would suggest to use Disconnect From Database After processing of Each messages in Advanced tab in the sender JDBC adapter.
Hope this solves your issue.
PS: The same bahaviour would expected for all file adapter as well

Airport card not picking up any signals after IP configuration changed

Just had cable internet installed in my apartment, and in the course of setting up the IP configuration for the built-in ethernet connection, my airport card has stopped recognizing wireless networks in my building. Before I changed these settings, the card was working, and there are several networks in the building that it recognized. Now, it recognizes none. The menu appears in the top bar, and I can turn the airport on and off, but it simply is not picking up any signals whatsoever.
I have tried a handful of tactics, including changing the Airport TCP/IP configuration in several different ways, rebooting several times, and even removing and reinserting the Airport card.
For info: I'm using an iBook G3 with OS 10.2.8. (I know, pretty old, but it's still chugging along...)
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure. What's strange is that the very same computer was picking up signals (not accessing them b/c they were all password protected), recognizing networks in the area at least, before I played with the other IP configuration settings. Now it picks up none. It shows that there are none in the area, even though I know that there are.
Also, often, when I click on the Airport icon in the menu bar, the computer hangs for up to a minute before the menu actually pops up.
I have an Airport Express unit that I have hooked up to the cable modem, and my Airport card won't even recognize that signal. I'm just not sure what I changed that made it go haywire. I've been using this computer on wireless networks for the entire time I've owned it. Never had this problem before yesterday.

Try resseting the network settings in settings>general then go to reset a the bottom.
Then reset NETWORK settings.

Along with other thing It says
"Delivery costs are generally not supported in external services management and in case
of blanket purchase orders, item category D or B. Instead of representing delivery
costs via conditions, in case of service documents, freight costs and other, SAP
recommends to add in additional service lines."
So that is the reason you are not getting those account entry in the time of service entry sheet
Use another service line with text ( or service master) for the additional costs as suggested by SAP

New AC router, new MBair, not picking up AC signal?

But when I go to the system info, I see that I do have an AC card. The router is brand new (got it today special delivery from Comcast, (THANK YOU GOOGLE FIBER FOR ADDING COMPETITION!) so I know I have all the AC stuff, but for some reason my computer doesn't grab the AC signal from the router (which is also the modem)

There is nothing in the User Guide that tells me that this Cisco product is "ac" capable, nor can I find any other specifications that indicate that it has "ac" capability.
The specifications below indicate 802.11a/b/g/n capabilities. I see no "ac" listed.

Leg determination not picking Distance and Time from Config

Current process : User creates outbound shipment assign outbound deliveries to it and once they press 'Planning' button stages (Leg determination) are created automatically.Categories of leg determination in Shipment is set as 1.
For example if an outbound delivery is going from plant ABC warehouse 01 to customer(ship-to) XYZ. It creates a stage from plant ABC/01 to destination XYZ.
I am working on requirement where we would like the distance and Duration automatically filled-in when these stage(s) is/are created.
I've made following changes in config
1) Defined Transportation Connection Point 'ZABC' with reference to plant warehouse ABC/01
2) Defined Transportation Connection Point 'ZXYZ' with ref to customer XYZ.
3) In 'Define Route and Stages' , I've defined 'Route Stage' from ZABC to ZXYZ under Route which is used in Shipment. And within this Route Stage I've mentioned values for 'Distance', 'Total duration' and 'Travel duration'.
After these setting I am expecting values 'Distance', 'Total duration' and 'Travel duration' to be picked up during Leg Determination but it's not.
Could someone please point me in right direction.

I do not think that this does work. But if you have defined the route with stages already anyway: why do you then have a leg determination? In this case you should choose to "take over stages from route" (the field above the setting for the leg determination).

*BOOT CAMP* Windows XP not picking up wireless signal on Lion

I just got a new iMac two days ago and was able to install Windows XP from my old Dell Latitude boot disk. Yes, I thought it was odd... But it worked. I do understand that Lion only provides Windows 7 drivers in Boot Camp Assistant, but I was able to install Boot Camp 3.0 and 3.1 drivers for XP, right from the Apple Support Boot Camp driver link.
Well... My main issue lies here... When I switch to the XP side, it wont pick up a wireless signal. That's all I need so that I can start updating Windows from the internet, but it is not picking anything up.
I'm assuming that I am just missing the driver, but like I said, I installed the drivers provided by Apple. This is very frustrating and am not sure what to do.
Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

This appears to be a problem with some of the newest MacBooks. There are several posts on this issue. It is possible that, as you seem to have noticed, switching to an NTFS formatted partition will solve the problem. See e.g. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5947955&#5947955
